Cons -
- Not one to complain at all as i know all holidays have there flaws but this one i decided to write a review.Place reminds me of a spanish version of haggerston castle but costing alot more to go.Traveled with family with 2 young kidsNot close to any town. Getting a taxi is a nightmareOn site shop not open all day. And not close to a shop outwith. You can walk to aldis etc but its a trek by foot and crossing a busy dangerous road. Taxi wont come to take you there.Pool bar closes during the day.Cant drink or eat anything at the pool area purchased from supermarket even though the bar was shut.Life guards and security let there power get to there heads a bit.i get theu have to look after folk at rhe pool but listening to the whistle getting blown every couple of minutes for petty things was a bit over the top. Security guard ripping towels of beds. Yes i get if the place was busy but it wasntLodge wasnt the cleanest. Pool had rubbish under sunbeds for a few days.Poolside entertainment was all in spanish. Not catering for anybody that doesnt speak spanish . Had to book another hotel during our stay to enjoy our holiday (which we did :)Tried to get a refund for cutting our holiday short and they were not interested and told me to contact booking.com as it was there problem as i booked it through themWouldnt recommend and definetly wont be back
- Biggest scam alive.out in the middle of nowhere, rude staff, entertainment non existent,I think the reviews must be fake. Tiny ice cold pool outside and they charge for the indoor pool! Even then you pay to use 1 lane of the tiny pool whilst they run swimming lessons. The games room everything broken and out of order. The trampoline thing broken and never open
- The bungalow smelled of dampness, and there were so few items for breakfast that I begged the staff for scrambled eggs. They brought powdered eggs that were as dry as a bone.

Friendly campsitePoolLaundry facilitiesFully equipped cabin Ideal for if you want to stay on site and cook relax Very family oriented site
Although the cabin we had could sleep 5 it would have been very tight.Pool didn’t open until 11am and closed at 6 apart from weekends.Pool bar not open. The small shop on site was well stocked and proved however only open a few hours a day and not on a Monday & Tuesday.Beach access required a car.No where to walk to off site - again needed a car.

Staff were not the happiest people. The fee of using indoor swimming pool/gym and wellness was quite expensive and not well written in the description. It's a very strict camping with many rules. On 2 of the 3 days we were there, there was a band playing. But we had to pay to see the band. And because of that there was no possibility to use the bar or restaurant without paying. Also they broke their own rule by playing in siesta time.
We stayed here as a family of 5 and absolutely loved our stay. The accommodation was spotless, and had everything we needed. We visited the buffet lunch a few times and it was great value for money , something for even the fussiest eaters. The pool was well kept and very quiet during the week which we loved. It was much busier at the weekend though, and we struggled to get loungers. The kids loved the play park, trampoline and games room. We rented a car and I'm glad we did. Although the complex has a little shop, the car came in handy to visit bigger shops nearby and drive to some neighbouring towns for food/beaches/the safari zoo etc. We arrived late at night and a porter checked us in. The on site shop was closed so in hindsight we should have found a 24hour shop on our way to get some water/essentials.
Beautiful site with an excellent lifeguarded, heated pool. The site was well maintained and was just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. On-site mini supermarket with fresh croissants and pain au chocolat first thing in the morning. Very easy drive to Alicante airport.
Cabins were all very close together so felt quite crowded when all were occupied. We found there was much more privacy and spacing at the Alannia Costa Blanca site. Evening buffet was pretty good (but not open on the Wednesday of our stay and virtually no fresh fruit) but the breakfast buffet was pretty awful - we all left most of what we selected as it did not taste good (except the Churros which were lovely!). Evening buffet not open till 8:30pm and most people - especially with kids - ate as soon as it opened and had finished and gone by 9:30pm. We would have liked it to open earlier. Overall we preferred the Alannia Costa Blanca site

A lovely site, in an excellent location, not too far from Guardamar centre and a walk to the beach, great onsite facilities such as indoor spa and the outdoor pool is very large and beautiful and well kept.
In summer it must be very busy
The facilities and all the activities for kids and the jacuzzi+sauna, amazing
There is nothing to complain I'm
Nice bathroom great powerful shower and lovely swimming pool to sit around
An oven would have been good and a toaster
Highly recommended. Great for families. Really fun for children. Beautiful location. Fun accommodation which was clean and well equipped with air con and fridge. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly.
Cleanliness. Comfortable beds, terrific shower. Location Close but not in Guardamar. Likewise Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi and Iceland if u need supplies.Didn't use but has good recreation facilities.
Unable to park outside cabin although there is a large free car park 200/300 meters away. Not ideal if u have restricted mobility.Don't always read and fully understand online customer questions and only provide a general reply.
Location
Noisy neighbors ! Not immediate parking ( walk to bungalows and with children & luggage this is not ideal ) and it’s card policy only at the pool bar no cash !
I did not stay- I cancelled immediately when I arrived and saw that it was not a hotel. The campgrou
It is listed as a 5star hotel, but it is a campground.
Exceptional
We are senior citizens unfortunately the row of bungalows were all in habited with families with children under four years of age it was very noisy most of the day and evenings it did not stop the enjoyment of the holiday I would expected the management to take our age into consideration there were rows a lot quieter with more middle aged people
The facilities were fantastic. Everything was spotlessly clean. The cabins were brilliant for a family with three kids. The shop, bar and restaurant were all very reasonably priced. The whole holiday was very affordable and wonderful! Will definitely be back.
There’s nothing! We loved the place.
Absolutely nothing
Everything, not as described, very dissatisfied and disappointed on arrival, didn’t stay but still had to find alternative accommodation that evening.
Good facilities for small kids
The resort is not up to scratch to be a 5 star. Food was less than average, bungalow was dated and sports facilities badly needs updating. Bbq area completely neglected. Very loud where we were situated, shouting after 1am on one of the nights, we had a man walking around stark naked and another urinating over the balcony in plain sight of my children. There was no sign of security. Reception were not very helpful. The lock broke twice on our bungalow so we requested to be moved. We were moved to a bungalow next door to be asked after moving and unpacking to go back into the one we just came out of because they fixed the lock, an absolute joke. We were then moved into a different bungalow again. Girl in Reception was incredibly rude, rolling her eyes because we weren't happy, called my husband an idiot to one of her colleagues. No management to speak to, no apologies given. We left 2 days early over all of this and booked into La Marina resort which was amazing. Absolutely terrible experience Alannia Guardamar, never again.
