Seehotel Huberhof

We were only here for a night, so didn't get to fully enjoy the location. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the waitstaff were friendly. The meal I had (vegetarian ravioli with grilled cherry tomatoes and salad) was absolutely delicious.

This is a very traditional German small hotel ... and it is a most pleasant place to stay off the beaten path. My room was clean and well appointed. The menu selection at dinner offered a nice variety.

Also, as a traditional German property ... there is no lift (or elevator) and no air conditioning. Also missing were a hair dryer and an alarm clock. FYI - there were no English stations with the cable television. (Happily, most staff members did speak English.)

Very nice and English speaking staff. Cozy room in the attic, cleanliness, restaurant serving good wine, good wifi and lovely neighbourhood - lake and nice landscapes. Also - nice surroundings such as big porch, benches, big backyard. Additionally - I could store my bike in the shed where it was safely left with other bicycles.

It is really hard to find anything what I didn't like.

The hotel is situated in very nice location next to beautiful lake. The room was enough big, but bathroom was very small. The reception person was not very polite, but restaurant staff was very service orianted. Restaurant had also tasty big portions for dinner.

The place was nice, comfortable and clean. They prepared a special vegan breakfast for us on request. If you're vegan, let them know with anticipation, otherwise the breakfast will be a bit sad.

...breakfast is ok so far.... generic food and bred .... fully equipped to make you happy.I enjoyed the Sauna - which will be on by request - thanks for that.I had a good stay and will come back in summer.

Amazing place, very peaceful and quiet. Great location to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A great area for anyone looking for a rural spot right on a beautiful lake.

The property is located in the middle of nowhere. A very serene and nice place close to a lake. Friendly staff.

Waiters and waitresses are somewhat disorganized and know little English.

The hotel is in a lovely location, in a small village, right by a large lake. The breakfast was good, with a wide selection available, and attentive staff.

The service, or rather lack there of. We had a really strange check-in experience where the receptionist handed us the keys, did not say "welcome" or give out any basic information such as attractions in the area, restaurant opening times, breakfast, and the sauna. We later had to ask the servers for this information. We expected a friendly warm welcome as this is a small hotel. I hope in the near future the staff can be trained in customer service as this hotel has so much potential. The room was quite dated, and in need of a lick of paint and some care.

The Staff were very friendly and the place on the whole was cosy and comfy. Lovely location by a lake , big garden . Dog was welcome. I would come again.

We stayed one night on our way back from holidays on the Baltic Sea.Nicely renovated historic guest house in a quiet, small village on the lake, very good restaurant with a patio and a deck to sit outside. Direct access to the lake to swim or boat (canoes can be rented by the hour in the hotel), great lawn with sun beds to relax. Ideal for SUPs.Economy rooms are small, but sufficient. Comfortable beds.

Not much else to do around the hotel, or have lunch/dinner or just a beer. Restaurant closes at 9 pm.You cannot explore the lake surroundings on foot, as it is surrounded by private properties.Restaurant is quite busy on weekends.You are devoured by flies in summer :( bring adequate clothing and/or repellent :)

Hotel is great. I was in buisness trip just for one day. Good food I really enjoyed my stay. I recommend
