    Pros +

    • Most rooms are huge, with a nice balcony with nice country views. That hotel is a staple for a lonely business traveler who seeks room at the very last minute, as it always has availability and it is decent, on a relatively fair (...could be 5-10 EUR cheaper due to the shabby furniture)...
    • Huge, comfortable rooms, very good (but old) shower facilities,
    • The room was huge and the balcony was great, facing the nearby woods and being very tranquille.

    Cons -

    • Furniture in most rooms is quite old and shabby, yet clean and in acceptable condition.
    • Bathing towels should be bigger, Radiators should be more (although they are enough, its only one per room, takes some time to heat up...)
    • Overall, the furnishings of the hotel, though clean and well maintained, are really old and shabby...

Big room with a sofa and a comfortable chair. Slept well on the comfortable bed.

It was very noisy at the reception area. There were several tables with people playing cards and speaking loudly. It was hard to hear what the receptionists were saying.

    7NoahPosted on: 8-31-2023

Price was good, room was clean and had a tv. The beds are adjustable in hight and you can raise your backrest and feet. Kind of weird for an hotel but proved to be useful.

Building is old and the hallways have stained carpets. The staff doesn't speak good English. When checking in we didn't receive any details about the stay and breakfast etc.

    8PaulPosted on: 8-17-2023

The room was huge, with a good shower and ok view's from the balcony.

Wasn't that clean, wrong room given to start with but changed eventually.Receptionist wasn't that helpful not really wanting to change room as hotel was busy. Twin room booked but given a double, didn't seem to get that wanted separate beds.

    Large rooms

Messy, not cosies, dark rooms. We had booked two rooms. One room had trash left in the trash can, door didn't lock, another room had a dirty sink, stained carpet, cold..The hotel was very full because of nearby events, maybe there was no time to clean up. But value for money disappointed us

easy to find with more than enough free parking. easy to check in and very friendly staff.

there was a small kitchen in the room but no cutlery or plates.

    6VanhoutteghemPosted on: 5-23-2023

Personal was very friendly and the rooms are spacious.Located in a more quiet and peaceful area.

Its an old building, there are no extra facilities available. The rooms are dated and the cleaning could be better.

Absolutely nothing. Even though the village is cute and peaceful! Oh and the room was warm enough!

Every singke thing!Extremely expensive. Very disapointing value for money. Cripy place. Old. Dirty. Avsolutely empty (no wonder why..). Uncomfortable beds. Aweful decoration. Broken things. Unprofessional staff treament.

Something went wrong with the booking/reservation and it was nicely corrected by upgrading us to the brand new 'snoopy room'. A spatious room in snoopy style :-) With everything on it, even a kitchen. The bed was wonderful, so was the breakfast and the location was marvellous! Highly recommended.

    7LisaPosted on: 9-7-2022

The room as well as the balcony were super spacious and the staff friendly and helpful

As many others have pointed out, the furniture of the room was quite dated. It is a hotel pretty much geared towards elderly tourists on bus trips (it seemed), so it was quite a hustle and bustle until late and again early in the morning, so we avoided the crowds.

Reception open anytime, ....but that's it ....

Big issue with cleanness, not only a punctual problem, but the accumulation of limestone and tartar in the toilet, shower and in the washbasin is completely UNACCEPTABLE, and referring to the amount of it, this is going on for months ...

    1MohmedPosted on: 8-14-2022

    never again

the rooms were dated, no air con, very expensive, staff walked into our room without knocking and it wasnt even check out time..

    8TimPosted on: 8-1-2022

    clean, spacious and comfortable rooms.

Style of decor, kind of oldfashioned but obviously not a big problem :) Everything was ok for our 1 night stay!!

    5Risingsun76Posted on: 7-25-2022

Spacious room with 2 doubles, pizza place 30 meters away which was nice traveling with 2 young kids and arriving early evening

matras of 1 of the double beds (double bed but with 2 single beds) was not a matras but '4 sunbed matrases' on top of each other or that is what it looked like so each single bed looked like it was laid in, like a u shape. Meaning there was no support at all and was barely ok for 1 of the kids.Location is a bit of a downer with an abanded building out front and view from the back of the room was on street/square with pile of furniture and stock for the hotel. Not so nice. But again for the 1 night as a stop over. ok-isj

    Passable

No heat is on in June despite it was Quite cold in the evening. The hotel looks finished and as it is on the verge to close

great room and lovely accommodating staff (on arrival)busy place but a great stay overall

morning staff…. refused us water before we left on bikes during the heatwave. thankfully one of us was determined enough to convince them.certainly a policy and attitude that needs looking at. didn’t spoil a great stay.

Friendly staff, roomy room, good temperature, free parking, easy to find

    Outdated interior

Everything. The hotel is set in a beautiful place. Lovely space around to walk through very friendly people. Staff at the hotel was great ? the hotel room wow. It was a massive space very clean and well set out. The view from the balcony was stunning too. Ide recommended anyone to try this place and I most certainly will be going back.

I cant really say anything bad about the place.
