Sant'Elmo Holiday Residence

Among the bare bones kitchen equipment and supplies. There were four nice wine glasses. Good communication over WhatsApp.

This 2BR apartment and complex is so tired. We had to beg for extra towels and dish soap, which we were granted with fee waived by management - we are soooo grateful. One free umbrella for 4 to share, but no beach chairs or amenities. Apartment common spaces have AC, but not the bedrooms or bathroom. Our mistake for booking - tried to go from 3 to 2 nights (due to early flights and 1+ hrs from airport), which they actually said was ok, BUT no money back for the 3rd night. Last week of September, place is empty.

The Villa is nice.

The Villa is nice. Nevertheless it's located on a far away location. The parking is quite far from the Villa. The beach is disappointing. The owner didn't leave much in the Villa, one toilet paper etc. The water pressure at the shower was really bad. It was very disappointing. We will not return.

The covered outdoor terrace was a relaxing place to spend time. Very quiet area. Proximity to the local grocery (which closed mid-October) was super convenient. Kitchen has very basic cooking supplies. Close drive to many good beaches and other villages with many more shops. In October, beaches and roads were not busy. Loungers in the yard and a hose to clean sandy feet and dusty bicycles was a nice touch. Air conditioning worked well.

We stayed for one week. You will be supplied a small bag of cleaning items - 50ml dish soap, cloths, and garbage bags - and one roll of toilet paper. Consider bringing a few items from home as the apartment is not stocked with anything (bring or buy your own salt and pepper, cooking oil, hand soap, laundry detergent, and depending on time of year some mosquito repellant). No coffee machine! Going out for it or making instant coffee were the options. Fire place is not working but instead has a dehumidifier / heater (?). Had a musty smell when we arrived but after leaving doors open and turning on AC that went away quickly.

The house is beautiful in and out, the balcony with a perfect oceanview and enough space to eat outside, a terrace under pinetrees to enjoy the sun, an outdoor shower with warmwater and oceanview. The kitchen is well equiped. The complex is also nice and the beaches there are amazing and only 5 minutes walk.

We loved this place, only the bedsofa for the 5th person is not confortable and needs to be replace, the shower is a bit small but ok

The supplies in the rental were pretty sparse. however, there was a grocery store close to buy what was not provided.

The location was perfect, very close (in a 5 minutes walk) to a beautiful not crowded beach, with nice underwater life. The apartment was clean, the checkin was easy even after the reception working hours. We got extra 1 hour for checkout for free. The communication was easy with the helpful stuff by Whatsup. It was really comfortable for 5 persons. A szupermarket and a nice restaurant was in 5 minutes walking distance. Parking was safe and free, with a room allocated lot. The garden was well-treated, beautiful. And we had view to the sea above some other house room and plants!

In the dark it was not easy to find our apartment, the numbering was a little confusing and not well signed. There was no microwave oven. And two of the four aircon had problems (in the bedrooms), but was fixed for 90%, it was a little slow, but that was the fault of the mechaniks and the corridor aircon was quite enough to cool the two rooms.

The location is really breathtaking!I loved my balcony, the sea view and the gorgeous sunrises and, in particular, my tiled table and the comfy chairs.

The property is locared directly on the best beaches of south Sardinia, 200m by foot. Apartments are small houses, each has a small garden, kitchen has all the appliances that you will need.The host Ilaria was really kind and helpfull.

No free Wifi, TV was not working

Excellent locality - close to the beach, close to a very good supermarket, calm area, excellent view of the see from our balcony (could be limited for some apartments as we were on top of the hill and some apartments are lower). The apartment had 2 stories, which makes it perfect in case you are a bigger group. We didn´t have to use it - 2 adults slept on a foldable bed in the living room and 2 children slept in a separate bedroom.

We loved the sea view, the proximity to the supermarket and restaurant, the house amenities (particularly the washing machine and air con) and the whole holiday vibe of the place. We were located close to an amazing beach where the water was so clean and just divine. I would definitely return to Sant’Elmo. Thank you Ilaria who was a pleasure to deal with.

Can’t think of anything.

This was our 4th stay at St Elmo and it was better than ever, With a new modernised high quality supermarket on site and an excellent beach bar offering great service, value food and drink. The apartment was spacious with wonderful sea views. Nearby Costa Rei has a good selection of restaurants & bars. The resort also has a new manager who provides an excellent guide to local activities, restaurants and excursions.

Personally we do not like soft/memory-foam mattresses, and a little hand soap for the bathroom would be a nice touch.

Some of the rooms stink for mold or sewage.Ventilation and flushing all lines helps.It's in the middle of nowhere. Nothing to go nearby.Water is a bit dizzy, sewage stream nearby

Staff were very friendly and helpful. As a family of 3 with a 2.5 year old it was an ideal size with a really nice garden and sea view. There is a very well stocked supermarket on site with good meat and fish counters, which is ideal as there are BBQ's in each garden which we used most nights to cook dinner. The beach is a short walk and is one of the best beaches one the coast, we travelled to others and the local one was definitely one of the best. There is also a cafe/restaurant on site so really easy with kids to be able to eat out. Beach, restaurants, and supermarket all on site make it a great place to stay with kids for the convenience.

The Kitchen wad dated and lacked a bit of space to prep food.

the location. best beach in costa rei for families with kids. lots of birds and flowers make the place beautiful. we had a very love time in the residence.

misses basic supplies. you need to bring your own toilet paper, cleaning items for the dishes. we had to buy salt for the washing machine otherwise it didn’t work.there is a strict policy for the garbage collection. it would have been nice to know about in when doing the check in.not a big deal but nice to know in advance.

The property took a EUR 150 deposit against damage. After we left I got a message on Messanger saying that they will not return us EUR 100 as we did not take out the rubbish. It does not say in the reservation that there is an additional cleaning fee. The deposit was taken against the damage. I would like to add that the garbage was not taken out as the garbage can outside was only open for 10 minutes during the day and we were not in the apartment at that time. We asked a lady at the reception what to do if we are not in the apartment during the time of bin opening, as we are traveling thtough the island, and come back late, but the lady didnt know what to do, so we left all the trash in the bins and some bigger one collect together sorted for plastic and cartoon, and left close to the bins, so that it would be easy to clean. There was nothing written in the regulations or at my reservation that any additional fee for cleaning is taken, that is why the 100 EUR was taken wrongly, what is very unethical bevavior and cheating a client by charging additional fees, which were no mentioned anywhere.
