Hotel La Rondine

Having a dock to the lake was amazing. The fresh fish was excellent. Great service and beautiful patio for hanging out in the evening or any time! Lots of seating on the lawn. The bikes were super useful!

Only 2 small pillows on the queen bed. No secure baggage service but they did let us keep our bags in the lobby for morning check out activities.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We liked the location of how close we are to bus stops and to have a nice walk into town. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. When staying by the pool it was relaxing. The beds were comfortable with great pillows and aircon.

The only small thing I disliked was how cramped the room felt, but other than that the stay was amazing.

The hotel is as it looks in the photos - on the lake, with great view, nice staff, parking, our room was with lake view and balkone. All was great! Very close to the castle.

Direct lake access. Lovely dining terrace with fantastic sunset view. Exceptionally clean. Some staff were efficient, others not. Free parking. Pillows were good.

AC quite noisy. Decor felt dated and tired, but they kept it very clean. Efficiency of some staff is lacking - of 4 guests, 1 evening meal was forgotten and arrived after everyone else had finished. Nothing offered or deducted for this. Same thing at breakfast, twice. Had to repeatedly wait lengthy periods to give order or chase up order for hot drinks. Extra charges on check out bill for having coffee with the included breakfast. No iron or ironing board. No T&C facilities in room. Buffet breakfast had practically stale rolls & pastries - just so dry and felt as though they were yesterday’s - Except for last day when they were soft inside! Quality of food overall was quite poor - the prices were high for the quality. I would recommend eating out. Location further than expected from the hustle n bustle of Sirmione - 30 min walk.

I liked the location of the hotel, near the lake. Also the rooms, although slightly outdated, are very clean, the mattress and pillows comfortable. I appreciated the kindness of the lady at reception

I didn't like the fact that there were no mosquito nets and although it was very hot in the room, I couldn't keep the terrace door open because of the multitude of insects

Location is great right beside the lake. Pool is also great and two younger waiting staff were lovely and spoke English. Hotel was pet friendly which was lovely even if we didnt have a pet with us.

Breakfast was not great- undercooked eliments, flies on uncovered food, difficult layout for flow for self service- delay in restocking empty items and seemed understaffed for amount of guests. Dinner availability was unpredictiable- some days offered some days not.Bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard, and AC was fixed and could not be lowered. Room was smaller than expected.

Great pool, beautiful view, nice hotel, close enough to the downtown and castle area to ride a bike or take a quick drive. Helpful and polite staff.

The location is fantastic. Breakfast is basic. Rooms are clean and tidy.

I almost don’t want to share my feedback, as this place is a hidden gem. Location great, walkable to Sirmione and right by lake with wonderful pool.We had a very friendly welcoming by staff and throughout.Rooms didn’t look amazing on internet but we were positively surprised by them. They are very functional with nice balconies and the place is outstandingly clean (and trust me I can be quite picky!)

Breakfast options was bigger than many other Italian places but not up to other international standards.

Room was great with a nice sized balcony with views of the lake. The garden is perfect with sun beds and shades. Walking distance in to town and great parking facilities. Bar service in the garden was really good also.

Breakfast was nice but quite simple. We have had much better buffet breakfast tables.

The hotel is situated in a quiet position next to the lake with it's own jetty and beach area with sunbeds and parasols. The swimming pool, which has steps, was very refreshing and was cleaned each day.. It is far enough from all the hustle and bustle for a good night's sleep but near enough for an amble into the old town. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The bed was very comfortable with maid service each day and fresh towels too. The view from the balcony was beautiful, overlooking the lake and capturing the sunshine each day. Breakfast dining was inside or on the terrace outside overlooking the lake with a plentiful buffet and lots of choice. The meal from the restaurant on our first day was superb and cooked to perfection. Coffee making facilities in the room would have been an added bonus, but we would definitely stay again in a heartbeat regardless. Thank you.

Breakfast only started from 8 am . Not good for early check out or early start to day. Rules about food and irons in room very restrictive.

Staff were extremely helpful and would do anything for you. Location was good too, about 25mim walk to the castle.The view from our room was beautiful and was lovely it had a balcony

Could do with a bit more food options, but still found something to eat fine

As a single person I dislike the way I pay almost as much for a single bed in a much smaller room because I had to travel on my ownDifficult if one doesn't have their own transport, very difficult to get a taxi

The hotel is in a good location, right by the lake. It has a great pool and plenty of sunbeds. The hotel restaurant cooks excellently, drinks can be ordered on a deck chair. Breakfast quite OK, but the same every day.Parking in garages under the hotel.It is about a 30-minute walk to the center of Sirmione, you can use the bus.Sirmione is a wonderful romantic town full of good restaurants, great wine and delicious ice cream.A short distance from the hotel (by car) are vineyards, where you can buy local wine, and a long promenade around the lake (on foot).There are better beaches and swimming nearby than the hotel.

The hotel is older, the rooms are small, the air conditioning is weak (still 23 degrees), the shower is small, the equipment is old.The room on the ground floor had a balcony with a view of the "garden" to noisy air conditioning units and the crane - unfortunately we only used the balcony for drying swimwear.Disgusting instant coffee at breakfast! When we wanted real coffee (espresso), the waitress at breakfast wanted to pay it.The water in the lake near the hotel was not very clean. We only use the pool.
