    Pros +

    • It’s very beautiful with a nice garden and pool to hang out. The room was very beautiful and I the bathroom huge.
    • Beautiful palace, the room was very confortable, the breakfast in the patio Just perfect !
    • Quiet & easy to park. Short walk into centre of Artá

    Cons -

    • There wasn’t staff around most of the time, and the hotel felt quite deserted. The construction outside the hotel and all over town is unfortunate and the drive there quite a puzzling challenge. Way better instructions ahead of time and clear signage would be a big plus.
    • Bed not comfortable & basic breakfast
    • Little on street parking available but public car park close by. We were aware of this and knew that this would be the case.

Location - size of room and breakfast. In a nice town full of life. 4 poster.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in: Art everywhere but in a tasteful manner, unique and impecable room with superb bath, beautiful bar and a gorgeous garden.

Maybe the mattresses and pillows weren’t perfect for us, and we may have issues about the caged birds (poor things!). But this stay is a real experience!

The room was beautiful and very spacious. Always very clean and with fresh towels and linen very frequently. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed to (bathroom problems and breakfast time). The location was perfect, it’s close to the big parking lot.

The toilet was not flushing properly but the staff were very helpful anytime of the day.

The interiors in hotel and the rooms are made with great fantasy, many colours, old furniture mixed with modern art and free fantasy; we were here 5 years ago and therefore came back. The hotel and the room was heated when we arrived, and the air conditioner could keep it warm without difficulty. The garden is nice and we could sit a little in the sun (our private terrace was facing north). Young personal serving breakfast were friendly.

we were not received by manager, but had instructions of how to find the room. We did not see him much, and were not met with any enthusiasm. No coffee/tee in room, and in the self service bar it was not easy, and not very clean, with open, full garbage bin which had not been emptied on our second day. No drinking glasses in room. The bed was not wide for 2 and felt humid as there was a plastic protection under the sheet. Breakfast had no fresh orange juice and food was mediocre, coffee ok. Arta has very little life in January; most people around were German, who maybe stay here over winter or have a place here. At restaurants they start with German as if it is taken for given. Maybe the town is charming in the summer, but in the winter it is not.

Very well maintained rooms, 100% price/quality. Intended to stay 1 night, ended up staying 4. Good location to explore the area. Hostal connected to very cozy and quality restaurant with a view on the marina. Recommended.

The spacious room, cleanliness and friendly staff. The easiness to reach the hotel staff via WhatsApp.

The jacuzzi wasn't working. The area is quite conjusted. However there is a free parking field near by.

Fabulous location and historical ambience makes this one of the best hotels we had the pleasure to stay in during a two week vaca on Mallorca and Barcelona. Surrounded by a beautiful church and a huge medieval fort, we felt that we were in some kind of historical time bubble.. The owner was very helpful and accommodating, along with the staff who came up with a very tasty breakfast. There are views galore from your large well anointed room, beautiful grounds and to cap it off easy parking in a big lot steps away. Be sure and catch the sunrise, surrounding the nearby church in a breathtaking flow of early morn red. Unforgettable. Arta iis a neat town, and this hotel is one of the main reasons.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, lovingly restored and full of character and charm. We had a huge bedroom and bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Lovely breakfast, enjoyed the swimming pool and sitting on the terrace. There is a self service bar and beautiful lounge.

    Liked everything!

Timetravel. As a customer said before: imagine if you just arrived one of your friend's early 20. century small "palace", and he just left you a key to you with the sentence "Hi guys, here you have your key to the "X" suit at the 1st floor ... we will meet at the breakfast, enjoy the stay." Its not luxury, its extraordinary, its different. Note: we only have 1 night there.

One of the parrots was really loud in the breakfast area .... they should talk with him/her about it... :D

We loved the quick night stay we had here. It was very charming and unique.

Unfortunately the bed and pillows were so cheap and uncomfortable, we could not sleep and most of the night we laid awake in discomfort. We would come back but would need to bring our own pillows at least! Still a lovely hotel. Very kind staff!!

It felt like entering a friend’s luxury home. Very stylish. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The owner is friendly.

    Superb

It was very hot but the AC was superb! And the pool cool!

    8LesleyPosted on: 7-25-2024

Beautiful old building with interesting history. Fantastic honesty bar, very well stocked. Never seen so much coffee making equipment in a hotel! Perfectly situated for all local attractions and amenities.

One English family of 6 dominated the entire pool area, using all 8 seats on our arrival afternoon, and one of them was participating in a video conference with the speaker on the whole time.

On the edge of Artà but easily walkable to the centre. Easy parking. Large room, large bathroom. AC. Friendly cleaning staff

The room I was given has only low level windows that looked out to a narrow street (small and no view). The terrasse is an artificial grass carpeted roofless cube walled in on all 4 sides so no breeze or view. The furniture and decoration in the room was in dire need of updating. When I requested a room change, the owner/manager informed me this was the most popular room. The court yard, which has caged birds, needs care and attention. Don’t believe the photos! Little to no staff presence whose job it is to give guests assistance or make the place welcoming. The cleaning staff I met were genuinely lovely but had no authority.

Very healthy and abundant breakfast, superb room (comfortable, big, clean, nicely decorated and quiet), and really friendly and welcoming staff. Good WiFi if you need to work. Beautiful cacti garden and pool area.

Nothing comes to mind. It doesn't have a restaurant for dinner or lunch but there are good options in town all within walking distance.

Beautiful place, peaceful. Stunning view from the room. Very comfortable large room and bathroom. The staff was fantastic, and breakfast amazing. Great value for money and location just perfect. Easy parking just next to the Palacio. Smooth check-in despite our late arrival, and overall really great service.

This is very personal. Being used to sleep in darkness, the curtains in the room let in too much light for me. The room got also very hot and the only option to cool it down is air conditioning which isn't for me, I prefer ceiling fans. But overall still an amazing experience!
