Little choise on breakfast buffetCoffee tasted quite badNext door room cleaning service started at 8;30 AM one day which could have been done later and not waking everyone in our room.
Very nice hotel near Villasimius. We had a garden room and it was lovely to sit outside during the day. Room was comfortable not though very big. Good shower and bathroom with good pressure and hot water. Lovely breakfast, with good variety of items and great coffee. The pool was also wonderful, and cleaned every morning. We didn’t eat at the onsite restaurant as recent reviews weren’t great. We would stay again only if they lowered the air conditioning temperature setting)
Air conditioning was set at 24 degrees by hotel system so room was always stuffy and too hot. We could open doors during the day to let in cooler airflow from outside, but at dusk and during the night the mosquitoes were so bad, and as there were no fly screens we had to keep doors closed. It was very uncomfortable. If there had been windows with flyscreens there would be no need to use the air conditioning as the air temperature outside was so much cooler. There were also no glasses in the room to drink from, we were offered little plastic cups from the breakfast area, not really good enough and sets a terrible environmental example.
Lovely room, like a little casita. Pool was great and the staff was so helpful and friendly!
A gorgeous hotel well located with a very scenic view. Very well maintained and clean. Lovely pool. Breakfast staff so friendly and helpful and kept the breakfast fully stocked.
The restaurant left a lot to be desired and price did not match the standard. Nothing with the pork so got the vegetables. Grilled soggy aubergine and courgette for €8 for example. Would not recommend the restaurant staff also trying to take plates away before all finished eating.
Beautiful setting in the hotel area. Nice big pool. Nice rooms.
Was asked about when we wanted to check in prior to visit, still room was not ready upon arrival. Were told to get into the pool in the meantime. After getting access to the room no pooltowels were there as they cost extra. When asking about towels these were in a room were guests can shower, and was at the moment occupied and thus locked. 30min later towels where provided. Tip from me: if a room is not ready offer something, maybe a espresso, prosecco or something. Would have gone a long way. Regarding the towels, needs to be available, but going the extra mile and maybe given a ”exception” and received normal towels in this case would have made wonders. My personal opinion regarding the extra cost of towels in a hotel with a pool is that you should include it in the price.
Extremely attentive staff. Very clean hotel, with ideal facilities and a great shower. Beautiful pool and grounds (where I was able to meditate). The restaurant served some of the best meals we had in Sardinia... fresh, locally sourced, great value for money, with a quality service. Local to beaches, bars, town, things to do for all ages, oh and free parking!Whether with friends, family, partner, for business or solo... Don't look anywhere else, visit here! You will not be disappointed :o)
The staff were always amazing, helpful, and friendly. The room was comfortable. The pool area was good and nice to spend some afternoons. Parking is free, and I don't know if it's possible to get there by bus. We can reach the amazing beaches like Porto Giunco in 10min by car (we need to pay 5 euros to park the car, valid all day) or Campulongo by 5min. Vilasimious is 5-10min by car. We noticed that the staff care a lot with the guests and the hotel, everything was working fine. We will come back for sure. We loved everything!
The only thing we noticed was the breakfast that could be preserved from flies and mosquitos (like covering the cakes, fruits, pastries, and breads), and the toaster could be on. But these things didn't disturb our stay.
Excellent room in a very attarctive garden hotel enviroment with very pleasant people running the hotel
the restaurant was closed
Family-owned, owners are caring and highly attentive, venue is gorgeous
Beautiful grounds, clean friendly staff Great breakfast
Nothing at all
The gardens and pool were beautiful. Lovely touches like the pool shower being subtly placed within a boxed hedge. The backdrop of the hills made a stunning backdrop. Watching the sun set & rise was beautiful. We also loved walking the children over to see the horse. The location was great for getting to the beaches and into town. We had made the decision to hire a car, and on arrival to the hotel there was plenty of free parking. As soon as we arrived we immediately knew we had made the right decision for a wonderful place to holiday. The rooms were immaculate and every day the beds and towels would be folded to welcome you back ready to get freshened up for the evening ahead. We found the smart tv useful, what with having free WiFi at the hotel, we were able to connect to our Netflix account. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and have a drink, facing the hills. We were made to feel so welcome.
I really can’t think of anything we didn’t like.
Clean and well organized. Beautiful Garden and a very friendly staff.
In general i think that Italy can do much better regarding their offered breakfast settings. Less sweets and more healthy options would be great.
The pool and pool area were amazing. No pool bar but requests for food drink after 3pm were granted. The staff were awesome. The grounds were clean, maintained and cared for.
It was not made explicit upon check-in that it was imperative in the evening to take the (bulky) hotel key and fob out with you (as opposed to leaving it with the concierge/behind the desk) because of closing times for the gate and main doors (midnight). The hotel catered more for the restaurant visitors; we often felt invisible/unheard as evening guests.
extremely helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent quality and the pool and surrounding areas are meticulously maintained.
An excellent 3 star property
I couldn’t speak more highly of Le Anfore, its staff, and our experience over the last week. The hotel and grounds are simply stunning - from the Mediterranean yet modern buildings, to the oasis pool open all day, to the picturesque dining experience - we loved very bit of it. The staff were all incredibly nice, very professional but also made you feel at home at the same time. The location was slightly inconvenient for going into town or to the beach, but there is a bus that goes every hour from right outside the hotel to anywhere you need to go. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 4/5
Location a bit out of town.
The outside of the property is gorgeous including the pool area. The staff were friendly and attentive at breakfastI highly recommend going to Maiori restaurant (half a mile up the road) for the best pizza and popping into the outdoor bar next door Meigamma Societa Agricola for a chilled setting with great red wine. Also highly recommend booking the wine tour with lunch at Colline del Venti for amazing food, drink and experience.
The room is plain and dated and would have expected more for the high price
The staff were very helpful when we were trying to catch local buses and the whole hotel and garden were extremely clean
The location was a little difficult at first as we did not have a car. However once we knew about the local buses it made it much easier to get around
