Hotel Ca' Serena

I enjoyed the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room.

I wish the hotel would have told us about the swimming opportunities right outside the back door. No one was there our first day, as it was chilly, so we assumed it was for boating only.

No elevator

Everything was excellent. I would have rated the staff even higher. Sergio and the others, went above and beyond to help make our stay and travel the best ever.

My restroom had a sliding door that didn't work! it would close from the inside but would not open again unless someone was on the other side to open it. They sent a person to fix it after a day or so but it didn't get fixed. My stay in that room was frustrating having to deal with that door!!

The location and the staff. There is parking available. The breakfast is good, although it is served in another hotel.

The room was very cold and the heating could not be increased. There is a device to adjust the air conditioning, but it does not work.

I loved everything here. From the amazing price to the fantastic smiling and helpful staff to the breathtaking view from my room and how exceptionally clean everything was.

Kind staff, free parking, amazing location.

Easy to miss the turn by car. Water pipes were loud next door.

Restaurant was really good, the staff was incredibly nice. They even opened the tarrace just for us so we could eat dinner with a view. Breakfasts were good value for money as well.

You don't even check-in in the hotel you paid for...We had to go to another hotel, we got a room in the corner of nowhere with no view, which you entered through a big sliding glass door. That wad also the only window in the bedroom so it is impossible to open the window for the night to get some fresh air.We were told that the thermostat is set and we should leave it as it is, it was FREEZING in the evening (it was November and the sliding door is not a great isolation). The radiator on the bathroom was dirty, we had to clean it before putting towels on it. Hair dryer was so bad it wasn't even funny. The trash bin in the bathroom was broken, when we opened it manually instead the lead came off and it was dirty as well...Since I am used to sleeping in the tent for me it was good value. When I said it to my girlfriend who was freezing under the blanket with het wet hair, she punched me in the ribs. I guess you have to answer yourself if it's worth it to save up by staying here.

We got a lakeview room and it had amazing garda river view. We got a small balcony in the room so we enjoyed the river view very much. The position is excellent to stay close to lake in tranquil area. The breakfast is various, delicious and abundant. The service is great too. All.of the staffs were kind and polite.

There were some dust in the room. I am a bit allargic to dust, so it was a bit bothering.

The room was very uncomfortable. Cold, noisy and the third floor without elevator. With languages it was difficult to get on 3rd floor.

As an objective remark, the situation with the rooms when booking at Ca' Serena is quiet unusual. We booked with Ca' Serena, only to be told to go to the reception at Hotel Marolda (across the street). There they again crossed the road with us and took us to some houses with rooms next to Hotel Ca' Serena. So basically they have a bunch of buildings and you don't really know exactly where you will end up :)) Luckily, our room was quite nice.- Very spacious rooms- Fridge was available and two ACs. - Very close to the lake (1-2 minutes walking to the edge)- Ca' Serena restaurant vis-a-vis the house. - The bus stations for travelling through Sirmione-Colombare very close by (1-2 minutes walking)- Very peaceful area- A COOP (supermarket) is available within 10-13 minutes walking. Also plenty of shops and eating places along the way- The Sirmione castle is a short 2 Eur bus ride north (about 9 min, and the bus comes about every 15 min).

- Unfortunately the heating didn't quite work, probably due to the heating laws in Italy so it was kind of cold, but a blanket was provided so that helped.

We stayed just one night, so alltogether the room was ok. Breakfast was excellent. Location was also excellent because the hotel is direct on the coast of the lake. Hotel has its own parking, but is a bit overcrowded. They are pet friendly, which is also excellent.

Just outside our room window were trash cans. They could be somewhere else.

the apartment is in a good location, very comfortable. Clean bed linen and towels are important.

I would like it to be a little cleaner. Because we found some black hair on the floor, but overall everything is good.

I really loved the view from the room and the terrace! Hotel has its own restaurant and breakfast serving. Rooms are nice and have a mini fridge.Hotel offers free parking.Really exceptional stay!

We stayed at the top most floor and it could get a bit hot in the room. But all windows could be opened.

The hosts are incredibly kind and supportive. They helped us find the nearest grocery store and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The location is perfect—near Lake Como, yet tucked away in the mountains with a charming, rustic village vibe complete with chickens and roosters. The room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. There’s a relaxing chill zone with a pool and a wonderful outdoor dining area with stunning mountain views. 10/10.
