    Pros +

    • The room was modern, clean and comfortable. I chose this hotel to avail of the spa facilities which I was happy to use but disappointed it wasn't hotter & more accessible.
    • The room was very nice with windows on two sides. It was comfortable. Shower was good
    • Buffet dinning for Dinner and Breakfast

    Cons -

    • The spa is only open for a short period in the evening & the temperatures are unacceptably low in the sauna, if you are a habitual sauna user. Also it is unclear that there are additional charges for breakfast & the spa at the time of booking. The hotel claims to have a restaurant with room service but actually you need to leave the premises & walk up the road to an Irish bar just to get water. I found that unusual and a bit annoying if you all prepared for the spa. In the morning after paying an additional fee for the spa & breakfast I pointed out that this really wasn't clear from the reservation. The receptionist clearly wasn't interested in my feedback or suggestion that it should say room only on the booking rate. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable, the booking process could be more clear though.
    • We were told to go to the pub along the street for drinks. It was a dive
    • No in hotel bar, directed to "pub" located across carpark which hotel uses, might not be to everyone's taste.Couldn't pour a pint of Guiness to save their lives!!

    Location to Santander Ferry port

Very tired hotel room. Nowhere to sit, no table & no bedside lights

Great room, loved the bath tub. Bed very comfortable and slept well

    Very quiet, breakfast wasn't available.

The location was nice and close to our final destination of Santander for the ferry. Nice modern hotel with garage parking which we utilised as we had our car window smashed earlier in the holiday and only had a piece of plastic covering the gap. Rooms a good size with comfortable bed and we had our own table and chairs on a large roof top patio area. Stunning view across the fields to the local cemetary but beautiful looking tombs!

They advertised a restaurant and a spa but neither seemed to be open when we were there! We were unlikely to have used the spa but we were looking forward to their "Cantabrian gastronomy" but there was nowhere we could see apart from a cafeteria on floor -1! And the Spa was on floor -2 with no lights on! We ate in a bar that was next door but would have preferred the optimal meal that they were promising on their site

    Breakfast

Spa, not able to use it, it was closed twice. First time, during a trip with my husband on a short weekend trip. Second trip, with my daughter, it was closed from 1:30 to 5:30 pm which is the kids allowed time. I was a costumer for long time, wont be back.

Handy for ferry at Santander -20 min drive. Evening meal and breakfast were buffets with good choices.

You need twos hands to operate the lift - using the room key card and floor selection simultaneously. No refreshments available on arrival but a very friendly pub next door.

First of all The hotel is quite old. On photos it looks much better. Rooms are small, beds are small and not comfortable. Definitely, it’s time to change mattresses. Breakfast and dinner very very basic. We choosed this hotel because of Spa but it opens only from 5 p.m if I’m not mistaken and also looks quite old and not very well maintained. So we never used it. We were not happy with our room from very beginning and we asked to changed it. And here I’m personally grateful that we were heard and after couple of days we could choose the better room. At the end we had better experience but I wouldn’t come back here anyway, sorry. This hotel should have 3 stars in my opinion

    Clean and comfortable

Poor customer service at reception. The restaurant was closed and we were not informed until we went there for dinner. Receptionist unable to recommend alternative restaurants and was very unhelpful.

Fits of all everithing on the photos looks much better, our room was much diferent grom the photos, the area also, there is a industry area very cloce, also another buildings near, the pictures showinh a lot of nature around, but it is not exactly like that. The second floor rooms is perfect, but on first is depend of the room they will give you. Bed was very comftable. Free parking available, if you find place.

The SPA is working from 17:00 until 21:00 only, and that was not mentioned in the booking details

Everything is very old, doesn't look like on the pictures. The walls are damaged, the toilet is damaged and very old. The wardrobe is broken. The Spa is 24 euros per person and doesn't look worthy to be honest. The whole building needs full renovation.

Really nice Hotel a quiet area. I had a very good sleep. The bed is very comfy.

Not good space at the desk in the room, but it´s okay.

In the restaurant, the staff were wonderful, all had a smile on their face and were very efficient, also dressed wonderfully in waitress uniforms. The food was exceptional and good value for money.

    Bed was a little uncomfortable

    4DavidPosted on: 9-21-2022

    good location

the bed was the worst I have ever slept in, metal framed and you rolled to the edge as it wasn’t flat. Breakfast was all very stale.

    8PaulPosted on: 6-18-2022

Great location for the coast and access to Santander. Air conditioning welcome. Garage parking for motorcycles.

Room decor tired, needs a coat of paint. Restaurant not open until 9pm. Breakfast basic and buffet style which had been ravaged by a coach party.

    7PhilipPosted on: 9-13-2021

    Staff were great.

It took 3 changes of room before we had one where the toilet seat wasn’t broken.

    10SantiagoPosted on: 1-19-2026

The hotel staff was very accommodating and kind. The location was within an agricultural area which was very pleasant and relaxing.
