Naranjos Resort Menorca

With very few choices in the area, this hotel was a find choice for the price. Walking distance from everything in S'Algar it is the place to go if you are traveling on a budget.

We stayed there for three days and on the last day the whole resort's water shut off. No showers, no brushing your teeth, nothing. Although it was not the staff's fault they were very rude when asked about what happened and when it would come back on.

Wouldn’t recommend

No Fan in the bathroom and no fan or AC in the rooms. The location wasn’t ideal.

Everything was fantastic. Lady on reception was so helpful and told us some wonderful “must see”” sights on such a beautiful island.

Spacious and clean apartment with all the facilities you could require.

Pool only 1.2m deep maximum. Very quiet location, only one restaurant open in walking distance.

The apartment hotel was easy to find. Staff were friendly. The apartment was of a good size. The facilities were good. It was easy to drive to all parts of the island - c1 hour to Ciutadella. Parking was very easy.

Our room was on the main throughfare to the back gate. There was no duvet on the second bed for the first night. Internet connection was variable. No English channels on the TV.

There is literally nothing open within miles of the hotel. We were told that nothing opens until Easter. Moved out after less than 24 hours. Asked for a part refund, but ignored sadly.This needs to be advertised at the time of booking. Feeling scammed really

Quite location and great value for money

Not easy to get around. You really need a car.

What I loved about Naranjos Resort was its wonderfully quiet location. The apartments with large balconies equipped with sun loungers and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. This meant we had a choice to go poolside, with similar facilities there plus a restaurant or relax on our balcony and chill out. Given the need to "unplug" the location was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean, equipped with all the usual requirements for those interested in self-catering, including a nespresso coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of washing up liquid, sponge and disposable cloth.Appreciated the shower facilities available to us in the foyer area especially after a day by the poolside, as we had an evening flight off the Island.

Most of the main hotels in S'Algar offer a "FREE" courtesy bus service to/from the airport. Naranjos Resort offer an airport shuttle service but charge 30 euros one way, making it a rather expensive alternative. No beach towels for hire, which seems a bit of an oversight, especially if you didn't pack your own. Plus the on site supermarket is very over-priced, a case of paying for the convenience of it's location.Suggestion, regardless of the time you arrive to the resort, if there was a small complimentary bottle of water left in the fridge, aligned with the number of guests in the booking, it would be a welcomed touch. This one essential item, curtailed when travelling, it always well received by guests tired from their travels. But more importantly, it permits refreshment/hydration upon arrival that can mean a long wait until the following morning.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean and beautifully laid out property. Wonderful staff. Restaurants and little market on site were helpful.

There was a ring not working on the hob (not too much drama caused by this but needs sorting) and there was no oven, just a microwave/grill (again no real dramas but would be better with an oven for self catering)

Lovely small and relaxed resort apart-hotel, in a lovely location, next to the beach with a couple of cafes/restaurants in the village. Perfect if you don't want a big bustling resort! The staff were really accommodating of our last minute booking and late arrival too, thanks!

We loved the resort, very comfortable rooms, very clean, the pool was great, amazing breakfast included local foods and the staff was super friendly and attentive. As a plus having the restaurant and the market in the facilities was very convenient.

the only thing I would add is some USB ports in the rooms to charge electronic devices and some shampoo for the bath.
