Hotel Cyrnea

The staff was friendly. The room was good, with a nice view. It was cold outside, but there was a heating inside.

The room was a little bit small.

Room was clean. We were there only for one night.

Room was pointing to the street side. Windows are triple and very weel atenuate sound from the street. But in the room is the air exchenger and make terable noise and I didn't sleep all night.

Location, cleanliness and the friendly lady from the reception offered me a goodbye coffee.

Check in process... the male receptionist was totally stressed out and in an "industrial processing mode" in a "not so friendly way" to handle an arriving guest ... . He mentioned how understaffed they are and most likely out of frustration he was letting me wait for almost an hour exactly by the minute until 3.00pm. Even though the room was actually ready earlier ... .36c in the reception area and no running AC. Gladly ad he did not charge me for the sauna experience. Guess the good man needs a good rest, best a nice vacation to reset his attitude and approach to a business where friendliness and a simile do mean a lot and can make all the difference. I do understand that he might have been in a difficult situation but in hospitality professional and friendly guest handling is mandatory in every situation. See the example of his colleague which handled the check out, unfortunately she was not at the reception at the first day.

Helpful, friendly host! Amazingly clean rooms. Wonderful garden! Good public transport. I really recommend it.

The seaview was lovely. The room was very clean, slighlty small but that's because it was an older building which didn't bother us. The staff were lovely, really helpful. Helped with our luggage, said we could take food up to the room if we wanted to eat on the balcony. They offered us free coffee because we didn't have breakfast! There was a lovely restaurant just up the road, very good value. There was a big car park and a swimming pool which looked lovely although sadly we didn't get to use it. Good Wifi. All in all we were plesaantly surprised.

Room was on the small side and no minibar/fridge or tea/coffee and kettle which rooms often have these days, but this was probably due to the nature of the building and it didn't matter to us. The rest made up for it.

We had an issue with the ferry that was delayed and we warned the hotel as soon as we knew. It took some negotiations before we agreed that they would wait for us, as also other clients had the same issue. They were nice but it took an effort. They allowed us to check out one hour later as we arrived late - that was very nice.

Exeptional views, outstanding service, very comfortable room and nice breakfast.

Very good location, not far from Bastia and few steps from beach. Good value for the money.

Only one thing, that the Parking is not included in the price, but was not expensive (6€).

Efficiently run with robust house rules. Good breakfast. Good secure parking. Fantastic sea views. Walkable into town centre in 30 minutes. Access thru secured gate to a small ( rocky) public beach. Guest accessible fridge in reception for chilling things.

Slightly later check out. OK to charge for parking, but not ok to have to take the hotel breakfast ( extra charge , not cheap) if you want to use and pay for the parking.

The garden was beautiful and the views were outstanding. It was great to be able to walk through the garden down to the beach. There is a nice little bar on the beach.

Nothing really as the room was good value for money.

Very friendly owner and wife.Location is extreme good with a very nice garden and access right away to the beach.City is walking distance and 2 minutes by car from the ferry
