Hotel Flora

Located in Streza, wonderful little town, close to all amenities. The accommodation meets the expectations. The room was clean and comfort. The breakfast is buffet and various. Private parking. Staff are friendly.

The breakfast was excellent The staff were all excellent and extremely helpful.

The rooms were tired and we had a funny smell.The hot water only was available in the mornings, at all other times it was either cold or lukewarm warm.The beds were a little lumpy and could do with turning end on end.At over £200 a night this was not good value. We were a 1.5 miles out of the centre and restaurants.

A week at Hotel Flora was a great holiday experience for us. The room was spacious, very clean, with enough power outlets and speedy internet. Fantastic view from the balcony, huge bathroom. Special thank you to the staff of the hotel, both reception, restaurant and cleaning lady, they did a great job with a smile, and we always felt welcome.Fabulous breakfast, with great variety of food choices for everyone. Attentive and helping personeel at the breakfast. Parking area with free parking was a great addition to the stay. Proximity to the lake, and the city center just 20 min walk. Exceptional facilities for people with disabilities - we stayed in the room fully equipped for stay of such guests, and the infrastructure of the room and the bathroom, and , the view from the balcony was top class. Pool area which belongs to the hotel was also well maintained, clean, and free to use for guests of the hotel.

Nothing related to the hotel. I wish there was a "do not disturb/ clean my room" paper indicator available to be used for the guests, which would neglect confusion for cleaning in the morning. Some guests like to sleep in more on vacation, and this would help them not to wake up from cleaning services when not needed.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and the lake view was lovely. Breakfast was good.

The step to enter the bathroom can cause a fall. The tub/shower is not safe either

Close to the lake and center, with free onsite parking. Very good breakfast with wide range of foods, good coffee. Comfortable, nice and clean bathroom with free toileteries. Kind staff. Good price for value. Tbis hotel was a perfect choice for our stay.

We couldn't manage the heater in the room, so it was a bit warm, but it wasn't a big problem for us. If you are a light sleeper consider using earplugs as some of the rooms looks to the main road.

Very noisy due to the traffic. Need to open windows for fresh air, as air-conditioning was not turned on.

Management should be very proud of their friendly staff. Bea at reception was so welcoming and arranged for an early check in which was extremely appreciated after a 13 hour flight from Hong Kong and a 1 hour bus ride from Malpensa. A lovely super efficient Brazilian woman made our times in the dining room very happy. All staff were great but these two made our stay extremely pleasant. As others have written the breakfast alone was worth staying for… outstanding!! The room and bed was very comfortable and kept at just the right temperature. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay.

Great welcome, lovely room with fantastic views over to the islands, good bathroom, bed was comfortable - but not to my liking for comfort as it had a memory foam mattress- which doesn't suit heavy people like myself. Excellent breakfast and friendly knowledgeable staff.

Some of the other guests - a large german group were very noisy going to and from their rooms.

We paid extra for a room with mountain view, but we could only see the carpark and trees. We went to reception to request a room with a better view, but they said we would have to pay extra for this!

Breakfast selection was excellent, nice balcony, quiet room we didn't hear the traffic.

Wished to have a kettle in the room or possibility to get some hot drinks in the lobby.The mattresses were not comfy and a little short.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. Especially the reception staff.

It’s an old property. It’s needs a little updating. Not too close to the center. You need a full length mirror aside from the one in the closet.

We were moved to LaLuna nel Porto as hotel flora had to close earlier. We were given a suite which was simply stunning

our lake view room had a peek-a-boo view due to a large tree across from it. Additionally, the room was very narrow with very little space to move around especially when the closet door was open. the terrace off the room was lovely—too bad it rained most of the days ?

Public transport to Stresa difficult but excellent taxi service
