Great location for taking the ferry to the islands. Convenient for walking into Stresa centre. Good breakfast. Clean and quiet.Be sure to take in the views from the roof top.

Location was great actually. Quiet but close to ferry to the islands.

Menu for dinner and breakfast was it’s adapted to German clients rather than Italian focussed!

Pool balance was incorrect as it stung your eyes. Would have been good to have tea coffee in your room.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient - an easy walk to the ferry and nice views from some locations. Breakfast was good and served in a very pleasant setting.

The room was too hot though it helped somewhat to leave our balcony door open at night. The decor and furnishings were dated but still charming.

Room was very nice with a beautiful lake view!

No hot water for shower in the morning !Several trips down to the front desk to resolve before they figured out the hot water heater was off…

The breakfast was very nice. The location was in walking distance to Lake & town.

The location is excellent, parking was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. We really liked that there was plenty of space on the main floor to spend time in. The garden by pool is lovely. This is a comfortable and welcoming hotel. Would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is nice but they did renovation to the pool area so there was no showers and towels to be use only to claim to the first floor. The breakfast was ok BUT they use one automatic coffee machine for a big dining groom that you need to stand on the line to the coffee machine to do the coffee by yourself and to get a mediocre small coffee !!I didn't expect this in Italy

Beautifully decorated, clean older hotel. Our room was on the fourth floor and overlooked the Lake and Isola Bella. The balcony was large, comfortable and private. Lovely hotel. The location provides great views, but it is a 20 minute walk into the town of Stresa. That is fine for most, but if you have any walking restrictions it is a little difficult. The walk along the lake is beautiful though and you can catch a ferry at end of the road. Very close. So for most I would say location is very good.

Great location away from the crowds but conveniently close to ferries to the Borromean Islands. A verdant oasis. The hotel is charmingly old fashioned.; The staff, friendly and excellent.

The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the port terminal providing access to the Borromean Islands. Another terminal is in Stresa, about a 20-minute walk along the scenic lakeside promenade (assuming you are visiting primarily for the Borromean Islands).The room is very nice, featuring a balcony with a table and two chairs. It also includes a refrigerator.The bathroom is fully equipped with all necessary toiletries.Breakfast is varied, delicious, and includes freshly prepared coffee of your choice. You can also reserve dinner if you wish.Free parking is available directly in front of the hotel.The staff — from receptionists to bartenders and waiters — are very helpful and friendly.

A kettle in the room would be a nice touch.

Wonderful location, staff were great. It's a charming,.older, family run hotel so a nice change from corporate hotels in the USA. Close to the ferries for the islands.

Beds were very, very firm

The location is nice, close to a boat stop and the panoramic walk along the lake. It’s about a 20 minute walk to downtown Stresa but a more tranquil location.

The rooms were a bit warm for our tastes. But probably we just didn’t know how to use the thermostat.

Very clean and very close to the lake! Very friendly and helpful staff!! The view on the rooftop is breathtaking !
