  • Peace and quiet. It is the perfect place to kick back and relax.Breakfast plentiful.Room spacious and bed really comfortable.Staff extremely professional, helpful, and friendly.Beach down the road is a lovely sandy bay. Perfect to swim in.20 ish minutes walk into the village for food. Lots of wonderful options. A couple of great supermarkets, Conad and Eurospin, on the outskirts.
  • Nice place. Nice service. Nice location
  • The pool, the view from our room was stunning (Junior suit with sea and pool view) It was a short walk into the little townPicturesque townStaff were friendly Very cleanWalk to little town in about 20 minsPool cleanLove view from the pool area

Cons -

  • The lounge area in the spa smelled badly. There was a cockroach in our bedroom.
  • Very low pressure shower, it also didn't reach all the way up so we had to kneel down or sit down in the tub and bend head down to wash ourselves, I'm 5ft3 and massively struggled with this. I did complain about the shower but nothing was done. The lunch selection is not great (better off walking 10 mins down the road to a nice little place in the woods) We ordered what we were told was a pizza, but it wasn't at all, we didn't enjoy this food and had to send it back, this was added to our bill anyway (as 4* hotel they should have had some class and taken it off the bill)The spa treatments were OK but not worth the money at all. We booked a Junior suit which had a sofa bed which we needed for our daughter.I ordered the room under the provisos of 2 adults and a child. However there was some kind of error and the booking put down that my child was under 1. Because she was 9 they charged us an extra 60 euros because they put a sheet on the sofa bed. Again for a 4* hotel this isn't a classy move. I booked the suit because of the sofa bed so to be charged 60 to actually use it does not make amy sense at all! The breakfast was average, some scrambled eggs, soggy bacon and hotdogs, the rest was pastries, yoghurt, and toast. Very loud air conditionerYou could hear noises from the other rooms such as doors being closed or slammed, toilets being flushed , taps running.
  • We rented the suite. Unfortunately the bathroom was more 80s and had no natural light plus no shower-cabin in the bathroom.

The Setting at the Pool with the view over the two Islands where fantastic.

We rented the suite. Unfortunately the bathroom was more 80s and had no natural light plus no shower-cabin in the bathroom.

The peace and natural surrounding. Beautiful sea view. Alessandro was a Maestro of customer service. Should be promoted to a Manager or train other hotels staff members.

The pool water was a bit to warm. Should be at the cooling temperature during the heat days. Total silence at the pool. A bit of music would be nice. Spa treatment was excellent. Anna is another Maestro. Just that the brochure said lower price and then 30% more was charged at the reception, quickly explained the brochure wasn't updated. Well. Not good.

Amazing Seaview from my balcony and beautiful sunsets. The receptionist he was very helpful it's always lovely to have a nice welcome. My room was spacious and clean and the breakfast each morning was good.beautiful and well maintained pool area.

Would be even better if the hotel could provide transport to and from the village / port for visitors without car. Also if there are any day trips where visitors can be collected from the hotel to discover the area that would enhance the experience. Also would love to be able to dine at pool area in evening.

The faciltites were excellent, staff were so friendly, helpful and nice.. Pool was excellent with fabulous views across the sea. The breakfast was also very good, with lots of choices. And lunch served at the pool was 10 out of 10. The Hotel was exceptionally clean, lovely fresh sheets and towels were regularly provided. Close to the beach. There was a general sense of wellbeing and calm. Great to relax.

There was no food served after 2pm in the Hotel... So the hotel had no fully functiong restaurant during my stay. The beach was close, but there was a small hill on the way back. The town was delightful and people were so friendly and helpful, but it was a small town and therefore didn't have the range and variety of usual tourist attractions, i.e range of restaurants and shops. While the town has a small number of restaurants they were all excellent, really authentic. The beach was nice, but didn't have sunbeds.

Wonderful pool setting next to the sea with the waves crashing on the rocky shore. Totally loved it!

Nothing noted.

Excellent location with a beautiful seaview. Every member of the staff was extremely nice and helpful (compared to our experiences we had in other facilities on the island). The hotel itself is not newly built, for instance the bathroom is a little outdated, but the calm atmosphere, the view and the staff easily compensates it.

The bed was a little hard for our taste. The breakfast is average - everything tasted good but it was the same every morning. The soundproofing of the building is quite poor.

Close to the beach. Nice and clean. Relaxing atmosphere.

