Javier at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful.The hotel is so lovely and like stepping back in time, it is grand. The outside appearance does not do it justice.

Beautiful hotel in Parador in the center of Santillana Del Mar. Great restaurant and bar, friendly staff.

Difficult to get to the hotel thanks to erroneous directions from Google and Apple. The hotel should work with the nav companies to get them to correct the guidance.

Was offered a welcome drink - staff had no clue what this included - also didn’t know how to make any cocktails other than a cosmos

Good location in a nice old town, comfortable rooms, good service.

The breakfast, lunch and evening meal were all good

Did not like the cobbles or the approach to the car park as we were on a big, heavy touring motorbike

Very comfortable stay in this Parador. Breakfast was very good with cooked items available at no extra charge. Dinner was excellent with varied choice of dishes.

Room was a bit cold in the morning and evening.Charging 9€ per night for non secure parking we thought was a lot. Breakfast a bit expensive.

Good range of food available

Parking very bad. Ok if you have a small car but narrowness of streets meant our car, a large estate, forced us to use a public car park 5/10 minutes away that did not offer any security for the vehicle.

The breakfast was excellent - one of the best which we have had in Spain. The room was large, with a mini fridge. The staff were super helpful.

The bed was rather hard, as were the pillows. The central heating is a bit antiquated.

This was a wonderful place to visit a village in the true style of what it had been , from quite a few years back. Loved it.Comfy room.Restaurant food was good.The reception area on first floor was stunning.No more to say.I have said enough.

When we came to check out I was asked to pay the room costs again. I was pretty sure I had paid in advance but couldn't find my receipt at the time. We then went on to the Parador at Cangas de Onis. I unpacked and found my receipt for Parador Gil Blas. The receptionist at Cangas de Onis was very helpful and phoned back to Parador Gil Blas for me.The person at Gil Blas stated that I could have a refund as I had shown all the relevant paperwork to the receptionist at Cangas De Onis. I hope the refund will be processed very soon ?

Astonishing building with lovely spaces in a great location. Excellent service.
