A few things

I didn't stay at this hotel although I had booked it.I was changed without my knowledge and received no notice from anyone that I would be staying at a sister hotel.I wanted and booked an adult only hotel but got a family hotel full of children.

Overall, staff wasn’t the most helpful. The first day we checked in and we got our room there tiny ants crawling all over the desk area. We complained and they changed our room after a couple of hours but courtesy of saying sorry and we apologize. The next day there was a massive cockroach which took forever to clean up and get out of our room. We had to keep asking constantly if they were able to remove it. The staff isn’t really helpful and neither would I say the cleaning is up to par. After experiencing all this, on the same day they didn’t change our towels. It was just constantly feeling disappointing by the service. It was more annoying that I was pregnant. Hygiene wise they can do a lot better. We ended up trying to spend most of our time outside the hotel then because no one was really helpful at the hotel. There was attempt of giving us a compensation for any of this. Would definitely say that there are better hotels around Menorca after considering moving out of the hotel in the budget to consider.

this is NOT a relaxing hotel...we leave the busy life and fly to Menorca to disconnect and relax, we expect to sleep. Long sleeps are not possible in this hotel. Rooms: This hotel has ZERO insulation between rooms. You will hear EVERYTHING happening in your neighbor rooms. We were so unlucky to be sandwiched between two couples, one with clear hearing issues and addiction to TV watching it full volume all afternoon and night till very late (we are talking 2-3AM) and then back again in the morning, the other which enjoyed an early morning love consumption with loud enjoyment noises at 6 in the morning... we basically did not sleep.When mentioned to the reception, they said the hotel was fully booked, and they were not able to do anything for us.The bathroom was smelling of sewage, and the door closers are not properly adjusted, every door is slamming all the time (come on, it's not that difficult to adjust them)Food: the breakfast buffet is quite rich, but be careful if you are allergic, the allergens indications are all messed up, you cannot trust them. Also, zero indication on what is vegetarian / vegan and what is not, you will find meat in very weird things.The hotel does not offer a microwave or a bottle opener, meaning that you can't enjoy your own food or drinks easily.Service: when we mentioned all our problems to the reception the only answer was "we are sorry", they didn't try to solve them, no discount, no offer, nothing. They know this and they are trained to don't do anything about it.

- location and free parking,- private pool,- decent selection at breakfast,- kind staff,- clean rooms,- privacy of each apartment,- lovely gardens,- mini fridge,- option for gluten-free bread,- early check-in and check-out + the cold breakfast.Additional details that could improve the stay: cutlery in the apartment with a small kitchen (kinda strange not having anything to eat/cut with), musquito nets (at least on the two windows by the bed).

- squeaky bed, - poor dinner selection (some days),- poorly marked allergens on food,- toilet took 5-10min to refill the water for flushing,- bugs and musquitos (missing musquito nets).

The room we stayed in was a small apartment with bedroom, lounge, bathroom, and kitchenette, which was lovely and spacious. We also had a small private pool out the front which we loved being able to lounge around and cool off without the hustle and bustle of others. Overall comfy and enjoyable, but we only stayed one night so hard to rate all the various things based on this short experience. Loved that the beach club Purobeach was right next door and gives additional perks. A lovely place to lounge and swim!

Didn't really enjoy that the room key is given to you as a wrist band as if we were at a festival...and it doesn't come off until you check out. We only stayed one night but if I was there more than one I would had cut it off right away as showering and sleeping in a wrist band with room key chip did not feel very luxurious....

I spent eight days at your hotel and overall had a very positive experience. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. While I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast offerings over the days, this is criticism at a very high level. The selection was more than sufficient, and the quality of the food was consistently outstanding.

During my stay, I found the long wait by the pool for food and drinks, particularly for the bill, to be somewhat frustrating. It bothered me that I couldn’t leave because no one brought me the bill or allowed me to charge it to my room.Perhaps this is due to my Swiss background and my education in economics, which has made me accustomed to a certain level of speed and precision. Nevertheless, I greatly appreciated the Spanish mentality and was able to embrace some of the calmness and "coolness" that is so characteristic here.

The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a lovely hotel with a spectacular pool area overlooking the sea. The palm trees in the pool area are a special touch and the beds are super comfortable.

The food was OK but maybe a little room for improvement. If you like fish, there’s always a white fish to choose. The paella was there every day for dinner.

Location was beautiful, pools & bar, restaurant staff.

No room service for drinks. Room not cleaned or used crockery taken away. Just bed made.

