Very friendly staff

Excellent location, very clean and friendly owner and staff.

The room is very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. Plenty parking. Along the N2. Some kilometers from the town.

Always good when you revisit somewhere amd the staff remember you!! Only a short second d stay but lovely room and great value for money. The private parking was a bonus.

A brilliant value for money hotel. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was very good - always a good sign when so many locals are eating in the venue. Staff very friendly and helpful. And Chaves is a lovely wee town too!!

It has excellent staff and a very comfortable bedroom.There's a restaurant in the building with delicious food, which is handy when we don't want to go to the city centre.

A very well kept place and the owner is looking into that permanently, smaller type room but well organized with a huge built in closet taking care of everything, a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with plenty of hot water, breakfast is continental with some home made cakes and if you get the chance like I did,the owners mother prepares a fantastic cinnamon roll not baked but out of pasta, simply gorgeous

The parking and the hotel are connected by two narrow and steep staircases not ideal for older people especially when carrying a suitcase

Very nice hotel. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good size room. Bed comfortable. Wifi good. Parking behind hotel or in front carpark. Nice breakfast in morning.

Everything good

We have stayed here before and we enjoyed it. We arrived early this time but it wasn't a problem. Everyone is so helpful, making sure you have everything you need. You are encouraged to try different foods and they are rightly proud of their kitchen. We didn't go into the bar this time, we just stayed at our table.

Amazing breakfast! Fancy and comfortable rooms for an affordable price! Very friendly staff and close to the centre of the city! Perfect hotel to stay a few days in Chaves!

Modern family owned accommodation. Very nice staff and great breakfast and dinner. Plenty of parking, quiet and easy access from the national road. Clean.Very attractive pricing.

No lift but the receptionist kindly carried the bigger luggage upstairs. No bidet and coffee making facilities. A bit outside of town.

Situated just outside of Chavez and near the Spanish border, this is a perfect jumping-off point for journeys around northern Portugal, and seems to be a hub of activity around the town, especially the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely and had huge portions of regional cuisine. The staff is incredibly nice, and the proprietor is a genial host. Just a great slice of life in northern Portugal.

There are quite a few rooms in the corridor, and I could hear noise in the hall and from adjacent rooms. Ultimately, I slept well but, as is typical of the region, people don't go to bed until late!
