    Pros +

    • The hotel was absolutely superb. All the amenities fantastic and the staff were always available for all our needs. Breakfast was magnificent and lunch at the Solar Restaurant was excellent. The travel cart to and from the beach is an added plus! Truly a fantastic stay!
    • the beach and the swimming pool but the schedule of the swimming pool cannot be 730pm to close in a resort.
    • Our stay at the Pullman Almar hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly, the room we stayed in was extremely clean with a comfy bed and great amenities, the pool / pool bar and restaurant were great, and the short trip to the beach was well worth it for the free sun beds and gorgeous setting. The complimentary breakfast spread was also brilliant, with a range of foods / drinks of high quality to tick the box for everyone's needs.

    Cons -

    • The only disappointment was the Gineti Bistro located across from the Timi Ami beach. Food was fair at best. Service was very disappointing. Waiter displayed the wine and immediately started pouring it behind our table, without having me taste it prior or pouring each glass individually in front of us. In my 69 yrs of hotel travel I've never seen such a display of unprofessional behavior! Additionally, the waiter did not speak neither Spanish nor English, really? How this restaurant could even exist at such a magnificent hotel is beyond me. Too add to the misery, the terrace attracts too many mosquitos. As a suggestion have the mosquito candle repellents on prior prevent the uncomfortable feeling of being stung by mosquitos.
    • Lack of maintenance around areas, balcony with missing paint, slippery condition everywherebreakfast is fare, dinner is too expensive for quality you receive at the buffet, with that price you can have dinner out for 2 days and better quality food. besides they charge house wine in a half glass and charge you like a bottle price. every day the staff has a NO in all we asked or they did not know, umbrellas, chairs at the pool, even to buy an ice cream at the beach. the walk to the beach is around 15 min, they have breaks for the shuttle instead of having another driver for the guests.
    • The gym needs updating.

The hotel was great. Upon arrival they offered us a free upgrade to a lovely room. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were great, they were always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile (especially Valentina one of the pool bar staff)We opted for breakfast and dinner included (which I would recommend). Both buffets were beyond our expectations and the food was great.

    The gym needs updating.

Amazing Hotel! Modern, clean and spacious room. All staff are very helpful and really friendly and polite, always willing to help. Quality of food is very high, especially at the evening buffet dinner. Also plenty of evening entertainment e.g. live bands, DJs and shows. Hotel has a golf cart style transfer to the beach which takes only 2mins. Beautiful sandy beach and clear blue warm waters. Hotel has lots of beach beds for guests to use. Will definitely return again!

    Everything was perfect!

Pool is nice, beach is nice. Unfortunately, that's all

Staff is absolutely unprofessional, they dont understand basics of customer service. When you complain you don't even hear sorry, they just say that they are new or whatever. Also everything is overpriced (e.g. can of soda for 6 EUR near the pool, or 65 EUR for beach bed - once you pay 500 EUR for night it seems like and it is scam)

We loved absolutely everything about this resort. Beautiful beach, swimming pool, stylish rooms, professional and very friendly staff. What exceeded our expectations however, was the food (both breakfast and dinner). Amazing variety and very good quality.

It was a wonderful stay, lovely staff and impeccable service! Our boys loved the teen club thanks to Maria, Luca, Filippo, Alessandro and Sara!

    Beach, breakfast, dinner

Although our room was very nice we were given a disability room which we fortunately did not require so the toilet was very big for us.also the sofas around the pool bars were wet every night so our clothes got wet can we suggest a change of pads for the evening guests.

Fantastic location just an hours drive from Cagliari and a short 5 min drive from Villasimius. The best part is the beach - absolutely stunning with the clearest water I have ever seen. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms a very high standard and beautiful toiletries (including conditioner and body lotion)The swimming pool is large and the perfect temperature with super comfy sun loungers. (you can also head to the beach where there is a private sun lounger section for the hotel guests)Breakfast was plentiful - everything you could want including a fresh juice station and an egg station.Highlight were the staff - super friendly and incredibly helpfulTaxi from hotel to the nearest town is 15Euros - just make sure you book restaurants in the town as they filled up fast!

    Location, staff, rooms, facilities.

The price was slightly high and the exterior needs remodeling.

    6JenniferPosted on: 7-5-2024

We loved the included buffet breakfast, including juice bar and omelet station. We loved the golf cart ride down to the beach and the loungers. The prices were all very decent.

I wish we were told about all of the amenities at the hotel. We were told there was an indoor pool but they left out that it was at an extra cost. It was cold one of the days we were there and I would’ve been happy to spend $40 on a spa day to use the indoor pools and saunas, but reservations were out. The beds were not comfortable, the room far too hot. Lots of mosquitos.

Awesome hotel, with an outstanding location in terms of position and beach proximity. The beach is very accessible, sandy and the water depth is perfect for both children and adults due to its very gentle slope (you can walk 150ft in the water and still touch). For very windy days with rough sea, the hotel also features a large pool. Staff is exceptionally kind. Buffet breakfast was great in terms of quality and selection. Dinner at Ginepri restaurant was top notch, we tried lobster, sea brim, and most of pastas and appetizers, and were delighted. We also tried the buffet dinner twice, and we were pleased. Our 6yo loved the hotel, too. We will definitely try to visit again next year.

A small issue with room wifi swiftly addressed by the staff to our full satisfaction.

The resort was within walking distance from Porto Giunco Beach with it’s long stretch of white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters.Other beaches of south east Sardegna also within reach by car. (Cala Pira, Punta Molentis)The staff were super helpful, especially the entertainment and the girls at the agora towel hut. The food at the resort was too good. The buffets abundant and plentiful Room was clean and modern. They also offered a turndown service at night

    Nothing - it was perfect

unique location, the amazing beach and see

Downgrade from expected 5-Star Exclusive ResortWe've been visiting Timiama many times since 2015. The location is beautiful and perfect for a long weekend. We've always appreciated the unique location, the amazing beach and see, the quality of the food and the level of service.Unfortunately, this year things have changed despite the increase in price. While the rooms remain as good as ever, the beach now lacks enough beds due to recent local law restrictions. Guests have to wait under the sun for a while before getting one.The biggest disappointment, however, was the dinner. The food was mostly frozen, cooked to an average standard, and of low quality—nothing like what we had experienced in previous years. The restaurant staff, despite their efforts to be supportive and kind, were clearly not always fit for the job. Additionally, the wine list has deteriorated; instead of the five-star wines we were accustomed to, we were offered average, second-tier local wines at premium prices. If this had been a mass-market vacation hotel, it would have been acceptable. But for 600 euros per night, we expected at least the same level of quality as in previous years.I’m terribly sorry to write this review.I do love Timiama, but Timiama does have to keep on loving its customers

Super staff, great live band, beach magnificent, attractive garden

Breakfast good, but quality of a la carte could be better for high prices

    9YasamanPosted on: 6-11-2024

The resort itself, very friendly staff and the quality of hospitality

It was distant from any other main attraction points and other good beaches but the hotel had it’s private beach
