    Pros +

    • It’s a nice hotel that blends into the surrounding nature; rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The Spa has a very nice area and I really love the hut close to the woods where you can spot albino deers if you are lucky!
    • Adequate!
    • We were expecting luxury and everything was just mediocre, including the facilities, hospitality and food.

    Cons -

    • In the past they used to offer packages with half board and 30 minutes massage, and they had coffee and cakes in the afternoon which is not the case anymore
    • Neglected landscaping TV remote wasn’t usable Shower drain was inadequate and leaked water throughout the bathroom floor.
    • Run down feeling. Not well kept.

Wonderful location, well maintained gardens. Exudes peace and relaxation. Interesting layout in the property, full of nooks and crannies, quite quirky. Plenty of spa and relaxation areas where you can quietly sit and read (good selection of books) or just relax. Most likely better in summer when you can also relax next to the outdoor pool where most of the loungers are. Bedrooms comfortable, well furnished with pleasant outlook from the balcony. Good catering at the Villa restaurant for breakfast and dinner and in the bar. Although the dinner menu was a little disappointing (cheese for starters and dessert). The spa treatments were good and imagine that the yoga and other offers would be too but didn’t stay long enough to try them all. Easy parking on site. All in all an excellent stay.

Nothing really.Had to wait at reception for check in and check out though not massively long.Changing facilities in the spa very small. Had to change in the hallway and make room for people passing.

Clean, specious rooms, The food was absolutely delicious at villa resturant Every dish was beautifully presented. Whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just stopping by for a meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

No room services, the water bottle in the room is not changed daily, i have to call the reception every day for that and most of the time the receptionist don’t pick the calls.

The saunas, the pools, the rooms, the superb breakfasts, the fireplace, the candles, going for cake in our bathrobes. It is a beautiful place!!!

My daughter and I would have appreciated an orientation to the spa itself. There were so many wonderful things to do and places to go, but it was not easy to find them.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.. We enjoyed our evenings in the bar with our dog - the waiter who took care of us every night was excellent (so sorry we didnt take his name!). We appreciated the reception teams' help to find a solution for us for breakfast so we didn't have to leave our dog alone in the room. We loved the outdoor pool!

There is no outside bins even in the car park - and when you have your dog with you it's needed !For future guests - there is a bin up the main road a bit, after where you turn in to go the main car park.

Fantastic breakfast buffet. Beautiful trees in the grounds. Plenty of loungers. Everything provided for a spa holiday. Informal dress code.

Unfortunately building works were going on and it was noisy at times. But we were warned and it won't always be like that. Outside of working hours it was peaceful.

It is a nice retreat, the spa and the food was amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    - the spa: is open until 22:00 ?, still at 20:00 ? it was just a deserted area, with a mountain of used towels, used cups around. The back door opened and the entire area was cooled down. We had the feeling that it was closing time and the staff already went home.- general: lots of lamps did not function, not only in our room, but also around the villa, on the floor. Lack of quality management.- at check out no feedback form, nobody asked us how our stay was. -rooms: we had a room in the Guesthouse called Landhaus offsite 9 min walk. We hat the feeling that we were just visiting. To use the spa and have dinner, we had to plan in advance and bring a bag of changing clothes. In our room one bedside lamp, one socket was broken and the shower at the ? was leaking. As we let them know, the hotel reacted immediately, which was positive.- no bell boy, room service, not even a phone in the room for the reception.- Definitely not a 4 Star Hotel feeling, not good value for money.

Fabulous get away, great place to relax in the Spa Area and three choices of restaurants to choose from, all top notch. Always an incredible experience, highly recommend everyone to come and experience Bollants first hand .

The dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The pools were wonderful.

It would have been nice to have a cup of tea or coffee included with the mid-afternoon cake (free). It was a surprise that we had to pay for our tea/coffee. Also, at midnight, the staff disposed of glass bottles right outside my window, which woke me up and it was very difficult to fall back asleep. There was a crying baby outside which disturbed our relaxation time.

Great breakfast, great spa facilities, beautiful location. The highlight was the dinner in the Jungborn restaurant!

You could see and notice the significant staff shortages they have: long lines at reception, no help with luggage, breakfast tables not set, etc. Also I didnt know up until check in that our room was not on the main site but rather in an offsite location, ca. 10min walk.

The breakfast and the dinner were good!

A bit unforunate that the massages got rescheduled many times and finally ended 20 minutes before dinner, even though, it was not possible to reschedule dinner (6 pm). Actually, we got a room in « Landhaus » (which wasn’t communicated until the same day), and only reachable by car.

good restaurants, nice lobby, and nice sceneries

first, they want me to take a room across the town and they even don’t provide shuttle. then, they checked me in a dirty room. •it’s over priced, I paid premium price for suite and got the worst room the bath was less than basic maintenance , it’s not clear how they segment rooms. •the quality varies significantly between buildings within the hotel complex, it’s not clear on booking though. •the spa services are also fluctuating not all same level.

    Great!

The pool upstairs was cold. The last time we visit, the pools inside was warmer.

The spa area is amazing. Not too crowded and super relaxing spots everywhere. The food was amazing.

My room was at the very end of all the houses. I double looked my doors as I felt a little unsafe as a solo female traveler.

great location but this weekend ultra loud live music from open air party. nicely decorated!

spa facilities distributed; nicely made but had come to an age to get maintenance! sleeping area in off site location (8min walk up an not lighted hill) The dinner was good, but not exceptional. breakfast had high variety! but also here distributed and too crowded .

very beautiful garden, hotel and spa facility, summer holiday feeling, Prosecco on arrival

small room, staff was friendly but I would have expected a couple more smiles on their faces :)
