AS Hoteles Ponferrada

The staff went out of their way to help us both at check in and in the morning. We appreciated their help.

It felt like the room was a prototype for a hotel. No blanket on the bed, no lights at bedside, no mattress cover, you needed the key card in the socket to have lights…we only had one key…way far away from the Camino. Basically at a truck stop.

This is a kind of road motel, obviously much better than the typical road motels in Canada or USA, but still just a road motel. If you are looking for a place to spend a night on route, it is good enough.

A little noisy due to being located just by the highway, and also the service was just OK.

Very clean comfortable rooms right of the A6 so very easy to get to.

Restaurante attached to the hotel with good food

Huge room, toasty warm, elevator to floor, close by free parking, food available next door, staff were super friendly and welcoming!

We were met by a most helpful receptionist, Angela and her equally helpful colleague. The rooms (we booked two) were very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location next to the A6 was excellent.

No complaints

It’s a motorway side hotel attached to a service station. Suitable for a person driving long distance who needs a bit of sleep quickly. Not suitable for someone visiting Ponferrada or doing The Camino. Only food was service station food. Only safely accessible by car.

Not for hikers

This hotel is nowhere near the Camino. Hikers need to climb a fence to get to the property.

It was very clean and it had an excellent price.

Reception is closed between 23:00 and 07:00, can be problematic for some people.

Rooms clean

It was on a motorway,only way to get there is by car or taxi .Very noisy trafficIf walking Camino I wouldn't advise you to stay there .also it took an hour and half to check me in .Then they tried to double charge me .the food selection poor and breakfast not good .there Is nowhere nearby to eat Only trucks all day and night

Excellent very large room which was extremely clean. Excellent free parking and facilities. For a hotel which is situate on a motorway services it was exceptional. short drive into Ponferrada.

Not being able to walk to anywhere but that was my fault not the properties.

Little hot water, room too hot at night, on motorway and difficult to get to by foot

Nice price and value, actually we found it and after checking some reviews we were a bit worried about what we would found, but finally we found a place that full fill al the requirements that we were looking for a nice place to stay one night in our way to Galicia. Even if you want to visit Ponferrada is ok, cause you have the motorway just in front of the hostal and you will last around 10 minutes driving to reach the city center.

I would say that everything was ok, frankly for the price that we paid is more than you can expect.

Simple but clean and no issues. Good value for money

Has a 24hr restaurant which is super convenient with nice food.

Great value for money. It had everything we wanted.

Location was a little hard to get to but we made it in the end.

I was walking the Camino and needed a good place to recharge my Batteries.
