Spa, the views, location easy to find & food excellent. We enjoyed a walk around property.

The shower panel leaked really bad and I tried to take a bath and the tub would not hold water.

The indoor and outdoor pools and gym were great, all the social rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable.

Breaksfast was not good, the orange juice was terrible and not natural, food and fruits did not appear fresh.The mattress was old and uncomfortable

The pool and the comfort of the rooms. The temperature was just perfect.

The price of the buffet was expensive considering the quality/variety of the food. I think it's too expensive to charge a four-year-old €15 considering that they barely eat.

Amazing location, all very clean, all amenities in the spa working well, great friendly and helpful staff, nothing disappointing... Also we received two vouchers for the couple to have a free drink or a short play experience in the casino - so nice!Now restaurant, we took the buffet dinner for the three of us. The two main hot dishes were exceptional (cod with cream and beef medallions with mushroom sauce). I am Portuguese and have had these typical Portuguese cuisine dishes many times, both were the very best. The meat was incredibly tasty, tender and cooked on point - wow! The breakfast next morning was very nice as one can expect from such a hotel, including a few typical Portuguese sweet and savoury pastries but nothing being prepared as you go as one find in other hotels (ex: pancakes, omelette, etc...)

Regarding the restaurant (buffet dinner) The starters (cold dishes) were desapointing unfortunately... Just looking at them some looked really old, prepared several days/weeks ago - Cut shriveled cherry tomatoes with small mozzarella balls, TERRIBLE meat croquette balls (bitter rancid) I had to spit them... This small piece of the menu was shocking bad and was really a turndown.Overall, very high standards with a very few extremely bad experiences. The best and worst I've experienced. They should pay attention to these few bad things that can have huge impact on the overall experience.

Set in an exquisite location, had a lovely family room, we arrived late after travelling a long way and had an amazing late dinner and clean room to stay in

Breakfast was limited on hot food

Beds were very firm they need a memory foam topper.

The staff is fantastic, all the attention to the details made the stay a wonderful stay - pack "Romantico" was great since even the detail of waiting my arrival to make fresh cocktails is amazing, the late checkout detail after a cozy and lovely breakfast on bed made all the difference. Free parking and charging for electric cars was also great. The pool and the facilities was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Big room with everything you need. Large shared spaces, made the stay a lot less crowdy. The live music until 1am on the bar makes the stay even more special, and if you feel "lucky" ;) the casino is right there.

The pool with some waterfalls or jets it will be wonderful. A bathtub with jets or jacuzzi on the room near or on the balcony could make the stay totally unforgettable.

The hotel facilities and food.

As a group of 8 staying for one night we were all asked to pay for the rooms on arrival and when we ate in the restaurant we asked for and paid the bill, then on leaving the manager asked to see proof we had paid. This made us all feel uneasy and not trustworthy. As the lack of other guests there made us wonder if the hotels in financial trouble.

The views from the hotel are breathtaking.The outside endless pool is lovely. Huge rooms. Lovely balcony.Great value roomsQuite like the concrete modern architecture.Little things, like the plugs to charge your phone are difficult to get to under the bedside table.

The staff appeared bored to serve us. The cost of food & drink is highJacuzzi, steam room & sauna were a bit yuk.The casino was sad

I'm not saying the breakfast was bad, but in a place with so many renown local products, I missed, for example, local breads.

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful grounds to walk around in. Good breakfast.

There was no tea tray in the room and when we asked for one we were told that the hotel did not supply them. A four star hotel? At least a coffee machine is a must. Same answer when I asked for disposable slippers... No dressing gown either.Then there was the problem with the SPA... What a sham. When we went down to reserve our massages (they have a massage menu of two pages) we were told that we would only be able to have A massage (and not the hot-stone one as the machine was not operational) the following evening. We were there for three days, so it would have been nice to have been told at reception on arrival that if we wanted a massage that we would have to book two days in advance or have booked a week or two beforehand. Very very disappointing. Bearing in mind that the hotel was virtually empty at the time.
