Hotel Cala Caterina - Relaxing Escape

It was clean, quiet, and well managed.

This is a five star hotel—The staff, the beach, the amenities. They provided slippers and flip-flops. It’s a beautiful location. The grounds are gorgeous. And the free breakfast was the biggest I’ve ever experienced.

I liked everything about the property.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, exceptional beach.

Breakfast ends too early (from 8 to 10am everyday of the week, even on sundays, which is a bummer during holidays). And the hotel was a bit pricey, even for August in Sardinia.

Loved the location, sky bar, staff super friendly, nice breakfast included.

Only complaint I have the room had a strong unpleasant odor.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Lovely hotel with pool and beach facilities and a perfect place to have some relaxation! Breakfast has great choice and dinner was delicious. Highly recommend.

Not a criticism but would have loved to have a car so could explore the area more as public transport is tricky.

A place of tranquillity and calm by the sea.

Breakfast we couldn't find the spooons for some time. Too many cakes.The Toaster was slow and difficult to use.

Food was good

€400 a night one expects No coffee or tea in room, had to ask for a kettle, go out and buy milk and coffee.No massage No shuttle into town No evident manager No Pilates or yoga No trips , boats etc

Excellent staff, particularly the helpful front desk. Closeness to the beach. Well maintained pool.

Maybe a little more flexibility with the food service hours.

Such a beautiful hotel, myself and husband became addicted to the peace and quiet. The beach which is sublime was a stones throw away, the pool was quiet and really clean! The rooms were beautiful with direct access to the garden, there was parking on the property which was a plus! A sincere thank you to Chiara at reception for amazing service through check in and check out and mostly Antonella who went above and beyond making our stay at the hotel that extra special! Can’t thank you both enough and can’t recommend the hotel enough a true gem hidden in Sardinia!

Brilliant amenities, perfect beach location.

Bat food was fine for lunch but saw that the fish was frozen which was massively disappointing. So didn’t try the restaurant. With such fresh produce in the area, I don’t know why they wouldn’t capitalise on that - then the hotel would be perfect.

Food is Ok, but there is a room for improvement.

We had an amazing honey moon in Cala Caterina, this place and all the staff is just amazing ! The view, the calm, the breakfast, the pool, everything was so perfect! Many thanks to Chiara for her kindness and great food tips !Yasmine

A lovely place to stay for a quiet break. I think its best to have you own transport. Private beach is OK/good but there are so many other beautiful beaches around.

Amazing staff, amazing hotel and facilities. Food was great and varied, combined with a perfect location couldnt ask for more. Particular thanks to Maurizio and Mario for making us feel so welcome!

Location, view, staff…..all First Class

The pool is too small and many times there was no room for all guest. However if I was the owner of Cala Caterina I would build the pool by the sea, near the beach, with a spectacular sea view, this way the hotel will become a 5 stars S.

It was a perfect place to regroup after a lot of travelling.It was quiet well organised and the staff always friendly and efficient.

I didn’t not like anything and I have travelled a lot.
