Pros +
- Location was the only good thing in this place.
- Upgraded to lakeview
- Stunning location, staff were very friendly
Cons -
- Noise, no sound insulation at all. Place smelled of some chemicals on entering, toilet door needs to be pulled to close. This hotel needs maintenance in every area. Breakfast was ordinary but ok for the price.
- NO MILK, either in the room or available at breakfast
- Rooms need major investment. We had to vacate one room due to the room becoming flooded from the shower and subsequent awful sewer smellStaff responded quickly and moved our room but disappointed we did get a gesture of Goodwill compensation even if a small amount given how much we paid for two days for two rooms

The view is truly amazing!
The facilities do need a really good clean up and the whole places needs to be repainted. It looks like it hasn’t been taken care of for a while, which is quite said, since the view is stunning.
Good location and nice staff
Floor could be cleaner. Parking was 30€ every night which is crazy.
Location and friendly staff
Room was very small and not well thought out
Great location. Clean. Very obliging staff. Wifi not available in room.

I was on the ground level the first night, that opened up to the lake. It was beautiful and very tranquil, but seemed an older room with less attention given to it. I then moved upstairs to a room with a view to the street and it was much better, with the quality of a hotel room including the little perks such as a kettle and the little soaps that the first room didn’t seem to have. I actually like the view on to the street, especially during the storms, opening the giant windows to listen to the rain. The staff were so helpful, and very kind!
As mentioned I had booked last minute so maybe the room detail was missed, but when I moved upstairs it was a different vibe all together.
Staff Room quite expensive vs the quality.
Very nice view but at the lake level ==> anyone could look into our room
Great location
Extremely tired and outdated. More like a hostel than a hotel
Nice staff, helpful and friendly. Lake view was good from one room, not the other. Great location.
We asked for rooms close together but it wasn’t possible; we asked for parking and it was fully booked (though we parked OK nearby). Our room was small and quite damp, the drains didn’t work and the bathroom flooded when using the shower (#25) and the walls were paper thin. Hotel shared an online booking form but didn’t seem to work - the wellness centre is currently being renovated for example.

View was lovely and reserved parking very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful..
There were ants in the room. The TV didn't work. There was only one teabag and one coffee for each of us during a two night stay. The breakfast was okay. Despite asking for the room not to be cleaned people had been in and cleaned it and given us new towels. Small things really. Despite these things we did have a lovely stay!

Good
Lots of noise in the evening and morning above us - it sounded like people were moving furniture!

Good location.
We had just done a 14 hour drive and were looking forward to the rest in a nice place.A small room which isn't the end of the world but it was not clean. The toilet had been used, cups and saucers with sugar spilled, tea coffee not replenished, bed runner marked, no pillow protectors under pillow cases. Mattress protector present. The room was poor quality overall, the bed very hard and uncomfortable, it was very noisy all night with the drainpipe from the room above going through our bathroom so every time upstairs used the bathroom it ran noisily through our room, there is another drainpipe of sorts coming past the aircon unit that trickled all night. The room and hotel is in a poor state of repair overall, the bathroom mirror rusted, walls, doors etc in need of work, it is expensive and definitely not worth the money. The room window has a great view but a very busy public footpath immediately next to it, (within touching distance, we had a dog put its head through the blue bars) it's a well used walk, there are only see through voiles at the window, to get privacy you have to close the shutters on the outside and when we tried to close the shutters it was difficult, we had to move them over large plants. Yes it's a lake view room but that's where it stops, it needs mentioned that there is the footpath right outside the window. Communal garden area very run down. If this was half the price I'd still write the same review. I definitely won't return and I don't recommend it.
