the room was clean, the view from the balcony was superb. the spa was wonderful. dinner was delicious.

Starting breakfast at 0730 is a bit late, I would have preferred 0700, as we had an appointment early in the morning. the gentleman staffing the breakfast room was kind enough to let us in five minutes early so we could get going.I would recommend that you advise guests that the Kaffee & Kuchen is not free, but charged extra. We were invited to have Kaffee and Kuchen upon arrival, but we were told that we had to pay only after consuming, . I have had this service offered in many hotels as part of the package, so unfortunately this was not clear to me.In the spa, it would be advisable to inform guests a little bit better prior to them going over there. We did not know that we could obtain robes or how to request them. We found out that the lockers in the spa needed a EUR 1 coin to lock it up only after we had gotten there and already undressed/changed. We had to leave our lockers unlocked, as we did not have coins with us.

It was very good value with the breakfast included in the price. Room and meals were wonderful. The heated pool and wellness was a real bonus.

Very good quality of the breakfast. The dinner was so delicious, specially the Pizza. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Very good sauna with heated swimming pool. Free parking. A table where to eat in the room. Perfect view.

Maybe the room needs a boiler.

Delicious and hearty breakfasts, a great view of the mountains, warm rooms, comfortable mattresses, and friendly hosts. We are all very satisfied.

Best view to the Forggensee from the window and terrace. Lovely spa.

The road (B16) offers good connection to Fuessen and other conveniencies but the traffic is relatively busy. Noise might be a problem for the rooms with the view.

The SPA experience was amazing, didn’t have many people so felt comfortably fine. The memory mattresses were cool. The breakfast was super tasty!!! I wish to come back with my family again. This visit was too short, to enjoy the facilities. Loved also the perfectly white towels and bed lining. Superb!

The bedroom was really cosy and clean. The spa was great, the breakfast had everything needed and the view from the bedroom was amazing.

The breakfast closes at 9:30 even on the weekend. Half an hour more on Saturday and Sunday would be nice.

If you are the kind of traveller or tourist who loves peace and quiet moments after and away from the noice that comes with city centre tourist shennanigans, this hotel needs to be on your list of stays in Allgäu. Though right next to a busy road, it's truly a hidden gem. Very friendly staff, unbelievably clean rooms (mine) amazing view and the breakfast buffet is .... the best way to start your day.

The spa and wellness area is only open for 6 hrs. But the positive part of that : In my opinion, why exactly would one want to laze around the spa when there's so much one can do outside the hotel and within proximity? Also, that's a very environmentally friendly way of balancing needs , consumption, and cost saving in this rotten economy days that don't favour such establishments.

+ Beautiful views of the lake.+ Very spacious room with a table, a sofa, a big bathroom and a terrace. All of it very clean.+ They provide a handbag with towels for the spa, which is really nice.+ Breakfast had lots of variety.+ The heated pool is heavenly! :)

- There was a little bit of a problem when going to the swimming pool. We went through the sauna area because we didn't know how to get there otherwise and some guests were pretty rude because we had swimsuits on and we should be naked. We didn't even look or enter the saunas, we passed through the corridor to get to the swimming pool.- The hotel is really close to a highway and as soon as you open the window there is a lot of noise, but the windows block all of it when you are inside, they are very effective and we had a peaceful stay :)

This was such an amazing experience. The hotel is amazing, and nestled in a beautifully scenic area. The view of the Alps and surrounding castles was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful, and the amenities were incredible. We particularly loved the sauna and spa which is above and beyond for a typical hotel. The accommodations were lovely and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced in Europe. I would highly recommend this property!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, even with language barrier, they were always willing to assist us. The spa is lovely and we had massages which was also great. The breakfast has a wide selection of dishes, which was always fresh and tasty.

They did not replace bathroom towels, even if we placed them on the floor to replace, so we had to ask for new ones constantly. We stayed for 7 nights so replacing towels 2-3 times is not a big ask in my opinion.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel and wish I could have stayed longer! The location is perfect—right near a stunning castle and a beautiful lake, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, who made me feel right at home.The highlight of my stay was definitely the spa. It’s beautifully designed with an amazing view that adds to the relaxing atmosphere.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I particularly disliked about my stay. The only minor inconvenience was the limited check-in window, which was from 14:00 to 18:00. You just need to take it into account when planning your trip, but overall, it didn't detract from an otherwise wonderful experience.

Wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The view of the alps and the lake is truly amazing. Food was delicious (we had dinner and breakfast). The room was clean and large.The hotel also has a spa.Overall, a cozy place with great service and amazing people running it, will be coming back for sure.

Very quaint, great breakfasts, lovely location. Restaurant was great even when they were very busy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn’t have a view, which was a shame because the view was spectacular from the front of the hotel, but the staff did explain to us that family rooms weren’t appointed with a view. The pool is not available for children under 16 which we only realized after we made the booking and the hotel sent us a message with that information. Our daughter is 11 so it meant as a family we could not use the facility together, so we didn’t at all.

The staff were very kind and helpful specially Mr Martin and Mrs Monia. The location was excellent very quite and the room size was perfect. There were plenty of free parking surrounding the hotel.
