Hotel Voramar

We had 2 meals included and we were really happy about it, there was a good food selection and everything was tasty. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

There was a sewage smell in the bathroom

Clean, close to the beach, affordable

The location is good, close to everything you need. Beach, stores, restaurants, bars, .. Rooms are nice. Good beds, rain showers and a refrigerator are standard. The staff is super friendly.

Food could be better. Choice is quite limited. Okay for a few days though.

The hotel its in an excellent location, the staff was professional and kind. You can get an oceanfront view since it is right in front of the beach. The bathroom needs renovation, some things in the room did not worked at all. The other thing to be aware of is, that you can hear everything on the room, the person next door coughing and of course in the morning when they start cleaning the rooms is like having a neighboor moving. If you want to fully relax and sleep late this might be a problem.

I did not liked the bathroom of this hotel, it is old fashion and has poor light

The location and the sea view

When i arrived I was offered a room almost without daylight. I did not accept that room, and for an extra payment I was offered a very nice room. So in the end all good, but the room I saw first should not never be used.

Ideal location of the hotel near the beach. There is sound insulation, when the windows and doors to the balcony are closed, the room is quiet. Good breakfast, food choices change every morning.It was my friend's birthday, in the evening we found a bottle of wine, two glasses and a greeting card from the hotel in the room. It was very nice.The district in which the hotel is located is oriented towards Germans, everything is mainly in German or Spanish. Almost no one speaks English.

Please wash the floor in the morning when cleaning. Since sand often remains on your shoes when you come from the beach, after cleaning, the sand remains on the floor near the front door. Almost no one speaks English in the hotel.The coffee for breakfast is not very tasty.

The view was the best thing there

The service at the hotel bar was so bad you may order a drink to the room three times with no response, maybe they don't understand English or german

Close to the beach , staff is very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again

I liked everything

Just next to the beach.

The bathroom was very filthy when we arrived (the toilet that said to be sterilized had feces in it and all over it). We were moved to another, much smaller, room which was still very dirty having human hair all over the place (on the floor, in bed, on the walls). The first night the clima didn't work, so we had to open the window. It was very hot and we were eaten by mosquitos. The hotel staff wasn't very empathetic for our problem. We wanted to leave the hotel and requested the refund for the remaining three nights, but they said they would refund us only half price, so we decided to stay in order not to loose money. They ''fixed'' the clima but I think the thermostat was broken, because it was freezing or not working at all, these were the only two options. It was also so loud and blowing directly into heads that it was impossible to sleep in the room. The room remained dirty for all our stay, the toilet was leaking all the time and you couldn't close the bathroom door, since it didn't fit to the wall. The hotel staff even lied to booking that they have addressed our complaints with a complimentary upgrade of the room??!! I don't know nothing about that, since we were in the same room for all four nights. A really bad experience for us! Especially since we paid 170 eur per night, which is not that symbolic. There is no parking available, so you spend at least half hour every time to find a car park. Breakfast could be better.

The location of this hotel was excellent as it was right opposite the beach. Our rooms were cleaned every day and we were supplied with fresh towels. Especially liked the fact that we could hire umbrella, beach towels and air beds for a small fee.

The hotel is dated and there were only two sockets in our room. You had to pay extra if you wanted to use the fridge or the safe. This hotel does not have its own pool but you can use the pool in a hotel about four blocks away ( Don Juan) with no problem at all.

The location is very good. The hotel is on the beach. We can pay with a room card in all hotel

90 % of staff don't talk english. Small food option what is very similair everyday.

The location was great. Right next to the beach and around a shopping and restaurant area

Amenities. Wifi did not work. TV did not work. Very thin walls so very noisy. The light on the balcony would stay on until 11:30 and you cannot switch it off if you want to sleep. Food was ordinary in the hotel for breakfast and dinner. The hotel staff was barely cordial, a few of them even very rude. No sense of hospitality. Not visiting this hotel again.

Excellent location, right at the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants around. The sea facing rooms are worth a stay.

Food options specifically for dinner at the restaurant could have been better.

Seafront location

Food was dreadful, staff weren't friendly or helpful. Wouldn't recommend for English people. Expensive for all it was. Room was small and cramped, air conditioning didn't work very well, dreadful smell coming from our bathroom.

Really good location, near the beach, clean, light room, with a great view to the sea. The staff was very friendly and help with any problem. The food was delicious and varied, and fresh.

Old furnitured room, we have to pay extra for the fridge in the room, and for the safe box. The everyday cleaning didn't including the floor cleaning, just the other things like the towel changes, the basement empties etc. For one week staying it was need to clean the floor.

Sea view

Insufficient cleanliness: no ventilation in the bathroom; change of towels was often forgotten or incomplete; no change/refill of handsoap (in spite of having left a note); bundles of hair next to the bed and under the bathroom door...Unprofessional staff: the spoken language (other than Spanish obviously) was mostly German...; one of the waiters almost treated us as thieves for a mistake of his (than confirmed from reception), didn't say he was sorry and never greeted us again until the end of our trip; two of the receptionists were disrespectful to us and sneered at our back...

We liked location.

Extra charges for primary commodities (fridge, towels). The only good thing was location. The room was pretty bad, dark, old and bad noise isolation (from outside and inside halls). The window is there just to be (not useable because the view was neighbors kitchen or apartment entrance). Price performance is 3/10. The staff barely noticed us being there.
