Hotel Meridiana

The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful. Fabulous newly updated Restaurant. Outdoor seating has a view of park and trees all around. Hotel is quiet as it is located at the other end of the pedestrian shopping area but just five or ten minute walk away from it all.

Location. Price and clean.

They had turned off a/c already. But brought us fans.

Family owned. Great staff. Perfect location. Easy walk to and from old town.

Breakfast starts at 8. Would have liked it 7:30!!!!

Great location, lovely view from the room, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

It would be nice to have a socket on each side of the bed (we only had one on one side), but this is a very minor detail.

Not one thing!

Location was superb in the old town of Sirmione. It's next to the Maria Callas villa. Short walk to the town, also a 10 minute walk to the Catallus Grotto. Spacious room. Very comfortable. Good selection at breakfast including delicious cakes. Lovely roof top terrace with views of lake. Also rooftop garden. My husband is coeliac and was given gluten free food at breakfast by the waitress. Was also able to eat from the buffet, which had hot bacon, eggs and sausage. Staff very helpful especially in terms of information on visiting other towns etc. The hotel has a restaurant at which you can eat during the day or evening. Highly recommended.

We liked everything.

We had an excelent stay in Sirmione, at Margherita’s hotel. She was a great host, offering us information, help, recommendations. We loved the city and the location of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We had parking in the inner yard of the hotel, and it was a very interesting experience to drive with the car through the castle to get there. I recomand hotel Meridiana!

Nothing bad to say about it.

Great staff. Terrace room very comfortable. Staff were outstanding. Location.

Transportation. As an alternative to booking a taxi to arrive (we could not give a time as we were flying in from London) it should be noted that a regular taxi from a railway station would be permitted to enter the historic area.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location. Good value. Big room with a private patio. Beds were soft and comfortable.

Air conditioner was ok, could have been stronger.

The location is quite nice. The hotel reception stuff is really kind and nice to me!

Only the smell of hotel towels and detergent left was not so pleasant for me. And the breakfast service stuff kind of ignored me.

Very attentive staff. This is particularly noteworthy. They are customer-oriented. Breakfast was enough. The place is quiet and the views of the lake are nice. I enjoyed having coffee on the veranda and enjoying the lake view and the tranquility. Dinner is delicious. The water in the bathroom was quite hot and had great pressure. It was quite clean. Overall, I was with my mother and we are both satisfied.Thank you and when I return to Sirmione I will definitely choose your hotel again.

It's not necessary, but it would be nice to have a mini-bar in the room (some drinks and snacks), as well as a kettle and glasses.

The soundproofing between the rooms isn't very good (a regular issue in Italy) so you can hear talking etc from neighbouring rooms.

The staff at Meridiana are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, especially the cakes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the shower is very small. Overall our best experience in Italy so far, we'd happily stay there again.

Great communication with the staff and the owner! Very spacious room with a king sized bed! Continental breakfast and delicious food in the restaurant!

The staff was very nice and the location was really good although a little difficult to get to using a car.

Not much variety during breakfast and some of the pastries were old.

Amazing hotel, excellent location, managed by a wonderful couple who are super professional, polite, warm, friendly, generous and hospitable. The hotel provides parking in a generally speaking difficult area to find parking, and they also have a very well rated restaurant. Clean rooms, well decorated and organised with additional wonderful common places. 100% recommended.

Beautiful hotel, great location, wonderful breakfast. What could be better!!! The staff was very nice, very friendly, and spoke English very well, which was a plus for us. The location was great, walking distance to everything. The breakfast was the best so far. Eggs, ham, homemade pastries and bread. Wonderful!!!

Communication on how to get onto the island would have helped. It was a restricted area, and you had to drive through crowds of people on narrow streets to get to the hotel.
