Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Greece

This is beautiful and special hotel on Patmos. It is run like a well run ship with amazing food, beach area, and staff. I will definitely return with my family next year. Patmos is a quieter more spiritual island and this hotel did not disappoint.

Tranquil, fresh decor,modern and super clean. I loved everything about the hotel. Perfect location and the views were great. Staff were the best we’ve ever encountered, best hospital.

In the evening, there’s a fantastic seaside restaurant offering both Italian cuisine and a classic, traditional tavern experience—both are a must-try.While there are other beautiful spots on the island where you can swim, the hotel’s beach is so lovely that you won’t feel the need to leave.The staff is extremely attentive in every aspect. Whether during the day, in the restaurants, or at any time, their warmth and hospitality make you feel at home within minutes of your arrival.

A bit away from downtown. So you need to take a taxi…

Everything was sublime. The facilities are clean, serene, and picturesque, blending with nature and highlighting the Greek island style. The breakfast is abundant and tasty. The spa is available to all guests (sauna & steam bath), and there is also a range of paid therapies (Alexandra & Spiros performed one of the best massage therapies we ever had). Nice beachfront with very comfy sun beds and a chilling lounge area above it, available until late. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Finally, all these would not be possible without Manolis, the hotel manager, who guided us through the hotel amenities and compensated us with extra pampering.

The staff, location and the food

A superb hotel on the beach front with spa facilities which were free. Very clean rooms with all modern facilities, rooms were cleaned and linen changed twice a day . Very friendly staff and manager Emmanuel found time to take us around to show the facilities. A very new, modern spacious gym. Breakfast had variety of dishes and live egg counter.

Everything!! Especially the wonderful, thoughtful staff. Also the beautiful hotel, the private beach, the breakfasts and the gym was excellent, too.

The beach only.

This is not a five star hotel for sure! The rooms are ok. They need upgrade and also there is an old rug in the floor that needs to be removed. The service is not so good. Breakfast below median. Not a lot of choices. There is no food service after 11pm so only from that you can understand that this cannot be a five star hotel. The hotel has two restaurants. The cielo which is ok and the plefsis taverna. I would not go to plefsis taverna or suggest you to go. A guy named Dimitris which may be also the chef was telling us that there is no table available and there were available tables. Lia from the reception and a nice gentleman from the island was asking Dimitris for a table for us and he was ignoring them and us. Then, he provided us a table like he was making a favor (Greek BS) and when I found hair in the Greek salad, instead of being apologetic, he was analyzing if the hair was black or blond!! My husband and I have traveled all over the world and we always stay in five star hotels. This is not a five star hotel and the most important thing in order to become a five star hotel is the behavior of the employees. The only people that are professional there are Lia and Giorgos from the reception area. I heard a rumor that Patmos Aktis tries to become Marriott Bonvoy. This hotel is far behind from becoming a Marriott. My overall opinion is that is a nice looking hotel with no service and adequate food.

Private beach Room with private pool Breakfast Location

We often choose hotels for budget or amenities, but I believe we remember places because of the people we meet - not the location (however lovely it is) or the food, etc. Patmos Aktis is one of these hotels that scores the top marks for its beach access, lovely food, the spa, and if you are lucky, the cool pool. But you will want to come back because how great the team is. Congratulations to Patmos Aktis, you must be doing something very right for you to employ so many kind, helpful and lovely people.

Occasionally house keeping gets things wrong. Clean always, but some dirty glasses left here and there.

Service is really poor. Breakfast variety very limited for the price range. They were definitely understaffed. 2 waiters trying to cater 50 sun beds. Food quality was lackluster in general.

Breakfast buffet selection was excellent! Location of the hotel with the private beach was a real treat! Rooms were spacious, quiet, beautifully furnished and clean, and we were upgraded to a suite with a private pool!! Absolutely wonderful!! Staff were friendly and attentive! Thank you for a very special experience at Patmos Aktis Suites and Spa!!

We liked everything ...

Beautiful 5 star resort situated on it's own private beach, with lounges available for guests of the resort to use (including towels and water). The rooms are quite spacious and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast is comprehensive with many options and coffee made to order. Nice touches like bringing by water bottles to your room at night, since you are a bit removed from shops etc. You can also walk to several restaurants nearby for dinner if you don't have a car. All in the value is quite good for the price you pay, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing week at the beach.

The food at the beach is rather expensive, but you pay for the convenience :)
