Pros +
- Personnel were very helpful, knowledable, and professional. They did help in everyway possible. No complaints whatsoever! Just deserve recognition for their excellent work.
- Location
- Small, but quiet rooms. Great location.
Cons -
- No complaints whatsoever.
- The LOUD music all night. It was hard to find the hotel and we drove a car. Found parking, but we had to drag luggage a long way. The pillows were way to big and stiff
- Hallway and stairs lighting could be improved with battery operated LED light strips. An electric kettle in the kitchen area would be great to heat water for morning tea

Helpful staff, key for after hours entry, good location

Location, cleanliness, comfort
? the monastery bells ring on the hour 0800 to 2200, so if you are jetlagged or have a late night, don't expect to ever sleep in
Great location. Easy access if you arrive before 6. Helpful front desk person. Nice room.
The photos for the king room with tub is probably only for one room and the remaining king rooms didn't like that - at least ours did not.
Location, clean, comfortable, view of the city. Friendly helpful staff. Loved use of the kitchen/seating area.
In the center of the town amid many restaurants and shops. and more importantly for me, one block off Camino. Clean room and excellent value.
The room was kinda small but the price more than made up for it.
Great location, easy check in. Good bed, large bathroom
Nice
Amazing location in old town Ponferrada. Close to the castle and good restaurants. Check in was simple, AC worked well. Quiet.
Strangely dark - like no lights on at all in the hallways. Felt a bit unsafe. Breakfast was cash only which I didn’t have. Really small room with no view out the window. A couple stains on the bedcover but clean otherwise.
Room was very nice and clean and comfortable
The hall was dark and the lights didn’t come on when I walked in it. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find the lock on my door to open it.
This small hotel is centrally located in the old section of Ponferrada between the two plazas near the Castle. Very convenient to restaurants and museums. Bus station is a twenty minute walk from there. My room was small and the window was frosted over so I couldn’t see the 4 walls of the inner courtyard. Staff was friendly and the property felt safe.
The individual room was fine for one night but would be too claustrophobic for more than that.
Great location.
AC wouldn’t cool and we had to sleep with the window open. No service at the front desk in the evening.
The building is old and historic, and the location is very convenient. The staff are friendly and responsive to any needs.
A little dark
Wonderful receptionist, very kind and welcoming. The room is small, but it was perfect for me, as i just needed a bed and a shower! The beds were very firm, but I slept just fine. Thankful to have a quiet stay right in old town. Location is great, very easy to get back to the camino.
The beds were clean, although a couple of questionable stains on the covers. I didn't bring it to attention to the staff, as it didn't bother me too much.
Neat and clean. On the Camino so neat and clean is great!
Bathroom wayyyyy tooooo small for a 6’-1” American
Excellent staff, good room, great location
Close to attractions, friendly staff, and clean.
Construction outside of window and a little older.
Location is great except you need to be aware that there is no place close to park or get dropped off. So be prepared to carry your luggage a ways to get to the hotel.
I had to call the number on the door to get someone to get the code to get into the building and then the keys were just lying on the counter with my name. It worked but not having anyone there was a concern.
