Insotel Punta Prima Resort

Needs updating and generally fixing back to the standard it probably once was. Overall it was good but I wouldn't rate 5* as suggested, there are better 4* places that I've stayed

Food limited, general snagging in and around the rooms, wasn't finished to the best standard.

The rooms are good size for a family of four, its great place to relax

towards the end of the season, not full range of rooms are available. drunk british tourists discussing about soccer at 3 am in the night.all you can eat and all you can drink mentality to excess.

The two restaurants (Italian & Mexican) was already booked. There was no possibility to book a table during our stay.

Very noisy dining hall, unable to book any other restaurants, no availability after we had checked in We did not enjoy the atmosphere of buffet evening meal, so ate out at the beach restaurants instead, with beautiful sea views and excellent waiter service and enjoyed the authentic local dishes

The view of the ocean and the surroundings is really nice. The waiters were very friendly :)

The room wasn’t really clean and there were ants in the bathroom :( it would be nice to have shower gel also near the bath and to wash your hand instead of a little soap. We had to ask 3 times for a baby crib because they didn’t bring it to our room although we asked it via booking before checking in. You can hear tenants flushing water from the Upper Suite which was annoying at night.The food wasn’t changed so was a bit boring and not really tasty - very sweet joghurts or juices. l would understand if people are entering buffet for the food between some limited time, but it wasn’t nice that if f.e. breakfasts are between 8.30-10.30 the stuff takes out the food so that it is not available and turns off the light in the dinning room as if she wanted to drive away the guests. I was expecting they won’t let you in at 10.30 and not they end their work.

Good variety of food and drinks. Kids pleased to have all the time something to do in the resort.

Poor service, too far and bad food

The outdoor is good, with 3 pools and nice green ares. Possibility to do some sports: gymnasium, tennis, squash are a nice to have specially in rainy days. The short distance to the beach is a plus.

The staff was in many situations unfriendly, unprofessional and incapable. We found our room lacking quality. The mattress and sofa are aged and very uncomfortable. We asked the staff 3 times if it would be possible to replace the mattress, we always got yes as answer but that never happened. For such a resort I would expect way more than what we really got. The food is ok, nothing special which I would expect. Unlimited drinks during the whole day, however with the amount of bees around made it really hard to get to it without being beaten.

The atmosphere, the personal and the facilities are fabulous.

Restaurant buffet quality could be better. Variety is good but for a 5 star hotel it might be of better quality. At the same time, the thematic restaurants, one Italian and one Mexican, were not available fully. The tex mex was closed completely and the italian was more a pasta restaurant with no specific menu.

The staff is very nice, especially Kevin at the reception ! He is so friendly and helpful ! Vielen Dank ! The restaurant staff is so kind ! We really enjoyed ourselves, our children loved the pools and the beach ! We will definitely come back !

It would be nice to have more information about the spa in our room or at the reception so we can make an appointment during our stay. The receptionist at the spa is not kind for a 5 stars hotel... not helpful at all...

Pools were fantatastic. Splash park an extra bonus for kids. Kids club and animation team were exceptional

Rooms were average / basic. Reception staff were poor. Entrance / lobby is unimpressive.

Decor in room was very dated. Sofa bed bed very narrow. Not particularly spacious and kitchenette just a cupboard. Expensive for what it was.

This is the quintessential hotel for a lazy poolside all inclusive break. It’s near to the beach, shops and a few good restaurants. Plenty to keep the kids entertained- poolside activities, evening shows, kids club etc. So much so that I would avoid if you’re a couple looking for a quiet break.

No bottled water is provided in the room, so it’s back and forth from the supermarket. Hotel cleaning team don’t clean you’re apartment kitchen - washing up etc is on you. You have to pay a €20 per person deposit for poolside towels. All of which are a bit weird for “5-star” in our opinion.

Only thing good was the location , near to a beach and also different sizes of pools .

Starting from the first day when we arrived we were offered some botles of water as welcome - all inclusive . Poor gesture for an 5* hotel . Anyway the hotel normally in my opinion is no more than 3* as I have been in different 5* hotels / resorts around the world. Food is very pour , sortiments are like made on the rush , for children no comments , you can not give them that food. The staff is without any entusiast of giving an good experience since this hotel is 5* and all inclusive . I found that in the room there is no drinks in the refrigirator and from reception I was told to go to shop and buy , unbelievable since you are expected to get 5* all inclusive services . There are so many issues that are akward and overall I would never recomand this resort nor for famillies or couples . Finally I was waiting to leave this resort and end my holiday , feeling that I was cheated for the money that I have paid for.

The place is really huge. The location and the structure are really really beautiful.The green is very well looked after and the cleanliness it is top rank!

The staff was really nice but there were simply too many of us and not enough of them. Whatever you needed you had to queue for half an hour... and if what you need happened to be information from reception double the waiting time.For a 5 star resort there was only the buffet restaurant; the food wasn't bad but i was expecting some a la carte service. Also there's only one overcrowded bar with a basic selection o spirits.No air conditioner in the room, just a fan.People were allowed flotation in the swimming pool... it was a carnival!
