We didn’t have a car and we went to another hotel in the nearby town of Desenzano, that had the same name, rather than this hotel in Sirmione, ( this hotel), by ferry and walking, only to discover the error on our part. With bags in tow, we took a taxi back to this Hotel Villa Rose. It was an expensive, time consuming and emotional mistake, but once we got to this hotel, in Sirmione, the owners were so very nice and welcoming.

Super friendly staff and very helpful. We needed to change a booking and they called from the reception for us and sorted us out. They gave us a bunch of tips for discounted activities and even opened breakfast earlier for us as we needed to leave early on departure day. Also the rooms while they are not big are super efficiently organised with exactly the furniture you need. Breakfast was very good and had a family vibe.

Staff were so friendly, did everything they could to welcome us and make our holiday great. They were efficient, polite And always smiling. The hotel is spotlessly clean and serviced every day. The breakfast was freshly prepared and presented beautifully. Easy to find, in good location . We felt like we stayed with family The beds were so comfortable

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The owners were very helpful and recommended a lot of great things to do in the area. Our time in Sirmione was much better thanks to their recommendations. The included breakfast was also very nice. A lot of choices so there is something for everyone. Breakfast staff were very friendly and made a point to remember us and our drink orders from the day before. Air conditioning worked well and kept the room nice and cool.Location was good for us, but it really depends on what you will be doing in the area. There is a cheap shuttle with regular service to the castle or pretty much anywhere else you want to go in Sirmione.

Bathroom was a little dated, but it was clean and completely functional.

Lovely family hotel with a warm welcome, someone always available to help and guide you around the area. Room was lovely and we had a beautiful balcony and lake views. Smart TV which was a nice bonus when we chilled after exploring. We liked the area outside for a drink in the evening and breakfast was lovely for what we wanted and staff very friendly and attentive. Loved Garda, loved this hotel and great value for money.

Lovely hotel at an excellent location. Staff are amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. My partner and I brought out 1 year old and everyone at the hotel both staff and guests made us feel like family and treated our little fell like a Prince. Would be more than delighted to return to stay here again and I'm sure I will when the little one is a bit older. This is a beautiful location with nice wine and drink everywhere you go.

Rooms are a bit small for very young children, not a dislike but more an observation

Comfortable, clean, great location, close shops and local restaurants. 30 min pleasant walk to castle and ferries.

Sofa in our room was a bit threadbare but suspect it will replaced during the down season. Shower cubicle very small but ok.

The breakfast selection was great and the staff were so friendly and welcoming each morning and nothing was to much trouble. It really set you up for your day ahead. First class service. The hotel itself and our room was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable. The owners were so helpful giving us information on how to get around and helping us no end with a personal issue we had whilst on holiday . Would definitely recommend a stay at this wee gem of a hotel !!

This was a delightful, friendly place to stay. The efficiency and professionalism of the sisters who own it was exceptional. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and we loved the garden room where we could relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Parking was convenient on site for a daily charge. Location was great for the small newer town and lakeside with a good choice of restaurants nearby. A brisk 20 minute walk will get you to the stunning old town of Sirmione-not to be missed.

We struggled to find the hotel on Google maps and ended up parking in a a public car park and walking a few minutes to find it-maybe tell future guests that it is located beside Cucina 31 which will make finding it from the car easier.

Diego, Laura and Patricia look after all of their guests like family. The rooms are so clean and comfortable with fresh towels daily. The hotel is just beside the shuttle bus to sirmione and straight across the road from the lake where you can hire sun loungers and swim. If you choose to walk to the old town of sirmione it is a pleasant 20 min walk. We enjoyed breakfast each morning with Laura and at night Diego made the best apresol spritz. We definitely will stay at hotel villa Rosa if we return to sirmione in the future. Thank you so much for your warmth and friendly welcome. Also for all the information and advice you shared with us to make our holiday so good.

there was a parking in the yard of the villa, it wasn’t full but we had to pay 18E

The property was clean and very comfortable. The pillows were unreal. I slept so well. The staff were amazing and helped us out no end with directions and tips about where to go and what to see. We had a wonderful time.

Very good located, very close to the lake and to the best restaurants from Sirmione.The hosts are very friendly and very nice, you feel like home.

Super friendly staff, everyone knew who we were and felt like a little family. Great views onto Lake Garda and the room was spotless. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and all very tasty.

There's nothing not to like

Good location, excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. We would come back again.

Good location for the price.

I don’t like the fact the air conditioning was disconnected so didn’t have an option for it, even when the booking details the accommodation has air con. The last night of our stay we were very warm in our room, and we were told when we got there that because of the weather we should open our balcony door for cooler air! I don’t expect to have to do this when air con is advertised! There is also no iron supplied which in 2024 who doesn’t? It’s such a basic thing to have and let people use. The hair dryer was pathetic, old fashioned and needs updating. We wanted use of our room after breakfast but the cleaners were in there straight away and so we had to wait for them to finish before we could shower and get ready for the day, if they supplied a ‘clean my room’ card or something like that it would make that understanding a lot easier as the following day there was so much confusion when asking them not to clean our room as we go for breakfast. Overall I would say this place needs to make improvements.
