Beautifull hotel great rooms and amenities but the best was the staff  welcome us like family, and at the restaurant Hotel employee's were amazing with their warm attention and making sure everything was great. We will be back.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The building and grounds are fantastic.

The building structure.

Breakfast was under standard. "Reception" on arrival very unpersonal and short. And most of all the price of 260 euro per night, breakfast in. I do not know who ripped me, the hotel or booking.com. I checked the prices for this hotel and the median was 130. I am pissed.

Spain is a stunning country filled with incredible sights, yet Sober might not be the first destination that comes to mind. Great location if visiting the Ribeira Sacra. Wonderful palace and amazing staff.

Beautiful building and grounds

No restaurant open on Sunday and Monday nights which was not advised before our booking had been paid in advance. Staff were helpful in sending us to local town but only small bars open. Not god after a day of driving!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Everything was explained to us in detail and if we needed anything they were happy to help. The breakfasts offered variety and covered all needs and the Dinner we had was amazing and so good we ate their twice. They even brought me a little birthday cake too.

It was a shame about the Spa and that we had to pay for that on top of paying for the room too. Surely the cost of the room should cover the cost of the spa? Everything else was fairly priced .

The restaurant in the town nearby called Berso. Friendly staff.

We were given different options for wifi but nothing worked for our 2 nights here. Signal did not reach our 3 rooms and it was only in reception that there was wifi. There was not much to do at all and no lunch offered on the premises. Building was much smaller than I expected and not much character. Pool gets lots of insects and grounds could be better maintained.

Beautiful hotel and the spa is small but really nice. Room very nice. Dinner was fantastic and great value for money. Staff were all really good, particularly in the morning.

Staff were a bit manic on the afternoon that we arrived. Seemed like it was possibly just opening up for the season. No problem but I except it is better with more guests as if you wanted anything you had to ring to find a member of staff. Seemed rather short staffed. The staff there were were excellent.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, very close to the Sil Canyon (which is spectacular - go to one of the viewing points nearby). What really set this hotel apart though was the welcome and the service provided by the team; especially the lady who welcomed us on arrival (whose English is near perfect) and our fantastic waitress. We loved being able to order drinks that would be delivered to any of the amazing seating areas we discovered in the hotel, the very nice dinner that included wine and the wonderful gardens.

Fabulous size pool to laze away the day, plenty of cool water available at the pool.The staff were lovely particularly the restaurant staff.Overall a wonderful stay.

The amazing and gorgeous gardens; the beautiful hotel; the professional, friendly; helpful members of staff at all levels, housekeeping; reception and restaurant. Beautiful breakfast display of fresh food both cold and hot and juices served at the restaurant.

Having to leave as we would have loved to stay a few more days.

The place is very beautiful, rooms are very nice. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Last but not least, breakfast was excellent.

The one and only thing was that the restaurant was not open in the evening.
