Hotel Derby

I loved the quiet; it was not crowded with tourists. The proprietors, a husband and wife, were so gracious and helpful; they made me feel like I was home. It is across the street from Lake Garda which was stunningly beautiful. It was an authentic experience not one created for tourists. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and wish I could have stayed longer. It was the relaxing respite I needed.

We had a great stay. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean with everything you need close by.

The owners are the nicest people. The location is beautiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much!

The personal touch by the owners, Laura and Sergio, was second to none, they ensured you had everything you needed and made time to provide any information you required. They are genuine, warm and friendly people who also provide great accommodation and a really good breakfast.

Both, my wife and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Derby. We felt very welcome by Laura and Sergio and they accomodated all our needs during our trip in Sirmione. They were extremely lovely and friendly hosts. We strongly recommend this place.

Hotel exceptionally located, great breakfast and Sergio and Laura really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a homely stay in the Sirmione area.

Could only stay 3 Nights, Would loved to stay longer at Hotel Derby and Just Relax

I really enjoyed talking with the owners (it's a family business), when coming back from the day long visits. They are a nice and accommodating couple. It was also really nice to have a small balcony where I enjoyed the cool air in the evenings or at night.

The breakfast didn't include that many options, but you can get by with it for a couple of days of staying. The room was relatively modest and the bathroom rather on the small side, but I knew what to expect before arriving and I was just using the space for sleeping and getting ready in the mornings. The motel is somewhat far from Sirmione center, if that is your main interest, but there are local buses you can take.

Great location, in front of the lake, with nice restaurants around. Private parking available. Rooms very clean and comfortable, good towels that were regularly changed. Nice breakfast. We felt specially welcomed by he hosts who were incredibly kind, and provided lots of good tips for our trip.

This is a small family business hotel, reminding of the 70's, but very well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a balcony with lake view. Our hosts were always smiling and available, they provided with good advices.There is a small parking lot for 7 or 8 cars.

The buffet breakfast, although rich, didn't include vegetables. The hotel is near a main street, we could hear some traffic noise during the night, especially loud motorcycles.

The breakfasts were very poor, few things and every single day was exactly the same, not impressedBed was EXTREMLY uncomfortable it was old matress with springs and you can feel every single one of themThere is no kettle in the room which should be a standard nowadays

It was a lot further than described on booking. Com. The beds do need to be upgraded.

The owners were very nice and accommodating, felt right at home. Breakfast was just fine, after a couple days repeating, but still good. Room wes small, but nice, we had a balcony looking at the garden, road and lake. Very clean, towels and sheets changed every day, exceptional service. Would recommend to my friends.

Bed mattrases were a bit springy and not really comfy, otherwise everything was really good.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities. The location was also very good, with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

A very small problem - the room did not have an ironing board.

The staff were absolutely exceptional! Amazing people that made me feel at home immediately. They provided me with great recommendations and also made me breakfast early on the day of my checkout. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of lago di Garda. The Wi-Fi worked well and everything was very clean.

There was nothing that I did not like. The facility was exactly as advertised. The staff are amazing people.
