    Pros +

    • The location was great... in walking distance of the beach and the town center.
    • Breakfast was good and great location ONLY!
    • Nice view over the lake to sit and eat from the restaurant. Plenty of orange juice/coffee.

    Cons -

    • The hotel says it has charging stations available for guest vehicles. They are however outside of the parking area, so the first night we payed for both parking and charging... which cost just under 100€ total. The charging station is marked as charging per kw for the first 12 hours and then by the minute after that... signed the hotel direction. We were charged by the minute from the start... a difference of about 60€. The hotel staff was unable to help with this confusion. The hotel restaurant was also "fully booked" on the evening of our arrival (even though there were only three of around 10 tables occupied at 8pm) so we were referred to the restaurant across the street which also refused to seat us because we only wanted a drink and some small plates to share. Then, on Monday noon, we were once again informed that it was not possible to eat at the restaurant in the hotel as it was closed... would have been useful to know beforehand as my partner was telecommuting for the day, so the only two times we attempted to eat at the restaurant, we were refused.
    • First there is no air conditioning in the room, second the room was very dirty, floor had stains on it and bathrrom tub was dirty. Next lack of parking and price of parking. Also they didn't make the beds or change the towels and we had to complain and they didn't even apologise. When we asked for clean towels they gave us dirty stained towels. Staff unfriendly!!!
    • Very limited choice. No hot breakfast available on the 2nd morning.

    The spa was fantastic

Small rooms, very quiet now summer is over

    7TobiasPosted on: 10-16-2024

The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Hotel is very well located, direct access to the Plague du Parc. Shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

    Nothing to complain about.

    Fine

We came in on the 2nd day quickly to pick up something and the cleaning team were in our room. We asked for them to give us 5 minutes and we would be leaving again. The literally changed our floor mat in the bathroom and never came back to our room to make our bed . We came back that night to no bed made !!!

    Location

Small room, nousy and lack of cleanness.... shower gel absent and few tissue paper... tiles broken in bathroom... not the standards we hoped.

    7JustinePosted on: 9-3-2024

Nice location and nice place renovated rooms and a fantastic spa you can access !

The room we had with a street view was very small with no air conditioning and it was hot in summer time. We had a last minute price at 90 euros but it should never be more for those type of very small rooms.

    Good breakfast, superb dinner.

Insufficient sunbeds. Wry bleak bar and restaurant.

    5DavidPosted on: 8-21-2024

    Good location, good breakfast

The room was not as expected, small, dingy, no aircon and not really worth the price paid. The bed was very uncomfortable and windows so dirty you couldn’t see out of them although there was no view anyway.

The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Location was perfect.

No parking provided and only one of the four rooms booked has air conditioning

Good central location. Good value. Great staff.

    5RossPosted on: 8-20-2024

Location is excellent, room was nice, quite small though.

I was not informed that I had to book parking in advance, which is crazy seeing as almost everyone drives to Hossegor. I had to park on the street, even though there was space in the hotel carpark on my first night. When I went back to inquire about this at 11pm, there was nobody on duty at reception. Staff were quite rude and dismissive at check in on Friday evening. However on Saturday morning, the new receptionist was lovely & she was able to arrange parking pass for me in minutes. I think the charge of €10 per day to park is crazy.

The hotel is well located by the lake and close to the centre of town.It looks nice from outside (hence our choice on Booking.com), the problem is inside ...

The cleanness in general.Certain parts of the rooms were really dirty. One example, the fans on the ceiling were so full of dust that when turned on, they would spread dust all over the room. We complained to the reception and asked our fan to be cleaned, it was not.Certain common spaces - corridors, stairs - were dirty and really bad looking, worse than the corridors of teenagers dormitories. On day one (we spent 4 nights), the stairs close to our room were full of sand from the beach. On day 4, it was still the same, no one had cleaned it.

The location and parking make this hotel a steal. The front desk ladies were very kind and helpful with my question.

    4DavidPosted on: 8-8-2024

The location is great very central between the lake and the beach and the city.

The stuff is nothing but helpful with a bit of arrogance. The hotel is far from being clean.Very basic room consult for hotel that price itself as a premium.

The location, staff and the views

The air conditioning could have been better

    6HeatherPosted on: 8-1-2024

Fantastic location and nice staff. Beautiful dècor in restaurant area.

Over 200 Euros per night for what turned out to be a very small, basic room without air conditioning. I am used to checking AC at cheaper price points but you expect it at that price so that really wasn’t acceptable. I saw more appropriate prices were being charged nearer to the time of my stay but I was locked in. This price should never have been advertised as it not in keeping with the guest experience.

Good location. Had a pleasant view from our room.

Looking for parking. Limited parking space available.
