Rooms and hallways need a revamp, carpets are not very healthy and the shower needs renovation to avoid flooding the bathroom after bath

Place was large, full of marble and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking on site. Cleaning staff everywhere. Room was clean and quiet.

No coffee maker or kettle in the room is a deal killer for me. I believe most people want some sort of caffeine before facing the world.Apparently no kettles of coffee makers in the hotel? May have been lost in translation.We booked a room with a double bed. Got to the room and there were two single beds. Back to the front desk and they gave us another room with a double bed - or so we thought. Two single beds pushed together. Played avoid the crack all night. The hotel was almost empty to make the best of it.We could not control the temperature in the room. First night was 25C. We asked the front desk to have it looked it. It appears someone did but the problem wasn't fixed.

Spacious clean room with excellent bathroom. Comfortable beds.

The parking and the side and rear of the outside building. It's run down in need of renovation.

Disappointed

We booked this for two nights thinking it was nearer to the national parks and as soon as we arrived we realised we had made a mistake and we asked to check out the next day and have the second night refunded. The management said they had to check with lisbon. When we checked out in the morning there was still no news from Lisbon but the front desk staff said not to worry they were sure it would be okay and we would get an email later that day. It took six days to get that email and they refused the refund. Very poor service. Not nice!!

Great view from room, great location too. Easy parking, excellent breakfast, very convenient for the Thermal Spa, lovely pool and a pool bar. Super friendly and helpful staff. Top marks for service.

Not the prettiest building but it is what it is, a modern hotel. It has everything you need to enjoy the local area.

We enjoyed the location, near the river and park, with easy access to the historical center. The room size is fair, and the bed is quite comfortable.The cleaning lady was extremely friendly, and also the staff at the reception.

The hotel seemed understaffed. We had the half board, and the first dinner was chaotic. During the other days was better. But also during breakfast, the refill was bot fast enough.The pool was nice but small. difficult to get a chair, but this is more or less norrnal.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are decently sized with working AC and decent bathroom.

Where to begin… the hotel is seriously understaffed.The amenities: No shower gel was available the first night, we didn’t complain because this is a 4 star hotel, you shouldn’t have to point stuff like this out. No slippers or bath robe were provided also even when asking for them. There is no toothbrushing kit.Water: A single bottle of water is given AND NOT REPLACED WHEN EMPTY, irregardless of how long you are staying or not and how many people went.Pool: The pool is seriously small, like comically small. I’d say the hotel has roughly 130 rooms, each allowing 2 adults and kids. Let’s say there are 2 people per room, a total of about 250. The pool area has a maximum capacity of 25 people (10x less) and the pool is honestly only good for about 8 people at a time (if that many can fit there comfortably)The breakfast: What is this? There is no breakfast tier… Everyone seems to have access, there is no entrance control, all the roughly 50 tables in the place were always dirty with previous guests plates. You have to ask staff to clean a table for you to seat! WTF! The juices are very shitty (tasted like those powder juices where you mix water and that’s it), the flavored water is just bad tap water, the food options were always the same the entire week. Fruit is thrown into a bowl, there are kiwi pieces still unpeeled, watermelon is the same, the mixed fruit salad is canned… a disappointment.The parking: Parking lot is also free, which is nice, but is a complete mess. Filled with potholes and just very run down really.Management needs to rethink everything. Having everything included in the price for everyone, just makes it shittier to everyone. Add paid tiers and channel money from them into the issues you have!Need to fix breakfast? Add a breakfast included option!Need to fix parking? Daily parking fee!The pool? There is so much unused space in the rooftop… You could fit 20 4px jacuzzis on top!Hire more people if only just for the summer ffs!
