Limen Wellness Hotel & Spa

Area was close to Cefalu and seemed newer. Staff was friendly enough and massages were good. And the front desk clerk discounted a charge to use the spa which a) we were not informed of ahead of time and b) I expected would be covered if you stayed in hotel and booked a massage.

Invest in new pillows. They are seriously like rocks. And add 3” foam toppers for the mattress? Our backs were so sore in the morning. And work on the menu in the restaurant as the food was not good.

Very modern, clean, spacious rooms

No gym, spa not available for kids and we booked this hotel for swimming with our child. We were offered exceptional access during day time to be able to access with kid, however timing was really inconvenient and we didn't use the spa.Breakfast cold and didn't really impress. Access to the room goes via open air floor which is good summertime but inconvenient winter time. You need a jacket to access reception

Large rooms

There was no hot water in one of our rooms. For a wellness hotel, this is not acceptable. When we have reported this in the evening they have said “let the water run for 5-6 minutes and it will be fine”. But it did not worked. In the morning when we have complained about that, the only word they have said was a little “sorry”. The breakfast is very limited as well.

The room for four was a bit cramped for four people, so it’s better to book two separate rooms.

Spa was really nice

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel was actually on a motorway and we misrepresented it as much as it was nowhere near the beach. There was no shop to the beach. Also I thought it was really bad that the order to just use the spa facilities he had to pay extra that wasn’t made clear on the property when we booked it.

There is a head waiter moaning and running around and another guy which was rude .and to use the spa 35 euro is a rip off and should be included with that price

Everything very well designed, great decor, Netflix in room, great bar, pool area lovely and relaxing. Big comfortable rooms and quiet.

Breakfast was not good, couldn’t provide me anything lactose free and no gluten free options either. Also the spa was extremely expensive to use, more than a Swiss alpine resort!

Poor design of pool, doesn’t catch much sun, very cold needs to be heated. Breakfast was average, coffee appalling & the cordial for juice was awlful.

Fresh and clean, felt like it was newly built. The pool and garden was relaxing. Very quiet and we slept well. Spa was nice.

The breakfast was mainly sweet desserts like sugary croissants and cake. The location is good for daytrips if you have a car but its situated right by a big road, so you wont go on any nice walks in the area.

Bad location: you need a car for going to the beach and restaurants (except a single one in a nearby resort). The room was beautifully designed but uncomfortable: no place to put the toothbrush and the soap etc.

Only thing that needs to be added is laundry service or provide a washing line in the bathroom.

Lot of noise from the football field in the middle of the night 23-02:00am. The restaurant was extremely limited- there was also a hair in my order. This is quite a no go keeping in mind that there are no restaurants and supermarkets close to the hotel. Breakfast was decent but the coffee was from a machine which is extremely low quality for the price of the hotel. If you are traveling without a car - I would not recommend to go to this hotel as it’s barely connected. You even need a taxi to get to the beach or trainstation because of the busy motorway next to the hotel. Quiet a small pool considering it’s a wellness hotel. The restaurant/bar stuff was quite grumpy.

Great place to come and relax by the pool. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Bit of a hassle to get to the next town to get dinner or see things. Small things that didn’t work right in the room, like a hook in the bathroom and the lock in the door was tricky.

This hotel might be close to the sea but it is much closer to an industrial area, directly on a passing road. No charm. Industrial basic breakfast. Price is ok though.

The location was a bit far from shops, nice restaurants & other beaches. With a car it's not a problem.
