    Pros +

    • The staff here are out-of-this world! I have never stayed anywhere where the people were so happy and willing to assist you. The accommodation was spacious and clean. I would love to come back here someday.
    • Amazing place!Great staff, they took care of all of our needs from the first moment
    • The hotel staff were friendly and accommodated our requests with pleasure. The apartment had lovely historical features and was overall spacious enough (although no real lounge area when using the pull out sofa as a bed). The resort provides access to many areas including the gardens with seating, pool with incredible view, lounge room and breakfast terrace / restaurant. We had a great meal and fun there one of our evenings with a super friendly waiter. It is a very easy walk into town which has a local vibe and is beautiful to walk around. Parking garage was nearby and easy to access (note: free parking is the uncovered area to top (mostly full) and reasonable paid parking in the underground area below - 5 euro a day). Highly recommend this resort.

    Cons -

    • Parking is very tricky… GPS Does NOT take you to the right place…You need to park at the main parking area near the central church right near the gate of the old city and than walk from there for 3 minutes.Leave all your bags in the car, the hotel has a shuttle that will go down with you to the parking space and take your luggage
    • Shower didn't have much pressure and or get very hot but that didn't matter as much in height of summer.
    • the room being without window.

room wasn't the same as I chose in the photos of Booking app. The room was large enough and everything else was great, but there was no window in the room, it was very hard to sleep without a window.

    the room being without window.

The rooms were gorgeous, the view from room 3 was so beautiful. And frescos! We loved everything about the hotel-both receptionists, Raul- the guy who helped us with a luggage, breakfast which they made especially for us because of early leaving, interior. Thank you for a hospitality!?

    The spa zone is closed.

    3CindyPosted on: 4-15-2025

It's clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff person was lovely.

The website provided NO information about the required walk up steep slippery brick cobblestones to get ourselves and our luggage to the door. I slipped and injured my knee and will be sending a complaint to the Hilton Corp for their negligence. The hotel advertised a spa and we specifically booked this hotel because we wanted a spa. When we checked in the desk clerk told us the spa was closed for renovation. RECOMPENSE fir our complaint? Nope. Too bad was the response. Sorry. Final analysis? I'll never go back. I should have known. After all, it's a hilton.

Beautiful historical room, enchanting view of the Historic Center of Soriano nel Cimino, and Castello Orsini

This is our third time at Palazzo catalani and we always enjoy it. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff is excellent. It is a great value for the price. We came to Soriano for the chestnut festival and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My only complaint is that the showers could be a little larger. Also, could the hills perhaps be made a bit less steep (joke)? Seriously, we love Soriano and the Palazzo.

We love coming to visit Soriano nel Cimino and staying at this hotel. The views are amazing and the staff is very nice.

The location is stunning and the apartment was nice and spacious and well appointed with a great view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit and despite the water issue, we'll definitely be back.

We had no hot water in our apartment for the entire stay despite numerous attempts by the local maintenance staff to remedy the situation. Thankfully the apartment next door was vacant and we were able to use the shower there. Whilst not ideal, it eased the situation. Apart from the issue with the water, the resort and location is 10/10.

Spectacular view of the castle and whole city. Very friendly staff, they help you find a free parking spot in the city and drive you and your luggage with their car to the hotel. Hotel is very close to the central piazza. We arrived late for breakfast and still got served by a very friendly lady.

Not accessible for people with disabilities. A lot of stairs and no elevator but the staff brings your luggage to the room.

Wonderful hotel, the bed was very comfortable, the room was very big. We got the one with kitchen and full refrigerator The location is amazing. The parking ?️ is easy. They don’t explain very well but just need to get one block from the hotel and find a spot to park or park on double row and leave one person in the car, walk to the hotel and Raul will help you with his little car, he will take you to the parking and bring your belongings to the hotel. Breakfast was great

    10LovePosted on: 8-2-2024

The breakfast was great with friendly staff & the location a little bit tired when have to go up the hill to the hotel but overall we very happy. All the staff are excellent & room superb/ clean. ? ?

Lovely little garden, nice room, well-done renovation, friendly folks!

The only small drawback was that the Wifi didn't reach my room (it was the one on the garden level) but as soon as I stepped out into the garden it was fine, so it didn't really matter in the end!

    Ants, lift not working

The staff was friendly and helpful. Size of the room and view is stunning !

Breakfast variety was poor and you have to pay extra for eggs which is weird

    10MargaretaPosted on: 5-3-2024

Everything, the town, the location, the view. We got the suite with view to the castle, with everything you need and a lot of space. The beds are very confortable. A small lovely terrace to have breakfast. Best value for money. Picture perfect.

Staff is very friendy (both reception as well as breakfast and restaurant), appartment clean (cutlery not spotclean though, had to wash before using due to crumbs), appartment size great, view too. Kitchenette is very well organized and had kettle, coffee machine, toaster and other appliances which can be very useful, as well as enough glasses, plates, pots etc, very handy if you want to dine in during your stay. They also provide dish soap, tea towels and sponges, which is not always the case and was highly appreciated.

Parking is not super easy depending on day of the week and time of day, but staff will help you carry suitcases from the parking down the road if needed (before 7pm). Breakfast needs improvement on the savoury side of things. There were lots of cakes, biscuits etc which were tasty and really nice, but the only bread available was industrial slices of toast bread, and there were only low quality ham and cheese and boiled eggs. Would suggest to add options such as omelettes/scrambled eggs (maybe on request so you don't have a lot of leftovers if that's the reason why they do not provide them), and also add tomatoes, other cured meats and different cheeses.

Marvellous location in traditional village. Plenty to sightsee nearby. Good hotel restaurant

Be aware of the incredibly steep entrance to the hotel. You cannot drive to the door. Your car is parked elsewhere for free. It is very good exercise!!