It was a little far from the town with restaurants but we didnt mind walking.

10JerzyPosted on: 6-25-2023

Excellent view, a lot of space

The parking should be marked more clearly because of the network of one-way streets

7JacquiPosted on: 6-22-2023

Traditional Italian hotel. Good location for beach. Superb views. Nice walks nearby. Attentive serviceBike hire available

Not many places to eat nearby. Air con centrally controlled rather than individually controlled meaning there were times when we were unable to put the air con on when we needed it. No kettle in room, but asked for one and got one, but no milk or teabags provided! Had to pay for them Very limited choice for breakfast. Hot food was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage thats all. No fresh fruit like melon or pineapple just whole apples and whole kiwis. Exactly the same every day. Coffee machine only makes half a cup you need to press the button twice! Lunch served from 12-2 only. No other good available for the rest of the day.

The hotel is very nice. It was the largest room we encountered on our trip, with a large and modern bathroom. The room included part of a round, stone turret so it was more interesting than a square room. We did not use the pool or beach, but we could see the beach from our room. We did not eat breakfast here. It might be an excellent place to host a conference or family reunion.

We selected the hotel through Bookings.com from a map, and it was supposed to be in an area with beautiful beaches. I was surprised to drive through a vast area of abandoned mines and tailings less than an hour out of town, and then we drove past a very large power-generating facility. The area was quite industrial leading up to the town. It was about 2030 when we arrived in town, and when we found the hotel, we realized it was located away from the center of town in a quiet area. Before we checked in, we decided to go get an ice cream because it seemed like we'd have to drive to get something to eat. We drove to the waterfront and found that there were few restaurants and most were closed. We could not get an ice cream. It's a quiet town, and didn't seem to have many locals or tourists active in the evening. We would also have to drive everywhere. While we were happy to be done with the crowds in other places, we were not quite prepared for such a quiet place and had been enjoying walking around and eating in more lively places. We had reserved the room for 3 nights, and when I checked in, I told the receptionist that we only wanted to stay one night. He charged my card for 3 nights anyway, even though I was clear about staying only one night. When we checked out the next morning, we waited in the lobby to talk with the hotel manager about getting a refund for the 2 nights we did not stay. He walked right by us and into his office, and wouldn't talk to us. I was friendly and not angry; I wish he had been willing to at least talk with us. They never asked why we wanted to leave. Even though I've had several exchanges with the Bookings.com customer service people, I have not been refunded the money for the two nights we did not stay.

Staff, breakfast and location.

Mattress was uncomfortable, a lot of facilities wasn't free, like the use of iron, extra water!

8ZbigniewPosted on: 5-25-2023

Chek-in/-out proces was ok, service also, view was perfect and we gto actually better than we requested during booking proces, parking for free, accessible wifi, fresh juices, cafe and so on..

The hotel is somewhere in between 3 and 4*, bar open only up to 20.00, breakfast always the same, but eatable, scrambled eggs overcooked, a bit too expensive..

We stayed a week at Hotel Lido degli Spagnoli and everything was fantastic. The staff was extremely professional and friendly and attentive to our needs. Dario and Martina in the bar/restaurant were just incredible and Anna in the spa was excellent. Our large room faced the sea with an ample balcony and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is extensiveeggs, bacon, toast, local pastries, yogurt, tea, coffee, juicesand there is lunch service to the pool, and drink service to the pool all day. The desk clerks responded to all of our requests promptly. The pool area is beautiful and overlooks the sea, and the sandy public beach is about a 100m walk down the street and is in a lovely protected cove. There is a walking path close to the hotel for bikes and pedestrians that leads to a hilltop with some ruins. The hotel grounds are well kept with lots of grass areas for children and pets to run. September 1-8 was not crowded at all anywhere. We were able to book last minute boat tours and horseback riding and the weather was still perfect. The local communities are filled with delicious food and friendly people. Highly recommend!! We WILL come back! Ten out of ten for sure.

the AC is automatically turned off at night, so we had to ask to have it continued through the night because the summer was unusually hot

beautiful sea view from balcony, very nice and quiet garden with pool, enough places around the pool, sufficient breakfast, kind personal, safe in the room, good price, parking

limited opening hours for lunch in day bar, when you want to order something in day bar you have to use the phone we did not know that, same breakfast every day, the beach close the hotel was overcrowded, restaurants quite far from the hotel
