Hotel La Palma

Friendly staff and manager who not only worked through our booking issues but upgraded our room for the length of time it took to check us in. Also provided excellent dining and tour information.

Location and friendly staff

Sheets and towels were rough (hard)

Well located, very pleasant staff

I didn’t love the breakfast

The room was great, with a balcony and view to the lake. The location was perfect, near the train station and ferry station and just in front of the lake. They prepared breakfast early for us as we were racing.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Palma. There are numerous amenities offered for a comfortable stay -- too many to try them all. We had booked the superior room which had a small terrace with a lake view. What a spectacular setting and what a great view to start the day. The Skybar is a great spot for drinks and for taking pictures, although the service here was a bit indifferent. Service elsewhere in the hotel was spot-on and the staff were very helpful in arranging an excursion and answering our questions. Breakfast is included and offers a lot of options. Also highly recommended is the restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner there -- the duck-stuffed tortellini were outrageous. Parking is available in a small underground garage, although a bit tricky if you have a high-clearance vehicle.

The staff were excellent. The skybar and spa pool were fabulous. Very convenient to the town centre. Fabulous lakeside pool.

Great Hotel. Excellent service. Nice Spa.

Currently there are constructions going on next to the Hotel. A bit noisy and spoiling the view.

Clean. Quiet, for an active location. Roof top was nice. Scramble breakfast seems incongruous for a luxury hotel.

Room was cold…heating system did not work. Reading lights near the bed were ineffective for reading. Television stations: few in English. No premium choice…Netflix…Prime…etc.

Great staff, helpful and friendly. Lovely decor, great location near town and the train station. Good Air Conditioning too.

Great location and staff was fantastic. Pools were great.

Amazing pool! Comfortable rooms. Incredible views!!

Everything was excellent—the lakeside pool, the lavish breakfast, and the incredible Sky Bar. Staff were particularly friendly and professional.

Nice rooftop pool and bar .great location

Room smaller than expected

Gorgeous hotel. Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff. Rooftop has incredible views. The pool by the lake is amazing. I recommend getting a spa treatment with Camilla.

Everything was wonderful

Great location. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Waiter were excellent. We had 2 dogs, our room was very clean. Bellmen were very helpful.

The front desk help was a little weak. There was 3 or 4 people working at the front desk but we felt like no one wanted to help us. Once someone did, they were very helpful Skybar service was a little weak

The property was gorgeous, inside and out. The pools were fantastic and we couldn’t even use them. It was beautiful and clean.

Love this hotel! Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful room, well appointed. Very helpful staff. Many amenities and beautiful location. We enjoyed apperitifs and views at the rooftop bar. Walking distance to many lovely restaurants, the ferry, and shops. The beach and beachside pool are lovely! Very romantic. Breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Only that we didn’t stay longer!

Breakfast, spa, gym, lake view from the room

Contraction next to the hotel

Place was beautiful and very clean. Love the modern look of the place and the pool club across the street was beautiful.

Lovely corner suite, some exceptional food (eg Pea Flan!) very helpful and pleasant staff very good breakfast

Dinner food a bit patchy - some outstanding dishes some a bit ordinary. The building work immediately to the north of the site will be inevitably noisy and dusty for the next year at least
