Pros +
- Great hotel in Kambos area, Mr Dimitris was helpfull for every detail and we really felt home during our stay of 1 week..Great view from our room…Very smily stuff and clean rooms..We will definetely stay in Patmos Paradise Hotel next year , thank you ?
- The view is amazing. Very clean hotel. Friendly staff
- The view:the location :very close to Skala but quiet ,the beach :even when it’s stormy there are no waves, the friendliness of the staff, good breakfast
Cons -
- The bathroom was a bit small but very very clean. The hotel isn't really beachfront but anyway most of the hotels in Patmos offer access to various beautiful bays by car or by a short walk. You can walk to the Kambos beach from this hotel because it's located on, in my opinion, the most beautiful beach in Patmos.
- The room-walls are to thin that you can hear every noise from other rooms
- Part of the staff were not willing to help. There were neglect in the mainteinance of the room and facilities (dirty cushions at the pool, broken windows...)

Perfect Family Stay at Patmos Paradise HotelOur family of 14 had a fantastic experience at Patmos Paradise Hotel. Located on the scenic island of Patmos, the hotel offered stunning views and convenient access to local attractions. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and provided a comfortable retreat after exploring the island. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast served each morning. Dimitris and the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly welcomed. Patmos Paradise Hotel is highly recommended for families seeking a clean, peaceful, and memorable stay on this beautiful Greek island.
Nothing!!
I want to add a comment. I bought a garden view room. But our view was just other room’s door. I don’t like it and please write the reality
The hotel is a little dated in terms of decor/finishes etc, but it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean which makes it rather charming in its own way. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate (coffee, omelette, Yoghurt and fruit for us - but there’s a full continental and some other cooked food). Lovely pool which gets the sun all day and was always super quiet during our stay. Ample free parking (driveway is steep, as are many roads in Patmos, so try and get a decent hire car with a bit of power). But the real showstopper - the view - which really is stunning! We had a pool/sea view room which was worth it as we sat on the balcony each morning to enjoy a coffee (no coffee in room so we grabbed from breakfast). An amazing spot from which to enjoy the island, in very close proximity to a number of excellent beaches, including Kampos which is a 5 minute walk and has a couple of beach clubs and a taverna. 15 min drive from port, 20 min drive from Chora.
Could have done with coffee facils in the room. Our room (105) had old AC which was ok but not the best but our friends adjoining (104) it was newer and v good.
As an hotelier myself I would never come back to this hotel because of the staff.
The staff was very unhelpful. The old man at the reception told me that I need to wait two hours to have someone help me with my luggages. At the end another hotel guest carried my bags to upstairs to my room because there are NO elevators at the hotel. Later I asked them to charge my car. He said again to wait two hours. When I come back to the hotel 4 HOURS LATER the car was NOT charged so I had to wait extra one more hour for the car to recharge. When I was checking out he told me that I was lucky that they DID NOT CHARGE ME for charging the car. Who charges their guests to pay give electricity to their car. Very rude.
We loved it, the view, the vibes and the receptionist Dimitris is amazing. Thank you for this heavenly stay
Wonderful location , spectacular view from the room & amazing staff
The location is fantastic, the staff are really helpful and friendly.
Rooms are on the smaller side.
Nice small hotel very close to the beach all room have views to the sea. Relatively small but confortable rooms, very clean, basic breakfast included, very helpful staff nice size pool. Can walk to the organized beach but probably drive.
The hotel is totally amazing, the rooms, the whole facility but the best is the staff! Dimitri is the best manager we ever met, the best hospitality, Tomas is great and the whole team is amazing! It was our second time and hopefuly we will be back!
Staff very welcoming, friendly and excellent service. View from the room and the pool was wonderful. Breakfast was good with sufficient choice for a small hotel.
We were very happy with the accommodation but if you had mobility issues, getting to the beach may be a problem.
The breakfasts were exceptionally well done, with a spectacular view of the islands. The staff were very helpful & friendly. My experience far surpassed what I was expecting
Can’t think of a thing.
Patmos Paradise is a lovely 45-room hotel overlooking Kombos Bay. It's located just 10 minutes by car from the Port of Skala. The hotel is family-owned, a bit old-fashioned, but very well-maintained. It has a big swimming pool on a generous terrace overlooking the bay. You can walk down to the beach in abut 7 minutes. Kombos Beach has several beach establishments that rent sunbeds and umbrellas (10€/person for the day) and a handful of tavernas for lunch or dinner, plus beach parling and a kiosk for "beach stuff" if needed. The Establishment at the end of the beach is the most "bling" with a (not cheap) excellent restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, each with a nice terrace/balcony. Housekeeping is stellar and they are generous with towels. The hotel has a nice bar/snack space on the main floor, open until midnight, where you can have a light lunch (club sandwiches, salads), snack or drink. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient – many of the principal staff-members have been working there for a long time. When we stayed (early August) the clientele was primarily Greek, with a few French and Italian guests (and me, an American from Paris). Many guests return every year. We were VERY happy there and will certainly return. The hotel does need a bit of modernization, not for questions of comfort, per se, but to attract new, well-travelled guests in this world of fickle demanding travelers. Oh –I almost forgot: the view is incredible form the rooms, from the breakfast room, from the pool ….. you could spend the whole day just looking out at the island and the sea. A great place to stay for guests who have a car or motorbike and and want a calm place to which to return at the end of the day.
Our only negative comment (said with affection and humor): THE MUSIC! No Greek music (which may be a plus for some people) and a penchant for Apollonian (calm- also nice) – but there is a difference between calm and soporific …. The music was a bit depressing and sleep inducing (not great at breakfast).
Great location in walking distance to the sandy Kambos beach. The room was clean but on the last floor, the equivalent of 3 floors to climb. The breakfast area has a supreb view but the breakfast itself is not special.
The room was pretty basic and the TV had few mostly Greek channels. No good dinner options around
The friendly, accommodating staff. Dimitris the hotel manager was wonderful. He knew the best restaurants and locations to visit. The location of the property was excellent with beautiful views near a beach.
The view, the breakfast, the rooms (simple and nice), the beachfown te hill
wifi only at reception, mattresses a bit tough
