Universal Casa Marquesa

Beautiful surroundings, the pool area has great views and shady sun loungers so great to relax and spend some time sunbathing and then cooling off in the pool. Fantastic honesty bar where you can pick up refreshments including wine from their own vineyard (also worth a tour and tasting from the fantastic and knowledgable team in the wine shop. Great breakfast and picturesque setting for dinner if you stay at the casa in the evenings.

Basic small clean room, great little balcony.

The hotel is very close to a beautiful beach. We had wonderful buffet-breakfast. The reception is very helpful with everything. Colonia de Sant Jordi is also very nice town with restaurant opportunities.

Check-in can be confusing as there are two hotels and this is the additional building but you have register yourself in the reception of the main building. Car parking is expensive.

Everything was great

I loved my room in the Casa Universal Marques. It was quiet and only a short walk from the main hotel.

Was not clear that we were staying in an annex and not the hotel. Never felt part of the hotel more like an outsider. Shame as the hotel looked lovely

We loved this location. The breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had in Europe and Caribbean. The front desk staff was out of this world and so helpful and attended to our needs promptly. Even the maintenance man was amazing and remembered us the next day. Can't say enough about the staff. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

The shampoo could have been better and maybe some conditioner. Everything else was perfect.

Location was great, walking distance to beach. Good selection of food at breakfast. We stayed in the villas and not the main hotel, quiet and modern.

Staff where not helpful. Giving incorrect advice about transport options and not advising us properly about shuttle bus, taxi and public bus options. Unfortunately this caused a lot of stress for making plans for the airport before leaving, Gabriella gave incorrect information about buses and did not attempt to help with taxi info, just saying that they were unavailable and advising of 3 bus changes to get to the airport (when infact there was a more direct route). In the end we were lucky to speak to Mia, who was able to arrange a taxi for us to the airport. Staff require more training as it was always hit and miss.We had issues with the shower- either burning hot or stone cold. We asked for this to be looked at 3 times, but this was not fixed during our 5 day stay unfortunately. For the price we would have expected better customer service and facilities.

The location is amazing. Food selection was also good and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Haven't seen such amazing and kind people in a very long time.

Great location close to the beach

The gym had little, quite old and torned out equiptment.

Nice, clean and relaxing. Perfect to live in the Villa instead of the hotel when it's blowing and it's more privat. You can still have breakfast and use the pool at the hotel if you like.Don't miss a walk to the fantastic Es Trenc, nice walk along the cost about 2 km.

Not easy to find a parking space and not possible to book before arriving.

The location was great. The room was very new and clean. Variety of breakfast and the service was excellent.

As the Villa Marquesa is managed by Universal, I believe there is so missing information for check-in. We made our online checking and booked a shuttle from the Booking, but we arrived late in the night and had to ask around where we should checking and get ours key.

Actually the Villa itself is closed now and we got a room in the Universal Hotel Marqués nearby, which was also quite good (although couldn´t compare with the Villa), but all the facilities are anyway in this hotel. Breakfast is really good with a lot of dishes to choose from. Covid tests can be done in the hotel if requiews (upon pre-order).

Hotel has only a few parking slots (paid extra). If you come by car, it might be hard to find a free place near the hotel, although you can always park in 5-10 min walking distance.
