    Pros +

    • Typical old room. Old blankets! I itched all night! Staf was just okay.. Will NOT stay again even with a really good price. Not worth it
    • Price for value was matched. Amenities provided. Pool was refreshing albeit not warmed. Staff was very friendly and informative upon arrival. We enjoyed not being in the old town where the whole bustle of the nightlife and restaurants was happening - so the walk to and from the hotel and old town was welcomed. Plus the ferry station to get to the islands was very close and that was super.
    • Close to Railway Quiet place day &night

    Cons -

    • When we chose two single beds, we didn't expect two single beds pushed together + a bunk bed. Seemed the hotel had more rooms available but unsure. Perhaps there was no actual two singles available or why we were given the bunk bed (clearly a family room) option. So one of the two adults slept in the big two person bed and one slept in the bunk. This was a little funny. Oh and the bathroom had a constant flickering light, so i would recommend the cleaning staff turn attention to these kinds of minor details and notify the building manager, as someone with epilepsy probably shouldn't use that room or bathroom.
    • No kettle in room Air con not working Shower drained poorly Not being able to iron clothes
    • The beds could use a new upgrade as well as paint

The pool, the breakfast and location in Stresa

The beds could use a new upgrade as well as paint

Great outdoor pool, bikes rental on side, location near the lake and boat station, super friendly and helpful staff.

    A bit old.

We had a great stay at this property! It was very clean, in a great location, and had a beautifull view. While the beds

Staff very nice, very welcoming and facilitate our life during the stay.Very close to the lake and start to a nice walk to Stresa center.

The climatisation a little bit noisy and the bathroom comfortable, with a window, a kind of oldfashioned. But globally the room was good.

    9KimberlyPosted on: 5-17-2025

Very kind receptionist. Give us information about free parking. And some information about the ferry.

The floor in the room was very dirty. Very, very dirty. The room had no glasses so if you had to drink water, you had to cup your hands. There was a literal bus load of tourists lined up at breakfast at the cappuccino machine. It was impossible to get an espresso or a cup of coffee. It was like they were all fighting to get their espresso.

Excellent location, good value for money, helpful staff

Rooms are small but i knew that already considering the price and location

    8StefaniePosted on: 4-30-2025

Very nice location next to the lake, nice hotel team, very pet-friendly

Breakfast (e.g. cappuccino) could have been improved

    7KarenPosted on: 4-27-2025

The location was perfect, there was a beautiful lakeside spot 5 minutes from the hotel and a 10/15 minute walk into town. Room was big although dated. Staff friendly. Lovely balcony

The decor is dated and rooms need refurbishment. I expected more for 100 euro a night

    8OrlandoPosted on: 4-24-2025

early check in. Size of room and bath room. Location and price

Wifi via annoying and buggy 3rd party security system barely worked. Bathroom for the lobby had no running water. Street to the station had no sidewalk (city problem).

Hotel was lovely and Staff were great! Location is beautiful and easy walking distance to town! Would happily stay again! Coffee best I drank in Italy!!

The short walk up from the first Stresa boat stop from Isola Bella was paved and not difficult. Very Close to lovely promenade along the sea towards the main part of the town.Helpful kind young man at front desk arranged a taxi for transport to train station-- he had to call 3 people but persisted and it worked out flawlessly. Nice lady in the bar area served a tasty relaxing Aperol Spritz (10euros). Very pleasant view facing the local area/hill from top floor room. Wake up call and taxi reminder call was very appreciated.

FYI: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WALK TO THE TRAIN STATION, particularly WITH LUGGAGE, if you are a woman, etc.;Fortunately, I did a trial walk to the train station early in the evening prior to leaving on a 0720am train; There is no sidewalk or shoulder on the narrow road and a somewhat questionable person was ahead on the deserted road, that I was able to turn twice to avoid (is no reflection on hotel or location). It is much farther than appears on the map. Avoid problems-- the front desk will arrange a taxi on check in and it will be fine!

Breakfast was ok, room was fine. Location, 10 to 15 minutes walk from Stresa station was good, although the road had no pavement and it was dark.

    7GaryPosted on: 10-16-2024

Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Location was perfect for ferries on lake, 10 mins from railway station and town centre. Breakfast had good choice with something for everyone.

    Missing mugs for tea

    Breakfast was nice

There is no safe in single rooms and this information is not listed on the booking sites. For example, for me it’s very important. Apparently, the hotel administration thinks travelers alone do not need to keep valuables. Rooms without any soundproofing. Very narrow beds and very uncomfortable, old pillows.

Clean hotel, good breakfast. efficient and polite restaurant staff.

Room would benefit from updating. Poor tv, no facilities to make own hot drinksI think putting room numbers on room keycards is a security risk especially if guest loses card

Close enough to walk from station downhill, took taxi for return. Very smart hotel, efficiently run by friendly staff. Picturesque walk lakeside to town. Weather was not too kind but would be glorious in sunshine. Good breakfast. Definitely recommended.
