The property is a gem! It’s a small property with only nine rooms. Everything is very well thought out and attention to detail is evident throughout. The cafe, outdoor sitting area and pool (all on the top floor) have stunning views of the water and islands. Our room on the first floor also had stunning views! The room was large with a beautiful bath and well appointed. The staff is impeccable and were very responsive. The hotel beach is small but a larger beach is a ten minute walk on a beautiful trail along the water. Central town and several good restaurants are a short walk away. Overall an excellent property, we enjoyed our stay very much! Highly recommend!

    Nothing!

Attention to detail; location; small size

    Absolutely nothing.

Great staff (especially Rodney at the bar), awesome views, terrace, etc

Room was really comfortable, amenities, Rooftop bar is something unique, high quality breakfast , view from the balcony, location: the town is really cute, and there are two beaches close by.

Just a little problem with the shower (water coming out so the bathroom was a bit messy); management shoud recommend guests to lower their voice in the common areas at night.

Great location above a small secluded sandy beach. Nice room, beautiful bathroom. Great terrace with a view to the sea, a "rest" pool and a cosy lounge. Staff is also very kind and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Will definitely stay again. Parking is in the nearby street, had no issue to find a free slot. Restaurants are in a walking distance. Room service is also excellent.

The door of our room was not sound proof. Hopefully the hotel is small and not too many guest move at night. We had ants in our room but the staff treated it very fast.

Fantastically friendly staff. Lovely rooms, with - great terrace for food, drinks and time in the sun. Located right on the beach and just a few minutes from the lovely Portoscuso town square.

The hotel is fantastic with a great luxurious atmosphere. Great staff! Very nice breakfast and cocktails. There is a small beach (public) right down below which is convenient.

Portoscuso itself was not so nice. Three places worth spending your time on: the hotel itself, Ristorante Sa Musciara and Rais Café. I strongly recommend spending some time in Carloforte. Just a quick trip with the ferry.

This is a beautiful hotel. The town is quaint albeit you drive through an ugly industrial area to get here. Do not be put off. If you want a small boutique hotel this is it. The breakfast is amazing, staff wonderful and the view of the sea and sunset are breathtaking. We had a sea view room with balcony. It was very spacious and nice to be able to sit out and look over the sea and little beach. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for reading a book and watching out to sea.

    Nothing not to like.

Clean and close to the ocean forA swim

The pool is not a pool but more of a small paddle dip area.

Everything exceed our expectation. Professional and very friendly people wiling to give information and help any time (24 from 24 hours). Exceptional breakfast (fresh, testy, quality food) on very nice location served by nice team. Nice and convenient location. Safety place to travel and enjoy family atmosphere from a small town.Beautiful room with see view.

Everything was nice for our vacation on this oasis place.

    10AnnettePosted on: 6-9-2024

The breakfast was great, they made us an afternoon salami and cheese platter upon request. It is a very private boutique style hotel. We only stayed one night and would stay 2 nights the next time. After 8 days on the island, it was one of our favorite stays.

Location with sea views bar on rooftop

    Everything was perfect

Beautiful location on a small bay, great service, boutique hotel with only 9 rooms. Loved it.

    10AngiePosted on: 10-7-2023

Amazing hotel. Exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, offered us a welcome drink, and were super hospitable. The room was beyond our expectation - massive, beautiful furniture and bathroom, amazing views (see photos and video below). Right on the beach. This place is undersold. We had a seafood platter for dinner (€30), which the waiter put “all his love into”. It was delicious.Breakfast was amazing - beautiful baking, a freshly made omelette (or eggs as a choice) and delicious coffee. Just perfect.

Nothing to say - it was beyond expectation.

We travelled through Sardinia to five stops at Inns and this magnificent and magnificently run B&B on the coast at Portoscuso was was best - A++ ! A small, intimately run, very personal staffed and ultra modern design place is located hanging over the cliffs in southwestern Sardinia, only one hour from the Cagliari airport. Even when our AC unit went bad, the staff was magnificent and as accommodating as possible with a full hotel ( nine rooms)on the roof top dining room was superb and very memorable for the chef-created omelets. We particularly wish to remember Anthony in the roof-top bar, Fabbio who kept us in fans the first night, Lisa, who made sure we had what we needed, and the lovely lady in the big chef hat who specialized in sweet baked goods and helped us put on pounds with a smile on our face……Relais is a tad hard to find without a GPS but worth the few wrong turns and tiny streets to get there.

    Nothing could have been better!
