About
Nestled in the medieval village of Santillana del Mar, this hotel has plenty of rustic charm and picturesque views of the surrounding grounds and countryside. Thanks to the Solana's great location, you can enjoy mountain, beach and culture during your vacation. The golden beaches of the Cantabrian coastline are just over 2 miles away while Santander is 12 miles away and worth a day trip. Alternatively, explore the beautiful scenery with a long country walk. Make a visit to the enchanting Altamira caves, less than a mile from the Solana. A traditional mountain-style property, the Solana is in perfect harmony with the medieval and noble villas of Santillana del Mar. Just 330 ft from the main square of the village, you can enjoy views of the Santa Juliana Collegiate which dates back to the 12th century. Enjoy rustic details in the Solana's interiors such as wooden beams on the ceilings and a charming stone façade.
