Hotel Ideal

The staff was wonderful. The room was clean and had a balcony with a lovely view of the lake. The bar, restaurant and pool were all good choices too.

Although there is an accessible beach, this is via some steep staircases and there is a rock platform that is very wide and the water is at mid calf level for a long way.

This property has the best location at the very tip of Sirmione. It also has a private beach that you can access with a key. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were comfortable with good air-conditioning. Simone at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Staff were brilliant- especially Sebastian on reception and Fabio in the restaurant, who both made sure we had a wonderful holiday. Beautiful surroundings with incredible views of the lake. This was our honeymoon and all the hotel staff made it very special for us.

The property is in an exceptional location with easy walking distance to all the places.

The only thing was that it was very hard to get a taxi. Make sure to make arrangements before arrival.

What a lovely little hotel at the top of Sirmione! The rooms are very spacious, and the location is great. It’s just a 5-7 minute walk to the main centre or you can get one of the little trains that go back and forth every few minutes for €1.40. The food in the restaurant isn’t bad and the pool area is wonderfully quiet - you can lie looking at the pool or turn around and look at the lake! The staff are also brilliant. I want to give a special shout out to Sebastiano who gave us so many great recommendations for things to do and places to eat - and also to Sascha.

We had a lovely few days at Hotel Ideal and the location is excellent. Rooms were basic but very clean.The staff were helpful especially Sebastiano who was very helpful throughout our stay. He answered any questions we had and was the person who made our holiday so enjoyable.

It was out of the center in a quietee area with a great view. Personnel was nice and helpful.

Room was a little small.

Everything was fabulous! Location, view, grounds, food, and not least the staff.

Charge for the on site parking was a little steep, especially as we were on a motorcycle and did not occupy much space.

Surprised not to see drink facility (kettle for tea and tassimo or similar) in the room for morning drinks. Very small shower but ok for a quick clean, beds were very hard but this is just preference so can't please everyone! More hangers than the 8 in each room would be good. Drink to pool service could also be a good option for you?

Clean nove rooms with nice view. Nice location, but require you to drive through extremely narrow and crowded streets in Sirmione. Have parking.

Horrible restaurant, bad food, poor service, no service by the pool. Facilities old. Far from a four star hotel. Not possible to use pool in the evening. Real dissapointing hotel.

The outside wasn’t flash but inside was clean, large rooms, amazing view, nice pool, central, great staff and great experience.

If you want to wisit Sirmione in the best way this is THE place!! Beautiful sourinding, ruins are right avay (8€ entry) , there is small panoramic bus that goes every few min to centre and back, one way is 1.20€, wich is realy worth it going back to hotel as you go up to hotel.All litle things that are not quite great at hotel realy does not mater as this is perfect location. After busy wisit overcrouded city litle peace and quiet is refreshing. Pool is great. Food is not the best but not bad allso ( we are gurmans so...). You have lot of other restaurants near by. Experience if you coming with the car is driving tru the centar, my advice morning, as later are to many people to avoid.

Location and grounds are beautiful. Hotel very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast provided.

Hotel a bit dated. Room though very clean did not smell nice upon entering. No tea/ coffee facility in room.

The staff was phenomenal. Simone, Sasha, and Sebastián especially were amazing.

The location was beautiful, but I didn't realize how steep the walk was from the heart of Simione. I have a bad knee. However, when my knee is repaired I will return. Also, with a car, it is an IDEAL location. Again, the staff came to my rescue the first day and drove us up the hill with our luggage.

Location was great and the staff were very accommodating. This Hotel is beautiful and worth a visit! The private beach, pool and attached restaurant were all very nice.

The drive to hotel is a little awkward just take your time through the streets and pay close attention to the traffic lights.

Super location, just a short walking distance from the busiest areas so nice and quiet. Lovely staff. Delicious breakfast with loads of variety. Fab pool and garden even though we didn't get a chance to use it. Parking was cheap.

Room was on the smaller side which we struggled with having loads of luggage. Air con didn't work/could not figure it out so room was baking.

Fourth visit to this hotel, one of my favourites. Location on the tip of the peninsula of Sirmione is perfect. View over the lake and the Roman villa. Town centre about 1.5 km, but there is a frequent shuttle, so you don't have to walk. Ferry from Sirmione to all parts of the lake. Lots of places to eat. Hotel has private parking. Large well equipped room with large terrace had bathroom with bath, as requested. Bar. Large dining room overlooking the lake for breakfast and dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Difficult to find things not to like.

The hotel is so nice and the staff very friendly. We had Mr. Sebastiano welcoming us. He was so helpful with tips about what to visit and where to go around Sirmione. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Maybe just the location a little bit far from the actual center of Sirmione, where all the shops are. But not far at all anyway, just a 10 mins walk or a few minutes ride on the little train going up and down

Great location within easy walking distance to beaches, restaurants and attractions. Property was very clean and comfortable.
