Hotel Broglia

Our experience was excellent: Hotel Broglia provides very good breakfast and comfortable rooms in a central location for a modest price. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the facilities are rather old but generally clean and cozy. Staff was friendly and professional. Besides breakfast and our lovely balcony, another highlight was the location right in the middle of Sirmione Old Town. Absolutely recommend!

The property itself is really nice. Very helpful staff, clean, good breakfast. However, it is difficult to access. We decided not to use the shuttle service from their parking lot, assuming we could save money. This was a bad idea. We wended up spending 50€ for one night on parking. It is better to just book to 15€ shuttle with parking.

We had a very pleasant stay at this resort hotel in the off season. Given the low price, the value was truly exceptional. The hotel has a quiet elegance that we found more comfortable than the much more expensive and glitzier hotel up the street. The breakfast was very nice and high quality. The staff was invariably welcoming and responsive.

We booked this hotel last minute and was great value for the money. We got a room with a view of the lake which was fantastic. The room included a tv but not a smart one with most channels not working. Internet was almost nonexistent and kept dropping. Our room came with an included breakfast that was fantastic ( eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, fruits, pastries etc) The location was fabulous!

Almost nonexistent internet and tv. Room could use some updating and real sheet used on beds. We had two half sheets in a queen bed very strange.

The breakfast buffet was really good. The location is amazing, and the room had a really nice balcony

Amazing price for a luxurious stay in a gorgeous building. Free breakfast and coffee every morning with a bountiful spread of fruit, veggies, eggs, pancakes, croissants, cakes, and more! The staff was all very friendly and remembered us and our late night pizza orders.

The beds were a little hard and the pillows were almost nonexistant, but with two of them it was ok.

The place is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, the staff is very kind and polite ready to help for everything. The food is delicious and the value for the money is great

Nice rooms, very cute and they looked better and less ‘old’ than on the pictures. Nice balcony with allot of space. Air conditioning was perfect, it was almost cold in the room while it was 37° outside so it worked amazing! We also had a fridge what we didn’t expect cause it wasn’t shown on the room pictures or in the room description so that was also a good suprise! The location was also REALLY pretty and it was a bit outside the busy old town so it was a chill spot! The pool was also amazing, not too cold but cold enough to take a jump to escape the heat which was perfect!

The shower was REALLY hot sometimes, we didn’t really understand how we could change the temperature, eventually we figured it out but it was a task. The remote from the TV didn’t work, not a big problem tho cause we didn’t really used the TV but we also couldn’t turn it on so we also didn’t had the change to use it.

15 euros for shuttle service once we checked in but did not drop us at our hotel, instead it dropped us at the beginning of downtown area. when we checked out at 4am due to an early flight, had to pay 50 euros for a taxi to drive about a mile to our car.

Central location, clean and comfortable, good breakfast and nice staff, cheaper parking provided by the hotel outside the old city compared to the parking prices in that area.

There was a bad smell coming from the shower and the general smell in the room was not really pleasant (smelled vinegarish/old). The furniture is also a little bit dated and very used (e.g. the rugs on the hotel floors and on the stairs)

We had a really pleasant stay at the hotel, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was spacious and had all the necessities. Very good breakfast with a lot of fresh produce and various options. I liked the location a lot, it was a bit on the side from noisy touristy streets but still in the very center of the town

There were some bugs in the ceiling of our room at night time, they didn´t bite, but still we felt a bit uncomfortable

Amazing location, staff, outdoor property / pool and food! Just be aware this hotel is older, with the wonderful things that come with the history of an older building so does some of the functions but nothing unexpected!

The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. They even let us leave the luggage for some time before our check in and out. The location was very convenient. You get very nice acomodation for the value!

Good location, quiet place, super breakfast

Lovely staff, great location and nice breakfast.

Our tv wasn’t connected to the internet and the pool wasn’t open yet - this was okay but just check with reception if these are dealbreakers for you.

We loved that it was on the edge of the town so not near the hustle and bustle. But still close enough to walk to every thing . The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
