Hotel Alpina

Even though we only stayed one night, the hotel/room was great. Clean and modern. The staff was super nice and accommodated us Americans. Best part was hanging out in the hotel bar with the staff and locals.

Modern hotel a little bit outside of the village, around 10 minutes from the railway station (go out from the opposite site to the village). Spacious room and the bathroom..very good restaurant in the ground floor, with a wide choice of pizzas, but not only. Great breakfast.

It’s along the motorway, so not in a pretty spot, but very accessible and safe.

Friendly staff at the hotel's desk and in the restaurant. Breakfast was OK. Close to the train station. Was a very decent hotel to spend the night.

The single bed is too narrow and the pillow is quite uncomfortable. The window blinds don't block the outside light or the view.

There were no noisy hotel guests.

The breakfast was very poor, only the coffee was ok. The room was very outdated, in the style and condition of 70s, including the carpet and the bathroom. It was cold in the room, especially the bathroom was freezing, even after having the heating at maximum the whole night.

Very friendly cheerful welcome could not have been bettered.We are 3 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and really enjoyed or stay at the modern Hotel Alpina after some tough hilly but stunningly beautiful riding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. No problem storing our 3 bikes in the secure reception area. We all 3 shared one big room which was no problem. Very comfortable. Great restaurant which is good because the Alpina is a little bit out of town. Good breakfast. All good. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

Not didn’t like but more to be aware that the hotel is in a edge of town somewhat business environment.

Stayed here for business in the local area. The rooms, while basic, were clean and comfortable. Ate at the hotel restaurant every night, there was a reasonable amount of choice and the food was good. Staff very friendly and helpful although sometimes hard to find, as the reception was not manned during the day. Would definitely stay again.

The walls between the rooms were very thin, with lots of sound from adjacent rooms. The walking route to the local station wasn't great, and involved walking along a local road with no pavement for part of the way.

The rooms are basic but fine for a short stay. The location is right next to the highway but it's surprisingly quiet. The attached restaurant is very good!

The blankets felt heavy and I'm almost sure there was a bug in there somewhere. The rooms could use a bit of renovation.

* Our room was somewhat aged, a renovation would be desirable. One of the two lamps on the bedside tables did not work.* The bathroom is large, but it is dark and the shower (although large) has a very high step to get in and out of it.* The shampoo offered was very little and only available in two tiny sachets.* The WiFi connection was often unstable and the coverage (from our room) weak.* The restaurant/pizzeria/breakfast room is good but we were constantly surrounded by flies: obviously not the hotel's fault, but it was annoying both at dinner and the next day at breakfast.

just what I needed. an ovenight stay before skiing in Davos the next day. Good parking, comfortable rooms, clean and excellent breakfast.

the location is perfect. there's a lovely path beside the river. only 5min. with the train to Grüsch where you can go skiing, hiking and more.

The restaurant from the hotel serves amazing food. I had a veggie pizza which had soooo much fresh and delicious vegetables on it. You rarely find that today. Usually they go cheap on the toppings but not here.The staff is very friendly. And the room for that price was a very good deal.

The bed and the cushion was a bit too soft for my liking but that’s about it everything else was very good. You enjoyed my stay.

The location is stunning! The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is dog friendly and it only takes you like 5min. to the train station (to Landquart or Klosters / Davos). Hope to go back soon.

Can't find any fault. I only have one suggestion: a water cooker and tea / coffee. That's all :)
