Location, historic property, delicious breakfast. Decor of room was gorgeous.

Beds were too soft.

This is a lovely little hotel in a lovely village. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is first rate— helpful and attentive to the needs of the guest. Breakfast is enjoyable and carefully tended.

I would prefer wood floors to carpeting in the bedroom. However, I would stay here again in a jiffy.

An absolute gem of a place. Incredibly tasteful and beautiful decor in the room and all throughout the hotel. This hotel is a true work of art with many incredible spots in the hotel to nourish your soul with beauty. Do not miss an opportunity to stay here. Also parking is available here for a small fee and it is also incredibly well located.

Very characterful hotel right in the centre of town. Great value and helpful staff.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Santillana del Mar combining masses of old world charm with modern conveniences, like an excellent shower. We liked the spacious parking at the back of the hotel. The staff were delightful and we were grateful for the recommendation for a restaurant for dinner.

This is a beautifully restored building, stylishly decorated and with modern facilities. The staff could not be more helpful and attentive. We will visit again.

Location, easy parking, excellent staff and information on how to access this beautiful hotel in the old town. Relaxing in the common areas and gardens was picture perfect.

Bed was slightly soft for us. No kettle in the room but hot water in a teapot for morning tea was delivered with a smile.

The room was furnished with beautiful antiques and exotic furniture. The bathroom was huge and well equipped. Appreciated the coffee maker too - something that we did not encounter in many hotels in Spain.

We loved everything!

The hotel was in an excellent position right in the main street. Very comfortable down stairs with several rooms with comfortable chairs and small tables for drinks. Breakfast was very good with a large selection to choose from

We were not so happy with our room. It was in the attic and very dark it only had a Velux window which did not give off much light. We have stayed in this hotel before and had a room on the first floor which was much lighter and better positioned.

Large room, modern bathroom, tasteful decor. The porter and the receptionist were extremely courteous and professional.

The rooms facing the front of the hotel get a lot of noise from the street (throngs of pedestrians during the day and then garbage trucks at 7am) as well as from the large outdoor restaurant across the street.

Large beautifully decorated room,tea/ coffee facilities,generous breakfast,big bathroom,bar for an evening drink,very central to village. The staff in particular were so lovely,and made great recommendations for evening meals.There was also a beautiful garden.

Private car park, exceptionally friendly staff, beautiful clean room and excellent breakfast.

Would have preferred a kettle to a coffee maker but that is probably a typically English gripe!

Check in was easy and receptionist very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and waitress was very nice, she was there in the evening for the bar and in the morning.
