Pros +
- Clean. Friendly. Great location.
- The only plus it was right on the Camino .
- I like the location. Very central. I was doing the Camino de Santiago so it was right in the way
Cons -
- The air conditioning is a central unit. It was 80 outside and you could not turn the air on in your room . TV wasn’t working , could not call the receptionist on the main line. The hotel is dated and got stuck in the 1980 . Sorry
- The hotel is a little outdated. Rooms need renovation
- The window in our room opened to a space very close to another room. I felt a little claustrophobic.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked having a restaurant in the hotel.

Right on the Camino path. Great breakfast, comfortable beds.
location
no view, outdated and most of all: you hear the neighbours talk and walk..
Simple, clean and decent price.
Elevator was a little scary. Jerked a lot when stopping so you think it’s breaking down.
We came in August walking the Camino, so the air conditioning was top priority for our comfort and sleep, and this hotel delivered! In addition, the beds were very comfy and the room was very clean! The location was perfect as well with plenty of food options, including a market next door.
We finished our walk early that day, and they told us to come back at 2pm for check in. We ended up coming back at 1, and they didn’t seem to be checking if the room was ready. Instead it was more like a policy of not letting anyone check in until 2, so at 2 there was a line of people. Not a long wait because most like us has been in earlier to sign papers and so forth, but usually if the room is ready a hotel lets you check in.
Great location, good shower with hot water, comfortable bed
There is no air conditioning, despite saying there is. There's a central fan that blows less warm air through a single vent near the ceiling. Most of the year it's probably fine, but there's a heat wave now and we spent the whole night sweating.
They accommodated our bikes.
Smelled like raw sewage upon arrival. Staff were ok, but when we complained about the horrific smell they only sprayed some type of intense spray in the bathroom.
Spacious room and clean. Location is on Camino path
Nice Hotel in Pontevedra
Needs Modernisation as a little dated. Sufficient for one night stay
Right on the CaminoQuiet locationNice staffClean rooms
Rooms were a showing their age Our toilet was tricky to flush
Breakfast was great (not included). Location in the Portuguese Camino. Large bathroom.
Older facility.
Comfortable, clean & great value
The breakfast looked bad for the price they ask
Breakfast was just ok. Liked being close to the old city. We had a first floor room with window opening to a concrete area with mechanical units—not pleasant.
The room & on suite were clean. There was a veranda with sliding doors to it. It was lovely to be able to sit there and enjoy watching what was happening outside on the street. The receptionist filled our keep cups with hot water which was very nice.
It would have been good to have two chairs as we booked the room for 2 people. Also, it would have been good to have access to a kettle to have hot water to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted instead of having to ask the receptionist.
It was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The windows opened on an inner small square with buildings all around. So we didn’t have a nice view. It was dark so we had to have the lights on all the time.It was a bit of a surprise to us as some days before we had stayed in a bright room with a lovely veranda for the same price! We were very disappointed.
The restaurant was amazing , excellent food , and staff were super helpful Was good on the camino route. Excellent value for money
Breakfast , some food was cold but everything else was more than fine.
Right on the Camino, which was especially helpful in the foul weather we experienced. The bar was good. Shower good. Blankets provided on request.
Cold!
