Hotel Xaloc Playa

The location fantastic, beautiful area, really close to the beach, lovely restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Good transport links, bus to Mohon regularly from the hotel. Very friendly and safe, Idea for families and all age groups.

The staff were very helpful and very kind.Excellent customer service and support from Sandy (Receptionist). Guillén in the Restaurant always welcomed us with a lovely smile and he was always happy to accommodate our requests. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday a memorable experience.

The facilities were great, everything was clean & tidy! The pool always had plenty of free sun beds, the bar served snacks/meals around midday and the rooms were always spotless

The mini golf, the swimming pool and the staff’s kindness.

The music was a little too loud on certain evenings and late nights, but it wasn’t too annoying.

The staff were the best! So friendly and ready to give you whatever you need. We made friends here and enjoyed the beach across the street with the restaurants and bars on the boardwalk, our room, breakfast, everything.

The hotel is located few steps away from the Beach. There was evening entertainment. Hotel Bar has good priced alcohol beverage compared with others. Room was spacious. You can hear the waves when you sleep with balcony doors open.

There is no Fridge, no microwave, no complimentary stuffs like tea or coffee. Just beds and the toilet. Air conditioning works with keys in the room. Hotel has buffet that they allow you to see first then decide whether you wanna eat in or not.

Everything was good about the hotel, especially the staff. Yhe check in procedure was straightforward. The food was good, the pool and rear garden area were lovely and well kept. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed and were cleaned every day. Clean towels were also provided every day if you needed them. They also put on live entertainment on some nights, which was good. The hotel was also in an ideal location for the beach, and there were approximately six good restaurants within 400 metres of the hotel and two mini supermarkets where you could buy everything you might need.

My only criticism is with regard to the front garden area, which was a bit of a mess and unkempt. A little time spent on it every week would improve the frontage of the hotel enormously.

Everything was fine

Friendly staff, great location, very clean and a good pool. Breakfast was good too.

The beds are not the most comfortable. The bed moved around when turning over making a scraping noise on the floor. Felt horrible for the people below us as I’m a fidgety sleeper!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and newly refurbished. Location was perfect for our needs.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like .

Great location and despite being very early season the hotel was well prepared to receive guests. Room was spotless and every member of staff I met were very friendly and professional. Breakfast & dinner was buffet style with excellent choice & great value for money. Will definitely visit again.

The cleaning of the room, the smell of the bedsheets and the bath towels were completely bad smelling and too ruined

The Location is Brilliant. Main entrance is directly across from the beach. Staff are wonderful, friendly and courteous.

Bungalows are spacious, however they are vary dated. Mattresses were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Problems with Ants and wood termites most mornings. Paint is peeling off bath tubs. There is a strong fusty odour within the room, especially when the air conditioning is left running for any period of time. Please Note: The bungalow's are cleaned every morning, mopped and supplied with new towels/linen.

Fab location & staff were all ( cleaners , pool man … everyone ) friendly and helpful …

Ummm … perhaps more choice at breakfast

The breakfast was good, little bit more vegetables would be nice.

In bathroom the shower glass wall is not cover enough, floor was wet always after the shower. Also possible improvment could be adjustable shower hand because now it has only one possission.

Large pool with small pool for children. Lovely room with balcony and sea view. Close to gift shops, bars and restaurants. Entertainment 3 times per week.

I was looking for an escape to the sun for 2 days -- this place is perfect! The pool is wonderful and there are lots of chairs for guests. It's across the street from the beach and you can walk not far to other restaurants. You can easily walk or run around the area. The rooms are basic but very clean and exactly what is needed for not spending much time in there. It was quiet at night. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

The breakfast, while plentiful, was mediocre. Lots of options, just a bit underwhelming but worked to keep me full until lunch. That said, I didn't go to Menorca for the food (everywhere I went was fine, not wonderful).

Hotel has a look of quality about it, open areas, pool snack bar all very good. Breakfast excellent wide choice and a few things different every day. Good number of staff around and all the facilities you expect from a 4* hotel.Wifi good enough for our needs Snack Bar during lunch, crazy golf and some evening entertainment a bonus A big thank you to all the staff who work very hard to keep the hotel spotless and are very attentive particularly at Breakfast and the room cleaning is first class

Only slight issue is that the TV did not have one UK/ Ireland / USA TV or Radio channel - but the wifi availability in our room was good enough to compensate
