1. No AC. 2. Extra charge for linens. 3. Map address sent us to a property well outside of town.

It was a great overnight stay in Roldal for us, we arrived late and the room was waiting for us with a key in the door. There's an Ionity charging station nearby and a parking on site. There were kitchen utensils and a nice balcony with a view. You have to bring your own linens or rent them for a fee -- pretty typical in Norway. Overall, we were very satisfied with our room and our stay, check out at 12 is great perk as well.

The view in Room 8 is exceptional.

Linens and towels not available right away. Was a bit confusing in booking that had to specify that we needed linens and towels.

For a price it was a very good facility. If we go in smaller details then bedroom are conjusted

Functionality was high.Nice kitchen which worked well.Really nice and spacious bathroom.

The kitchen was very sparsely equipped.Generally, the apartment lacks atmosphere. White walls and nothing beyond what is strictly necessary.

Very spacious, clean, full kitchen and beautiful view. Staff was very responsive and accommodating. I really wish we had more time to stay as the room just felt like home and comfortable..The road to Roldal was closed due to bad weather the original day we were going to stay, so had to change the dates last minute which was given smoothly without penalty. They also held our room the next day in case there was bad weather which was forecasted, but we ended up not staying which was nice to have a backup plan without committing to paying for another night. I kind of was hoping to get snowed in just to have an excuse to stay another night!

Nothing. I have been to Roldal 3-4x now staying at different places and this is by far the best accomodation I have had.

Love the location and view from the room and the duvet was very warm. The man who helped us in during a storm was very kind.

no bed linen, bed linen paid extra. People sleep without pillowcases, which is why duvets and pillows are dirty,The last time we encountered such a situation was in India or Egypt. Of course, the situation is the same in many others appartments in Norway. This is a very common situation.Luckily we had our sleeping bags. the price is not adequate. This situation should not happen in a European country. Bed linen should be included in such a high price.

Nice apartment with two bedrooms, ideal for 4 people. The highlight of the apartment is its large balcony with a magnificent view.

right on the road (but as the rooms have windows to the opposite side, the noise from the road was not a problem)

We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

All was great!

Awesome view from the balcony, magical early morning watching the changing scenery as the haze and low clouds were burnt off by the morning sun. Easy parking.

Had to pay extra for bed linen and towels. Very cramped bedroom, hard to move around in. Pretty basic amenities. Terse and unwelcoming list of instructions for paying guests.

Terrace and entrance in general was pretty nice, we could unpack our car without walking up and down, just entered through the terrance. Bathroom was also fine. What I also liked was the fact that I could just get in and get out without meeting anyone (I prefer it that way). Amazing view!

Apartment was very hot and we couldn't open any window besides the door to the terrace. Sleeping room was literally stuffed with two beds and there was almost no space to walk around. One lamp in the sleeping room was mounted literally above the pillow where somebodies head should be, lol. Sofa in the living room was stained, same as the curtains. It was VERY loud in the night because of the tractor trailers riding just outside of the hotel. Also, it was not super clean. Kitchen was quite sticky and there was not enough space for utensils etc (pots were standing just aside the trash can). We didn't sleep well because of the noise and temperature (and it wasn't even hot outside that night).

Great for an overnight stop over or two with a Coop nearby stocking most food requirements. Good view from the balcony. Access arrangements worked fine.

Basic but functional. We stayed two nights but had to buy all the necessaries - toilet roll, shampoo, soap, salt, pepper, sugar etc. You would have thought that some basics are provided.

Summer time no one was present.Storage room is for skiing equipment. Nice place but focused to winter time.

Great spot in Roldal, lovely view from the balcony. Space was clean and comfortable and it was easy to arrive and get set up.

Having to pay extra for linen these days is inconvenient, and the fee was quite high.

Charming retreat with breathtaking views, enough parking place. There is a store 5 minutes walking.