Staff were so very pleasant. Drinks were served in proper glasses. Entertainment at night great. Food had good choice. My favourite club was very good. Sea view fab. Comfy beds at pool with steps so height good. Bathroom at pool also. Snacks at pool bar nice. Air con in room very good. Balcony big. Shower excellent. Kettle abd coffee making facilitiesin the room. Early cold breakfast provided on departure. This was a trip with my mam and it was very safe and easy. 3 days was perfect ?

The music at the pool was repeated and loud but it was quiet at the adults only pool. The phone in our room did not work and milk and drinks from mini bar not replaced. The cleaning was rushed each day. Nothing else around and there is no beach. There is access to the sea down a steps,/ladder

Layout and cleanliness Spa facilities

The sun beds were comfy. The shower was a good shower. The room had a small fridge. The area itself is small. Supermarket staff very friendly and locals themselves friendly.

Going for meals on your own is intimidating enough without how to fathom out how things work. I had to observe and learn daily. The staff were not helpful in fact management were rude. If you left the table to get a drink you would come back and find your uneaten food had been cleared. I missed quite a few mealtimes and went to a local bar for food which was hot as that was the other fault all supposedly hot food was coldPools area where you were informed you could not reserve beds I found mainly around the large pool were all reserved I questioned this on first day and was told it was a special event for one day only. This was not the case they were reserved everyday. The last day I questioned this with someone else and was informed it was a private club which they have no control and people from outside book the beds. So really we only had complete access to smaller pool. This is not part of the criteria.I also choose this hotel as it stated it was quiet. On the first night practically outside my room there was a special event started early and went on until the early hours around 3am with very loud music. On the few occasions I sat around the pool the music started quite loud observing other people’s reaction they were not impressed I believe this was for their private guests who seemed to get more preferential service than the hotel guestsThe shuttle bus which the hotel offers to Mahon cost 8euros. You must give them a time of going and returning you cannot change your mind for example if the bus was collecting at 2pm and you chose 3,30 you could not change. Absolutely crazy. I did after walking around found a local bus stop less than 4 euros return and you had the freedom of coming and going when you choose.The My Favourite Club gaveYou only access to a room with drinks and sometimes small snacks. Was this worth it! Not for meI did not know there was a local beach Cala Alcaufa. This shows how informative the staff are it is not advertised

The staff are amazing, we come back year after year. Food is great, heavenly location looking out to the sea. Love the fact the staff recognise you and look after you.

Hotel has now become a big chain and guests will now have to pay to lie by the lovely pool. The pool is amazing and well kept but to charge hotel guests crazy money is not good

I’ll be honest I don’t fully understand the situation between the hotel and pool area. We were there in May so low season and could sit anywhere but I did hear in high season you can’t sit in certain places as they sell these spots to the public. So it goes from adults only to not adults only in the pool area. I felt the photos of the pool for this hotel were slightly misleading to be honest. Another point to mention is we were here for only two nights and found nothing in the vicinity of the hotel so got taxis to and from the port to have dinner. Not ideal if you’re staying there longer.

Location is idyllic, staff were friendly and helpful We booked accommodation My favourite club with a swim up pool which we absolutely loved.

No internet to speak of especially in the my favourite club . Food deteriorated as the holiday progressed both quality and choice.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was adequate but far from exceptional but the coffee was dreadful. The hotel decor is tired and ungently needs a refresh.

Ive stayed in this hotel over 10x in the past 20 years. To arrive and find that the main pool was effectively out of bounds unless you pay a surcharge of Euro 150 per week per person was very disappointing. Hotel guests were consigned to an overcrowded area behind a marquee on grass which was always muddy. To add to the insult we were assailed by very loud techno music the entire day. I will never stay at this hotel again until this change is reversed.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Plentiful and varied food. Friendly catering and bar staff. Beautiful vista looking out to sea.

Where do I start about the pool situation? The Purobeach club only let you use the sun beds around the bigger pool (that is in all the photos on the hotel site) if you pay an extortionate fee. None of this was mentioned when we booked. The hotel guests who don’t want to pay are directed to a substandard muddy area with a small pool. The staff there are horrendously rude and really didn’t like us AI guests ordering drinks and always served the sun bed payers first. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not book this hotel unless you want to spend a small fortune paying extra for sun beds that should be included.

The food was great and the rooms were very clean.

All inclusive is very limited for choice of drinks. Also they show off the pool as part of their property with pictures on website etc but you can’t actually sit near that pool unless you want to be charged €10-50 a day (depending on their mood). You have to sit on sun beds around the corner on grass and mud and watch all the sun beds at the main pool not being used. The lovely restaurant at the pool was constantly closed for private parties which quite often just took over the free pool area too. Felt like an inconvenience being a hotel guest with all that going on. All for £180 a night!
