    Pros +

    • Lovely view overlooking the sea. Centrally located. Lovely staff
    • Good breakfastGood service
    • This is our second visit to this lovely hotel. Lovely gardens, pool and area spotless. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Easy stroll into Cala Bona.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Cons -

    • Although there were often free sun beds, people who put out towels in the morning and still didn’t arrive until mid afternoon.
    • Too noisy with weird music around the pool. We asked to lower or stop the sounds for better relaxation but the person said he had to put music bc it is the policy of the hotel!
    • Area has been built specifically for tourism; outside the hotel it did seem very tacky. Beds are a bit hard, and we had issues with our air conditioning which made sleep difficult.

Lovely adult only hotel. Good sized rooms & nice pools. Welcoming staff. Good breakfast spread & bar menu.

Great location, clean rooms, nice pool area

Beautiful seafront location, well positioned for Cala Millor and Cala Bona. Breakfast is okay, with pleasant staff, but the hotel is really an annex of Marins Playa and you can enjoy a wider selection of breakfast in the restaurant there. Dinner is not available at Marins Suites.

Reception facilities only available at Marins Playa, as are other facilities apart from the pool. You have to check in and out at Marins Playa. Description on hotel’s website does not make it clear what is available at each location. Rooms at ground floor level are noisy and have no privacy only a curtain on windows, so you have either darkness or no privacy from the people sat at the bar or pool area. Wifi did not work in my room. Despite receptionist coming to room and agreeing it did not work, we went through a ridiculous charade of reception saying every day that it would be fixed that day. It never was, they just ignore you. Reception covers both hotels and is very busy with long queues at times. Some reception staff are rude. Booking dot com tried their upmost to liaise with the hotel regarding problems, but hotel was reported as being uncooperative. I wanted to leave the hotel and to book somewhere else, but as the hotel would not speak with booking dot com, it could not be arranged. As a solution, the hotel offered me a move to Marins Playa, where they told me they had over 250 children staying! I had booked what I expected to be a peaceful adults only hotel, so that was not an option. Room was not checked before check in. Various maintenance issues. Although they were dealt with, in a 4 star hotel, you expect the room to be satisfactory on arrival.I asked to discuss the issues with the hotel manager, but was told it was not possible as they don’t speak English. They did not apologise for any of this.

Everthing. I love this hotel, it is comfortable, cosy, calm, luxury and I can relax here the way I want. The sraff is friendly and helpful. I knew them from last year already. Désirée did the service at the pool bar. She is so kind. The breakfast is incredible and has a wide range of choice. I like it very much. I will come back next year, the reservation is already done.

The fact, that you only get one towel for the pool area, I do not understand. I asked for a second towel and the chambermaid said: one guest, one towel. So, I was there four days at the pool and got one towel. That's a pity. Especially when you have a balinese bed and you have to pay for it or consume at the pool bar, what is absolutely ok, but for these sunbeds one towel is definetely not enough. Sorry!

The hotel exceeded expectations, it could really charge more money. The rooms are spacious, clean and the food and drink is very well priced. The pool areais spotless and the terrace bar above the main hotel is a hidden gem with great views. It’s really well located for access to Cala Millor and Cala Bona. As a wheelchair user, I could take full advantage of the wet room and nowhere was off limits. I would recommend this hotel to all the Wheelchair users as the area was accessible as well, especially the promenade.

    Location and pools

Breakfast, lack of sun beds, reception was in another hotel, beds very uncomfortable

    10IanPosted on: 7-10-2024

Great location between Calla Millor and Calla Bona, right on the coast. Excellent views looking out to the Sea. Large room with comfortable beds and very good shower.2 swimming pools and plenty of Sun beds, never had a problem getting a sun bed although the hotel was full. The Bali beds were a great optionStaff are very attentive and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Only a couple of minor points. Hand Soap instead of a bar of soap would be better, in the bathroom. The evening dinner service could do with some cooking of dishes while you wait, so that they are hot, as the chef cooks fresh dishes and then leaves you to help yourself.

The food, the location, the staff, the pool and the fact that they give you the towels for the pool is a real bonus...the hotel is so so comfortable.

Love this hotel...food is fabulous but all the staff are so lovely and so helpful.

The adults only section is quite and the majority of guests were in their 60s plus. We are in our 50s and had young adults with us 19-21. We preferred the roof top at Marins Plays adults only area as they at least had music playing to hang out. our rooms were clean but very basic. the bathroom only has shampoo and conditioner product in one and body wash. No body cream or other toiletries. The beds are large but 2 singles put together. Shower pressure was good. Each room has its own deck. Breakfast is included. When we arrived we went straight to Marins adults only but there is no reception so you need to go to Marins Playa to check in first. No one sent any confirmation / information before our stay re arrival. When you go to pool at Marins Adults only you are told you cant sit on the cushioned beds without booking them. To book them you need to spend $25Euro to get tem for free. I was happy t do that as drinks are around $9-10 and snack food was around $13- 17, so reasonable. The lady who worked the pool area every afternoon/evening until close was so nice and accommodating.

They do not supply ice to add to your drinks in your room even if you wanted to pay for it. We could get bagged ice from store but were told not to use in drink. That sucked in a hot climate. They have a supermarket on property so they should sell bagged ice for room drinks. Our other family members rented the top floor Penthouse which was nice but they never had ice either. No conditioner in bathroom.

Great location and quiet. Good views over sea. Spacious Room. A free gift was put in room after initial problem! Electric card charge points.

Only issue we had was room hadn't been cleaned properly. Previous guests washing up was still in sink and some other bits missing. Sorted next day. No where to park when we arrived late due to flight.

Everything was fine and I was satisfied with the exception of what I wrote below! Another personal was friendly, breakfast is good, The hotel is very nice, clean and beautiful. But i had my wedding day and as I wrote, you need to remind and remind what you need.

My trip was for a wedding. 1) The check-in and check-in staff (woman who works in the evening 2 maj in 22 oclock, maiby 55-60 years + ) was who demanded my bank card and who was very angry and unfriendly and was not forthcoming in her explanations. I was tired after a long travel and I didn't like her tone of voice! She was very annoyed when I asked the question. I will never see this personal again. We was 4 person in our family and we dont like her and a job where she need communicates with people and invites to the hotel is definitely not suitable for her.?? 2) Our room was where the wedding video and photos were shot on May 5. I warned the reception many times that I need to clean the room as soon as possible because I will have a wedding and there will be photographers and videographers... BUT no one came and I was running around the hotel by myself around 12 oclock and ask who can come and clean/help in my room!! I looking for cleaners when the photographer and videographer already arrived in my room.!! This is very irresponsible! ???? 3) The bed was very uncomfortable, we had a SUITE room, we were also a wedding couple, there should have been a double bed for two, and we had TWO combined beds... These three things did not suit us. 4) We were 3 families, in three different rooms, and once the card was blocked in all of them, which made it impossible to enter the room, in all 3 rooms and in all characters at the same time. It was also not pleasant because everyone had to go to the reception desk and ask for the cards to be unzipped. In a hotel like this, this would be a lot, so I hope you will take it into account and make amends.

Choice of breakfast rooms , selection of pools , the adult only suites were perfect location with easy access to promenade . Staff polite and very helpful . Plenty of choice of food including the buffet of an evening which was very affordable

No beach towels provided .One French man lying naked beside the pool and in and out of the pool with no regard for other adult guests . And although I did report this on checking out there was no comment from the front desk apart from they had heard . Which I know a guest emailed them without a reply .

Big place, you get access to a lot of facilities, to the whole complex, very good food, clean place, great view, not noisy, close to the sea, easy access.

    10KevinPosted on: 3-5-2024

We were in the royal suite. We love the view and hot tub, also the amount of furniture so you can be comfortable no matter what you wanted to do.

The only thing was the robes as they are one size robes need bigger.

    Location and breakfast

Could not make the check-in at the hotel but in the one in front (no information at all), limited parking option even in March (parking full), heating pump very noisy

Staff were amazing and friendly... Everyone one went above and beyond to make our stay really special..

Food looked amazing but sadly was really bland.. We went for Halloween and the "terror tunnel" was exceptional you could tell the animation team had worked so hard and also seemed to have fun too... However it was too scary for the smaller children and there was little other entertainment for them... Which was a real shame... They were all dressed up with nothing to do... Just wish they had done a little mini disco or something for them for an hour.

Marins is a fantastic company and their hotels and facilities are some of the best in the area. The rooms are always clean and the Suites in particular are in a great location right on the sea front with a brilliant pool and bar area outside. There's lots of things to do - pools, spa, roof terrace, entertainment programme etc and even a supermarket on-site

While the Suites are marketed as a premium option, the rooms are smaller and less modern than those in the main hotel. The wardrobe space was limited, particularly as several shelves were taken up by optional duvets which weren't really needed in warm months and the hairdryer in the bathroom cut out quickly and regularly (same when I stayed before) could really use an upgrade. Would also be a great touch to have a bottle of water in the room, particularly as there are fridges and tea and coffee etc. The bath towels are also very small, I'd love a big comfortable towel, especially from a premium hotel.
